Pros: This newly built hotel features refreshing modern design with a responaible emphasis on energy efficienxy. Breakfast selection the best we have seen in 3 weeks of travel in southern Africa.
Pros: fair price 4 great service friendly staff great breakfast nicely furnished rooms cool eco pool
Pros: Breakfast was terrific! Good value for a one night stay.
Pros: I like the efforts of going green. The building was built in August 2013, so it is fairly new! The food was pretty good. The free shuttle transportation to and from the airport and waterfront was awesome. Most of the staff was friendly. Good bang for your buck for sure!
Cons: I didn't like the fact that breakfast was advertised as complimentary when I booked the hotel and the hotel charged me! Also, the staff wasn't helpful at times when I needed the Internet. They thought I was incompetent du cd their wifi wasn't working! I used the wifi the majority of the trip and they had some problems with it. I was very dissatisfied how they handled the situation.
Pros: Modern style Luxurious bed Stylish bathroom
Pros: Very close to airport with shuttle pick up. Also very nice staff and room was clean and comfortable. Highly recommend.
Pros: Traveling over 20 hrs it was great to have a Hotel that nice close to the airport. Shuttle was perfect. Carried our luggage and surfboard no problem. Breakfast...the manager comes to my wife, holds her hand and says"welcome". Who does that? Perfect.
Pros: The staff was very friendly including when we checked in at midnight. We loved the community art pieces throughout the hotel. The room was perfect! The bed was very comfortable and we loved the amount of light entering the room from the window. The breakfast was delicious. Touring the entire hotel and finding musical instruments to play, take in the green wall, the art, and the outdoor trail with outdoor gym was great! Next time I am jumping in the eco pool as it looked so inviting.
Cons: The coffee needs to be replaced. It was not good. May I suggest LaColombe?
Pros: This hotel is an excellent green design and keeps their sustainability practice visibly documented for guests, guiding us to be a part of the success of their platinum green status in their day to day operation. Hotel Verde exemplified the important standard that being sustainable does not detract from the comfort and beautiful design of the inside and outside of our Hotel experience. We were very impressed. (Big endorsement from my husband who is a Canadian 'Green' architect) We appreciated the airport shuttle and took the shuttle into Cape Town to enjoy the V&A, as well. Staff were all delightfully friendly, helpful and enthusiastic. Food and wine were also exceptional, with herbs and greens being grown on site, including in the 'living wall'. Well done, we will tell all our friends to stay with you.
Pros: perfect location near the airport with a free shuttle. Staff very helpful. Beautiful facilities and even free goodies in the minibar!
Cons: There is nothing negative to report.
Pros: Platinum LEED Rooms very modern and comfortable food was delicious very accommodating staff shuttle to airport shuttle to waterfront
Cons: Location was a bit inconvenient, but if you rent a car or use their shuttle it is not an issue.

Pros: Comfortable bed, great welcome, perfect overnight stop for a solo business traveller
Pros: The location by the airport was superb. The employees were friendly and very helpful.
Cons: The first room they booked us into smelled strongly of smoke, so we moved to another room.
Pros: Really enjoyed how close it was to the airport and the excellent WiFi. The buffet breakfast was delicious, but do note that there is an extra charge (~US $4.75). The staff was extremely helpful and very friendly.
Cons: There is no elevator, but the staff will help with your luggage if you need it (has four 50lbs bags + two hand luggage and the staff member insisted that he'd bring it all up stairs). Rooms are very small (especially if you have a lot of luggage).
Pros: It has all you need. Comfortable bed, clean, hot showers, TV with 6 channel;s or so, simple breakfast. Quick and easy
Pros: Road Lodge is less than 5 minutes drive to the airport so great for those that have an early morning flight and want to be close to the airport. The room is quite small and the bedding isn't inspiring. However, the shower/bathroom was good.
Pros: The hotel is very basic but the location is ideal. I needed to catch the first flight next day and only spent a couple of hours there. Everything was fine for me.
Cons: It's right next to the airport and the transfer only takes about a few minutes. but the transfer fee is as high as 30 rand. It might be because I was the only one using the transfer in that early morning. not very sure though.
