Pros: The breakfast was good, and so was the location. The staff is very friendly.
Cons: The breakfast was running low at times, and taking too long to replenish. Efficiency of the front desk and management, requested a detailed invoice which I haven't received to date. The bigger rooms could be put to better usage, there were lot of shelves which weren't unnecessary. The self catering rooms had no utensils which is pointless.
Pros: I had the two bedroom loft apartment, which was spacious, comfortable and created a sense of being in ones own home away from home. The true winning factor in the end, has got to be their legendary staff! WOW! As an avid traveller who stays 200 days a year in hotels around the world; I have got to admit that I have very seldom found such a wonderful, polite and closely knit group of staff members. In all honesty, I can’t help but think of them as a family in it’s own right... and boy, do they make you feel a part of that too! Since this stay, I’ve already returned there on three separate occasions. Thanks guys for blessing me with the confidence of knowing that when I’m in that northern end of Cape Town, that I have a home to go to.
Pros: Room was spacious and modern. Staff was super friendly and helpful
Cons: Shower is small. AC is noisy
Cons: The plates that was stack for breakfast was dirty. They did not know how to make proper omelet. The bacon and sausage was not fresh it was old. It tasted old. There was no plug in the bath we had to ask for one. We had to ask for our room to be serviced. After we came back in the afternoon.
Pros: The breakfast area was poorly planned, as the hotel was fully booked a consideration to have a bigger serving point should have been thought about.

Cons: Myself and my wife stayed in the executive suite - only thing we could fault is that the suite never had a vanity mirror for her to do her makeup in the room at the dressing table????
Pros: Clean and relaxing
Cons: was a good stay.
Pros: The exceptional good service made our stay a pleasure. The housekeeping staff made a special effort to change our beds from double to twins after the front desk arranged for us to have a room on the ground floor. The restaurant staff made sure that every request resulted in a perfect meal.
Pros: Lovely and friendly staff, always willing to help. The buffet breakfast every morning is delicious and nicely varied every morning. Beds were great and sleeper couch comfy for my son. They also have generators installed to combat load-shedding times.
Cons: Unfortunately, even though it’s listed as self-catering, and a fridge is listed on booking.com, there was no fridge in our chalet. It might have to do with the load shedding.
Pros: Room and breakfast were ok.
Cons: There were issues with the room safe.
Cons: It was loadshedding. We were in total darkness when we arrived. Had to find our own way up the stairs. Stayed there for two days every time it was loadshedding it was total darkness no emergency lights.
Pros: Everything was excellent
Cons: There was not something I did not like
Pros: Good breakfast friendly staff. Quite location must have a car.

Pros: Location was good. Sakkie and Collete were wonderfull hosts - breakfast very good.
Pros: Great stay, very comfortable bed. Nice location.
Pros: The breakfast was made by the owner herself, and was very good. The property has good security, with an electric gate and ample parking. The rooms were comfortable, and we slept well. There was a small desk which made working on my laptop a lot easier.
Cons: The room was initially set up as two separate beds when we requested a king, but it wasn't hard to push the beds together. The owner did apologise after she realised the mistake. One of our charging cables got broken after the cleaners had been in our room, which they probably didn't see besides the bedside table. The owner has a small dog which was running around during breakfast. Most of the time it was fine, but other times it was distracting.

Pros: Wonderful friendly and cheerful hosts
Pros: very friendly staff, very flexible when having to deal with the unexpected electricity load shedding situation that happened during our stay. There was clear information on the load shedding times (when there would not be electricity for the aircon/fan/kettle etc in the room) The guesthouse's kitchen is equipped with gas stoves - so we could still have tea, coffee and a hot breakfast. The guesthouse is also prepared for any water restrictions that have been in place in the area previously and might come into effect again this summer - water tank, filter and pump are installed... -Dining / living room is spacious and invites to sit down and relax. The guesthouse is situated in a quiet area. We enjoyed our stay. We came for a wedding and wanted to stay near the venue. We could walk into the centre of the town. Uber is also available to get around in town.
Pros: The location was good and safe.
Cons: Really nothing to add
Pros: Everyone is friendly and helpful. Thanks for great assistant.
Pros: Breakfast, the peaceful nature of the place, lovely rooms, we helpful and wonderful staff!!
Cons: The pool was tiny and the jacuzzi didn't work
Pros: Very comfortable and lovely and quiet, but close to shops and restaurants. There was air conditioning available in the room, and also an excellent ceiling fan, but you could open the windows as well. The breakfast was good and more than adequate. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Safe on the property parking
Cons: I don't have any dislikes, but the only thing missing in the bathroom were tissues. Also the safe in the room did not work.

