5.4 Okay
Pros: The room was clean and a good standard.
Cons: We stay at RI a lot and the breakfast wasn't as nice as usual. At checkin our keypasses didn't program and the checkin person felt he had to test it rather than just fix it by giving us newly programmed passes. This caused a lot of unnecessary back and forth to the back door and I found it awkward. We missed having a pool in the hotel. Maybe there is space for just a hot tub?
6.0 Good
Pros: It's proximity to the hospital
Cons: The rooms were not clean. The silverware in the drawer had food on it. THe room thermostat was 50 degrees when we got there. When we arrived, the front desk clerk was on the phone in our face for 5 minutes with no indication of noticing us.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff: nice breakfast buffet; comfortable bed.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Our hotel room was immaculate and spacious. The staff was very courteous as well.

7.5 Good
Pros: Been 2 years since I have been there. Love your total makeover
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Room was very modern and hotel was very clean. The staff was helpful with check in, check out, and need at different times. We had been traveling for 10 days by the time we arrived, so having washing machines to use was also very helpful. Also, having the grocery store next door helped.
Cons: A little drive to Hanover/Dartmouth. The roads around the property were a bit beat, but usable. Aside from the grocery store and Mexican Rest. next door, there was little else around.
9.3 Excellent

Cons: breakfast was average

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean, spacious room. Nice breakfast seating area, even had a table with a coloring station for kids! King suite was very large! Great location for spending a long weekend in Woodstock, Hanover, Quechee region. Easy driving everywhere. Fantastic!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It is a great location and absolutely functional. The staff are eager to make sure you feel taken care of.
Cons: Nothing at all. I have stayed in some 15 Holiday Inns in US in the last 2 years and find the Break Fast boring. But that is because I am an Asian and can not survive on Cin. Rolls, Cereals for too long.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Decent hotel, well located at the intersection of I-89 and I-91. The King Room was enormous, it was actually a suite with the size of an apartment. Very comfortable bed, we slept very well. Decent free breakfast for this type of hotel, obviously nothing fancy (far from that) but they have a very acceptable variety of items. Overall, very good value for the price we paid.
Cons: Nothing. I mean otherwise it would have had to be more expensive. Hard to criticize considering the price, no significant flaws.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved how friendly the staff was, they were extremely helpful with any questions I had, they even helped us get an Uber when we were unable to. We had a slight mix up with the room when we first arrived but Elisha Moody was able to find a solution and get it fixed right away and always had a smile during that process, I really appreciate her. The breakfast was good every morning and their coffee has been the best hotel coffee I’ve ever had. And they hands down have the best staff I’ve ever come in contact with at any establishment, they make you feel like you’ve known them forever.
Cons: N/A
8.8 Excellent

9.5 Excellent
Pros: it was fine , should be more fruit opt.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was spacious, the coffee table that separated and came up higher was great for my elderly husband. I found the desk with the good lighting a real plus. Even though we traveled for a wedding I had some work to complete also. Eve was an exceptional manager meeting our needs. Angel was a pleasure at check in. Her knowledge was patience was a welcome surprise! She is a definite asset to your team! Roberta was very friendly and sincere as she toke time to speak to all the guests while keeping the breakfast area very clean and well stocked!
5.5 Okay
Pros: Food was ok and the underground parking
Cons: My room was not cleaned for 2 days I had to go down to the front desk to ask to get it cleaned. I thought I was booking a room with a stove and refrigerator because the picture showed that but it was a room with a little refrigerator, sink and microwave.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great stay. Nice self-service breakfast, good pool, nice lounge area with 24h coffee station. Great service too!
7.5 Good
Pros: The location was perfect for our trip between Burlington, VT and Portsmouth, NH. Easy access to hotel with safe secure parking. Only concern ( fine )was there are opaque roller shades in our eastern facing room so we were greeted with a bright eyed sun rise at 5:45 this morning. Not sure if there were supposed to be darkening shades in the room. No problem though for Holiday Inn Express White River Junction offered a relaxing stay for a good value.
Cons: Room darkening shades for those that want to sleep in a bit.
8.8 Excellent
Cons: The WiFi took a while to Get in one of our phones butnothwr than that a very nice experience

