The lock on the door didn’t work, homeless people hanging around outside leaving their trash land in the in the parking lot. It wasn’t a very good experience.
Staff is very friendly and professional no problems there. But, my husband and I had to take cold showers because there was no hot water. I called to inquire about the issue and front desk said they had maintenance people on it but front desk also told me that this happens when too many people shower at the same time. In my opinion this should not be an issue a paying customer has to worry about when staying at a hotel where there will be many people showering at the same time. You can do better than this Ramada, guess I will have to spend my money elsewhere next time I am out of town.
Pros. Comfortable convenient
Cons. Old no breakfast and not very clean
Pros. Great location to be near Williams Az. and the Grand Canyon.
Cons. Not a thing
Pros. Room was clean, check in was easy.
Cons. The main phone number for the hotel was not working. We tried for over 3 hours (from multiple phones and locations) to let them know we were running late and it just rang and rang. When I checked in, the clerk said the phone hadn't rang all evening and that another guest had said the same thing. I even had my daughter try to call from Phoenix since I thought it might be cell phone issues.
Pros. Nothing!
Cons. We had to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances and they would not give us a refund! So we were charged for a room we did not use. We are still planning on going to the area but will definitely find a different hotel.
Pros. Don't know.
Cons. Ramada would not cancel our reservation because we called 10 minutes past the 24 hour cancellation period. Kayak called Ramada immediately but was told to "call back. We are very busy". When Kayak called back, they were told no refund. Our reason for cancelling was weather related. Snow! Bad service!
Pros. Affordable rate was the highlight.
Cons. The restaurant was being renovated; options for food were inconvenient.
Pros. Williams is a very interesting place ... Take advantage of the Grand Canyon-"CENTRIC" amenities that it offers ... The hotel is very adequate ... and as a reasonably priced accommodation, your Grand Canyon trip can only benefit
Cons. Not a fan of the 2nd story room ... The back left wing of the hotel has no elevator ... I had to "lug" the "luggage" up 2 flights of stairs ... UGH!
Pros. The staff were very pleasant The bed was comfortable
Cons. It was a little on the dirty side , carpet , bathroom floor. For the price I was expecting better