Pros: Place is really wonderful with welcoming hosts and staff who could not do enough for us. Thank you for taking such good care of us!
Cons: Some of rooms don’t have a door between the room and the bathroom. So if you’re not comfortable to stay without the door, you should write to the hotel in advance. We didn’t know about that and had to stay the whole week without the door. It was a torture for us =)))
Pros: Everything is amazing Perfect all round The Owners Robert and Gert are amazing guy's The food and staff beautiful We will definitely be back very soon.. Thank you once again

Pros: Staff most friendly! Afforded me sufficient time to check out - able to finish studies.
Cons: Didn't particularly like the area
Pros: Everything was so clean, everybody so friendly
Cons: The area not for going out at nights.or that is the way we felt.
Pros: Nothing really
Cons: Photos on the website and reality is not the same
Pros: The staff was very helpful.
Cons: The overpriced food and small room that gets very little natural light. 60 percent of my plate was full of rice, very little meat (which had lots of fat on) and small portion of vegs. This was priced at R170.00. Overall, it was okay. But food was a big disappointment.
Pros: We were in the lodge for 16 days on lockdown. Lionel and his team have taken care of us in an exemplary manner. We had breakfast and dinner in the lodge. It was delicious and changed daily. Even taking into account the circumstances it was an exceptional stay. Thank you very much to Lionel and his team. Hans & Susi

Pros: We loved the setting, the homestead, the crown restaurant, and the grounds.
Pros: Impressive Manor House and decent room
Cons: Friendly but totally Incompetent staff not informing us of load shedding-being from Canada we were unfamiliar with it,although room was fully paid and confirmed we still got phone calls and emails asking if our stay is still on, not fixing broken safe for 3 days while promising to do so resulting is us carrying personal valuables with us all the time-very inconvenient, manager not responding to our concerns, breakfast advertised as included BUT very slow service and only include 1 free drink namely either coffee or juice-RIDICULOUS , poor room service,no porter or help with luggage, parking a nightmare-really a disappointment !
Pros: The farm and nature is lovely and beautiful.
Cons: A mere locked door separated us from our nabours and even soft talking could be heard clearly and made our stay uncomfortable and unpleasant.
Pros: It was wonderful! Lovely place with a stunning view! I cannot fault anything with our stay. I would definitely visit again
Pros: Everything else especially the staff, specifically Bongi and Henco. Also the property and room!!
Cons: Everyone understands loadshedding, but the generator only powera lights, which means for 2 and a half hours we could not be outside and in an expensive room we only had lights, no tv or plugs, so wasn't very pleasant and this was during the evening of 20h00 to 22h30 where you can't sleep and would appreciate the tv or wifi. The restaurants staff are very slow and not well trained and mannered.
Pros: Beautiful hotel and surroundings. Can’t believe it is situated just outside Cape Town! Felt like we were right in the heart of the winelands but so convenient to be close to the city.

Pros: Great staff and super service Felt almost like your home Beautiful furnished
Cons: The internet is not super fast (But that is a problem in whole South africa)
Pros: Room and linen clean. Staff friendly and helpful.
Cons: Situated on a busy road, so very noisy. Aircon (heater) didn’t work but a portable heater was provided. Layout of bathroom is super cramped. Too much furniture in the room, so it has a cluttered look and feel.
Pros: Welcoming atmosphere, very friendly staff. Safe
Pros: Clean, comfortable and homely. Very friendly staff

Pros: Nothing at all That place is at the most dangerous part of Western Cape- thw Cape Flats- uber n bolt drivers cancels the trip whenever you request. If was horrible experience that despite being charged double we only spent 2 nights of the 3 nights we paid for
Cons: They double charged me and i still await the refund. After my payment through booking.com they call and claim they didnt receive the money and i had to do an EFT.
Pros: Staff were friendly and helpful
Cons: The fact that you have to park your car outside if the parking is taken is unacceptable Sharing a bathroom which i did not expect Having to leave and gate not working Says free wifi but no wifi Kitchen was a mess where we had to warm our food Bathroom was dirty When we arrived banging on doors and loud swearing and talking taking place till 4 in the morning!!! Felt very unsafe My first time having to comment on a review through booking.com Worst experience will not advise anyone to go there!