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was great. The place was packed and the workers really did a great job staying on top of things. Give them a raise!
6.2 Good
Pros: Great location across from DHMC. Friendly staff.
Cons: Beds and pillows to firm for my liking. Bathroom fan hummed all night.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Was very comforrable. Housekeeping staff could have been better, and they kept an item I left there by accident, even if I left a decent tip, but the front desk was very helpful, for the most part. Comcast cable was a pain to ger the hang of.
Cons: Bistro was pretty convenient. But I told them the extra sea salr added to the pot pie was too much. lol
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable, clean room. Good location.
Cons: I have a Tesla vehicle and had to drive 7 miles to the nearest charging station. I would appreciate having a charging station for Tesla or even a slower charging station like Charge Point at the Marriott! This would also be a draw for other Electrical Vehicle owners.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Enjoyed talking to the woman who was working the bar last night and this am - tho unfortunately I don’t remember her name. She was very kind and sociable
8.0 Excellent
Pros: It was a nice place and the staff was nice.
Cons: We paid more for the room with breakfast, but they only gave us 2 vouchers even though there were three of us in the group
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable bed, lots of towels, etc, grab bars in shower, coffee maker and fridge avaialable.
Cons: The temperature gauge was hard to calibrate and the fan going on an off all night was annoying.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: It was very good.... Tim was a great help when my daughter lost the battery pak to her camera.
Cons: Nothing stands out...
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel. Cookies at 17:00. There is a pool and a gym at the hotel. A lot of parking and overall a good vibe. NOTE - the breakfast is not a Buffet. You get a coupon for Starbucks (inside the hotel) and you get coffee and one dish (eggs, toast, etc.). Very good breakfast. I gave 5* on location, but I don't really know what is around.
Cons: Nothing
6.8 Good
Pros: Location, comfortable
Cons: Thought the TV placement in rm 230 was odd. You should be able to change the channel and view it from the left and right side of the bed.
7.5 Good
Pros: The staff was pleasant and courteous even the maintenance guys that were working on changing all the keys on the floor I was on.
Cons: The breakfast is not well thought out. You have to order from a Starbucks-like counter and it can get really backed up. I had purchased breakfast included with the room, but the first day my son waited 40 minutes for food. Also , it’s the only coffee in the building and the hours are quite limited.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very modern and roomy rooms
Cons: Nothing

8.8 Excellent
Pros: I indicated on reservation that my husband is disabled. Our room was set up wonderfully for him. Multiple handrails in bath, wide doors, lots of room. The only improvement would be at least one chair with arms. The chairs made it very difficult for him to get up. Good experience overall.

Pros: The room was spacious. Loved the sofa. Everything was pristine!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location very convenient and love a full size refrigerator and dishes/cooking utensils for extended stay.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean room and bathroom. Bed was comfortable and sheets are fresh and clean.
Cons: Housekeeping was not able to clean our room, we had arrived back from our event at 5pm and was tired. We needed to relax before the evening events. They should ask at the front desk what would be the ideal time for cleaning and see if this can be worked out with the guests. Front desk staff also needs more training with being more welcoming. They were not rude, they just all didn't seem excited to represent the element brand.
3.3 Mediocre
Cons: They never came in to clean room, make beds. Had to call 3 times for towels, plus since never came in room, had call for tissues. The front desk i had a convert with and come back litteraly ten minutes later and she said couldn’t do what i had just asked, she forgot and already charged the one credit card.

Pros: Location was very convenient
Cons: No one was at the front desk when I showed up, waited for 10 to 15 minutes then finally called the front desk number to get someone to come out. She seemed annoyed that I did that.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nobody informed us that breakfast was only til 9am
Cons: That we werent able to have breakfast
4.3 Okay
Cons: Bedsheets were stained, bathtub was dirty and the room smelled of smoke upon arrival
6.3 Good
Cons: - NO WiFi, not even in the morning downstairs at breakfast !! - only two rooms booked on the whole floor and they were booked side by side which meant that THEIR TV was on the other side of the wall at the head of MY bed, and the walls are NOT sound-proof; I almost asked to be moved to another room
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The gentleman in charge of breakfast did a fantastic job of keeping it clean, and serving with a smile. excellent employee!!!!!! The pool area was kept clean. The room was neat, and attended to daily.
8.3 Excellent

