Pros: Amazing staff. Great room (received upgrade when we arrived). Great location, attention to detail etc, etc, etc.
Cons: Absolutely nothing! My husband's comment was 'this B & B sets the standards for the others'.

Pros: Everything. The room was very nice, warm and comfortable. The staff was friendly and very accomodating. The breakfast were delicious. One of the best Inns we have stayed at.
When visiting Stockbridge, The Inn at Stockbridge is a great choice to consider. For a bit of exercise, you can visit the fitness center or go for a swim in the outdoor pool. Other highlights at this upscale bed & breakfast include a terrace and a garden, and rooms offer flat-screen TVs and premium bedding.
Closest B&B Inn to the Norman Rockwell and Chesterwood Museums at Stockbridge, centrally located to all Berkshire attractions. Nestled high up on 4 private acres with lush landscape, offering top quality B&B lodging accommodations. Each of our luxury B&B Inn guest suites is tastefully appointed with private bath en suite, full bath amenities including soft cotton robes, and gourmet country style breakfast served daily. At the Stockbridge Country Inn, our goal is to provide a warm and friendly atmosphere where you can relax and feel like you are in your home away from home in the Berkshires.
Pros: The innkeepers provided a small bottle of wine as a welcoming gift, there is an electric fireplace for ambience and you can eat the provided breakfast in your room. There are games and movies available and the innkeeper was very informative. Also they provide robes, have a fridge, toaster oven and microwave in the room. Ice is in the freezer. The woman who is part of the cleaning staff (Kim I believe) was very nice when we were leaving. Unfortunately my elderly mom was ill at 2:00pm the night before from eating fried food and I cleaned up as best I could. Kim was very sweet and expressed her concern and said not to worry about anything. Can't say enough about the owners and staff. They are there to meet your needs and ensure that you enjoy your stay.
Cons: Only suggestions would be to have a wall mirror in the living area so when one guest was in the bathroom the other could get ready outside. Little plates would have been nice for our bagels, quiche and other baked goods. Not major inconveniences by any means.
Pros: From the moment we arrived at the Shaker Mill Inn we instantly felt at home. We walked into our room and the lights were on, music was playing, the electric fire place was on, and there was wine, compliments of the owners. The room was extremely clean and well-kept and full of little personal touches. We stayed for two nights and went skiing at Catamount during the day. It was just a half hour drive from Catamount and worked out for us very well.
Cons: Our room wasn't completely modern and updated, but what it lacked in updates, it made up for in cleanliness.
Pros: It is so easy to be a guest at the Red Lion Inn. The staff are so willing to make your stay comfortable, the food is good and there is plenty to do and enjoy.
Pros: We stayed in Stevens House. The rooms were very nice. We enjoyed the parlor with fireplace and big screen. The kitchenette was great and had everything we needed . The location is good for a nice walk around town or a game of tennis.
Cons: The lack of a breakfast option. There really aren't many alternatives in the town either. We didn't have children along , but there isn't much for them to do in town IMO.
Pros: We had come specifically to attend programs at Tanglewood & maybe some things extra. We went to the Norman Rockwell Museum and two galleries nearby. We had coffee & breakfast in, picnic lunches, and dinners at the Inn. The meal food & service are excellent & my companion has food allergies. The swimming pool was calming and beautiful, even for my quick morning swim in a light rain. All the staff were so friendly and accommodating. The frosting was Simon = the beautiful, big cat that roams about the Inn.
Cons: We were in Steves' House, not the primary inn. It turned out to be a delight. It is a half block away. There was a small, but fully efficient kitchen, with ice machine & coffee maker. The tennis courts were across the street. I grew up less than 45 minutes away, but hadn't stayed for at least 20 years. Old things can get even better with time.We will definitely return as it is a pleasant & easy drive from the New York City metro area, well maybe not in a January snow storm, but I have no doubt that there would be a smiling face at the front desk when we arrive.
Dont forget your suits! Enjoy our heated outdoor pool and hot tub (surrounded by a radiant-heated stone patio).
Pros: Nice clean bb for the price. Very easy access to Tanglewood
Cons: There is a little road noise from the highway
Enjoy your visit to Stockbridge with a stay at Conroy's B&B. For a workout, you can visit the outdoor tennis court or go for a morning swim at the outdoor pool. A spa tub and a garden are other highlights, and all rooms offer bathrobes and free WiFi.
Pros: Beautiful view and surrounding area, really nice owners who gave advice on where to go in the area and how to get there. They left us brownies, chocolate, offered movies and upgraded us a second room. Will definitely be back, thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The Cottage B&B is a great choice for a stay in Stockbridge. You'll have free perks like WiFi and self parking. Rooms feature bonuses like refrigerators and microwaves, along with patios and living rooms.
Pros: clean, cheap, basic, no frills, but not needed if youre just there to sleep, shower, etc.
Pros: The staff were excellent, calling us via phone in our room to ensure all was well and then responding immediately to a question we had. Great location and easy access to several gems of towns. Lovely view nestled in the Berkshires. Big room and quiet surroundings. Had a variety of cable channels. Good deal for money!
Cons: The rooms are pretty dated and the bathroom fixtures were a bit quirky. The tub and sink are dated and looks aged.
Pros: Good location for our needs, good price.
Cons: No breakfast as advertised.Just coffee and juice.