Pros: Clean, spascious.
Cons: Compared to similar priced properties in area, the breakfast could improve. Have more variety. Was missing porridge because I always travel with kids younger than 12 years. We got porridge after we placed an order on the last day we were at venue. Also breakfast was perfect on last day, which is what we expected from day 1 as we are from out of province.
Pros: Don’t understand what happened there, I booked a room for 786 ended up paying 950 rands cus she said I had genius booking, isn’t that suppose to give me a 10% discount
Pros: Attention to detail. The friendly ladies who waited for our late arrival and woke up at the crack of dawn to see us off. Daily Whatsapp’s every evening to confirm our breakfast time.. Personal attention that catered for our specific dietary requirements. They even went to buy us lactose-free milk to keep in our bar fridge in our suite♥️ They made us gluten-free and lactose free breakfasts and even included a vegan option.. All the ladies were accessible during our stay and catered for our every need, even checking in on us during our journey!
Pros: We felt at home and the kids really had fun. Our stay was a pleasurable one♥️♥️♥️
Pros: This hotel is fine and we were only stopping off for one night to wind down after our long flight before starting our holiday „properly”. The staff were very friendly and rooms comfortable. Breakfast was good.
Cons: The area is a residential suburb and doesn’t have anything of interest to offer - no nearby shops or restaurants and we had to catch an uber into town and was a pretty long drive. I wouldn’t be overjoyed by the location if we had been staying any longer. The pool is a bit small.
Pros: Diane & Sameera were very helpful and very willing to make it a comfortable staff. Zara the labrador is beyond gentle and we almost took her home!
Cons: Booked a room with queen bed but got two single beds :(
Pros: Clean, easy access, friendly staff, early check I
Cons: Please make it clear the room has single bed options only. At that room rate you can choose singles or king. Then if you want double you want people to upgrade and pay more. I have read this in the reviews before mine. Clearly this has happened before. Was not a big deal and single was fine for that night but in principle it should clearly state it is single only option at that price.

Pros: I did not have breakfast there but for me the location is excellent, very central. Quiet area. Dean and Michelle were very friendly and I immediately felt at home. The pool is great and I made time to cool off in it
Cons: On the Friday morning just after 7am the staff at the back were talking a bit too loud which I didn't like.
Pros: I liked that they have self cattering Their beds were very comfy and you get your privacy

Pros: Breakfast was fresh every morning, electric blanket was awesome, Staff amazing
Pros: The room was so beautiful including the linen and accessories.
Cons: Breakfast choices were not flexible
Pros: The location was great......close to the Parow Mall which is very convenient. The hosts, Vincent and Auriol made me feel very welcome. There was an issue with the door handle however this was resolved immediately.
Pros: Breakfast was not good . No variety just one menu. Nobody asks you on what you prefer just given the menu. One of the days the room was not made. When I returned the room bed had not been made
Cons: The breakfast
Pros: Environment and the facility
Cons: Knocking on the door when the bell was ringing unanswered.
With a stay at Sues B&B in Bothasig in Cape Town, you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Canal Walk Shopping Centre and Sunset Beach. Featured amenities include multilingual staff and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Location was good for me away from the hustle and bustle of the CBD
Cons: Booked this room for two of my relatives, purposefully booked a the family room with the two beds as they are estranged, was informed by the property that this would be extra despite having booked the room was asked to pay 50% of the booking price extra which I did, I now see this isn't posted anywhere on the properties policies, after a 2 day stay I was informed by the owner that the air conditioning had been used which was an additional charge despite her not telling my relatives that it couldn't be used she has also told booking.com customer service that they have used the shower twice a day which is against the drought laws when it's clearly not as it's 105 litres per person per day, I think it's a bad look to bleed customers dry for a room they have already paid for and then to lie to customer service.
Pros: The host was very lovely & friendly, the bed was very comfortable. Linen was clean, lovely view to the swimmingpool. Friendly, obedient dog.