Pros: Location
Cons: Bed was too firm
8.0 Excellent
Pros: I like how quiet it was. The bed were pretty comfortable. We would stay again for sure.
Cons: The room was a bit cold but that was no big deal.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: The lobby area, pool and patio area were nice.
Cons: The hall and room smelled highly like mildew, they had fans and dehumidifiers running, but I'm quite sure black mold was growing. One hallway smelled so bad it made you gag as you ran through it. There was trash in the drawers in the room and behind the end table. Not to mention the mildew growing in the hotel information binder. The carpet felt damp and the window appeared to be growing mold. The air sponge thing in the bathroom was gross looking. I would not ever stay there again.
5.8 Okay
Cons: did not have time for breakfast. room 112 needs new carpet, bathroom okay toilet too low and faucet spout could be extended. air conditioner too loud maybe needs replacement. didn't use due to noiseyness.
6.8 Good
Pros: The Fireside Inn is a motel, so it is easy to bring its own food and drinks from outside when needed. I hae particularly appreciated the fact to have washing machine and a dryer available.
Cons: 2 fire alarms in 5 days!! One for carbon monoxyde, unknown reason for the other.
7.0 Good
Pros: Hot tub
Cons: Breakfast could have been way better
6.8 Good
Pros: The property was showing some age but for the most part was clean. The lobby was very open and welcoming and the breakfast was good
Cons: The kitchen and bar were closed the evening we were there and our room was clean but ready for some work
8.8 Excellent
Pros: All of The above
Cons: The staff where exceptional the young man is who welcomed us was very helpful and the woman was very who took care of the entire restaurant herself from sitting to clean up was a gem
7.0 Good
Pros: I love the are behind the lobby - it is interesting and a nice departure from the average
Cons: The rooms are dated (doesn't bother me), but the refrigerator leaked, leaving a wet carpet and the room smelled a little moldy (not alot or I would have had to leave due to mold allergy).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The facilities are beautiful and all the staff was super friendly, they even let us check in at ~2am in the morning.
Cons: We stayed only for one night and I can't think of something that I didn't like.
4.3 Okay
Pros: The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The highlight of our stay was seeing the turtles in the koi pond.
Cons: The hotel is located in the back parking lot of a strip mall. We almost turned around and left as soon as we drove up to it. The hotel hasn't been remodeled since I'd say the 70's. Wallpaper peeling off, doors stuck, pool and hot tub water was yellow and cloudy, crumbs in the dresser drawers. The free breakfast was bland and tasteless. I was very dissatisfied with the accommodations and would not recommend this hotel to anyone. A complete waste of our hard earned $.
5.0 Okay
Cons: The A/C was not working properly, the beds were so uncomfortable it was like sleeping on a slab of rock, kids partying outside my door all night. DEFINITELY not worth $138 nightly rate!

2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Ease of check-in, basic, clean rooms

5.0 Okay
Cons: Reservation was not saved, construction ongoing throughout the facility, dust and mess everywhere.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very convenient location, near MHMC and Dartmouth College with easy access from I-89. very clean.
Cons: The facility is starting to feel a little shopworn and threadbare. The breakfast area is small and literally in the lobby.
6.3 Good
Pros: There was a good selection at breakfast. The room was clean but painters had gotten paint on the carpet. The Inn was under construction.
Cons: I chose a room handicap accessable but it was closed off due to renovations so I ended up having to climb the stairs with two bad knees.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was friendly and helpful. Upgraded room was really nice with a refrigerator and extra space.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Newly renovated. Everything was neat and clean. Bedding appeared new. Room nicely equipped. The staff was very accommodating, moved us to another room immediately when we asked as the group above us was loud.
Cons: A swimming pool would have been nice.
4.5 Okay
Pros: The bed was comfortable and the room was large. The location met our needs.
Cons: This was not a Days Inn anymore. It was in the process of converting to a Quality Inn but had not completed the conversion. Quality Inn's website does not show this location opening until August 2019.The overall area was a mess. Fire and Smoke detectors were hanging from the wall, piles of construction waste (furniture) were stacked in the parking lot. While the hall immediately in front of the room had new carpeting; the stairs required to ascend to the second floor were dirty. The toilet backed up and the staff was unable to find a plunger. The breakfast was marginal at best.
7.5 Good
Pros: Motels was fine a bit strange being woke up in the middle of the night by the SWAT team...good story to tell I guess
7.0 Good
Pros: Recently renovated but not everything is new. Better breakfast items but you are paying via higher room costs. Entire property is nonsmoking. Learned there is a “hospital “ rate if we had called the Inn directly, which is a reduced rate. Since we are here for a relative at Dartmouth Hitchcock, this is good to know for the future.
Cons: First room we were given had strong smoke odor so asked for new room. (Workers on renovation probably stayed in that room.) Ceilings and walls are thin. The upstairs room was noisy just from person walking about. Weekend rate is high but less expensive than most in Hanover area.
6.8 Good
Pros: nice staff
Cons: Breakfast was poor... worse than similar priced hotels
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was east to find. Facility appeared newly renovated; very clean, staff friendly and helpful.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Breakfast was good, varied, and plentiful.
Cons: Jerks standing out in the hall all night talking at the top of their voices. Took management forever to do something.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owner was at the front desk and allowed me to check in 3 hours early. Very close to the hospital and the price was right.

Featured amenities include a business center, express check-out, and complimentary newspapers in the lobby. Free self parking is available onsite.
7.5 Good
Pros: Location and price was better than other options
Cons: Breakfast was just cereal and waffles. No fruit and the coffee was not good.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The location was good. The fridge and microwave were a big plus for me. I didn't try breakfast because of my schedule; I made coffee in my room.
Cons: On the first night felt some kind of sand/crumbs in my feet area. First, I didn't pay much attention and just tried to move my legs away (I was exhausted). But it didn't help, so I got up and checked: there were quite a few black dots there (not sure what they were) + a long curly black hair - definitely not mine. I covered my bed with a sheet from the next bed, it looked clean enough so that I could get back to sleep. It was pretty expensive ($303 for 2 nights including taxes) so I expected it to be at least clean enough. Also, the room was rather crowded, since it had 2 beds. There was almost not space for a chair at the table. 2 people would have hard time moving around.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The nice room and breakfast
Cons: For me there was nothing not to like
5.8 Okay
Pros: Bed was comfortable. Linens were clean. Price was too high for what you got, but good for an overpriced area.
Cons: Room was cramped. Shower was tiny and water temperature varied from ice cold to scalding and back again in a matter of seconds. Found mold in the shower and grunge of some sort in the toilet and sink drain. Breakfast was sparse and waffle batter appeared to be watered down.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff and beautiful view.
Cons: A little old but still charming.
6.3 Good
Pros: The view of the river , front desk was friendly
Cons: Room was dated, torn wall coverings, dust on fixtures. Bed too hard, room was hot when we arrived.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: It was clean and comfortable for the price. My son loved the large TV and ESPN which we do not have at home. The place was quiet and well managed. Nice complementary breakfast. The staff were very nice
Cons: Off the beaten path. Carpet not the newest.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: For us, it was a convenient place to stay. Quiet, had all basic necessities, clean. Continental breakfast was more than expected. Easy ride to stores, eateries and scenic areas.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice view of the river~
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The bed and ac were great.
Cons: There wasn't much for the continental breakfast. The mix for the waffle maker was runny, and not usable. Only choice for bread was a bagel. Not my idea of a good continental breakfast.
7.5 Good
Pros: Nonsmoking room didn’t smell of smoke. Dated but clean. Waffle iron in breakfast area! Nice view of the Connecticut R. out the back.
Cons: Nothing really. Need a place close to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center that wasn’t too costly.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful clean room
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Was being remodeled beautiful. The host at the desk was gracious and caring. Would stay again if we passed through
6.3 Good
Pros: It was under construction, so it is hard to answer that question.
Cons: Was under construction so hard to answer question
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was great.
Cons: Parking space was very limited. Less than visitors capacity.
6.3 Good
Pros: Food was ok. Room had been remodeled - nice bathroom with great lighting. Bed was comfortable.
Cons: There was some shabby workmanship in sink and an electrical outlet & cover. An alarm sounded in a neighboring room for a very very long time. Elevator was quite dirty - carpet needed to be vacuumed.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This place had some bad reviews that had me worried. However the refurbished floor was wonderful. Great bathroom. Clean and brand new seeming. Air conditioning was quietest I’ve experienced from a wall unit. Aged elevator should be upgraded cosmetically so as not to detract from the wonderful refurbishment. Staffed by owning family, which is a plus for service and desire to help. Don’t believe older bad reviews. Another plus location off main road, but really close to restaurants and shopping.
Cons: Elevator cosmetics.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing other than location because I needed to stay in the area but if I could do it over I wouldn’t stay here again.
Cons: The room was disgusting the bed wasn’t clean. It had makeup stains on the pillows. The fridge had hair in it. The shower and bathroom were filthy. The microwave was discussing and looked like it had never been cleaned. The tables and the remote was sticky. I have pictures of everything. This was the worst stay in a hotel I’ve ever experienced. Pictures on website are very deceiving.
5.8 Okay
Pros: LOCATION
Cons: While the hotel was in renovation, the new room had a sink which would not drain as no release valve in sink, no blackout curtains. The refrigerator was noisy all night, the wall were porous to TV's in adjacent rooms and the pool while a distance away from the hotel did not have clear water. As per web site breakfast starts at 5pm, in reality it was 6 or 6:30am.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Quiet clean convenient location friendly staff.
Cons: No complaints
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was all good. Desk clerk was especially terrific.
Cons: No complaints.
7.5 Good
Pros: The room was recently remodeled. However, the rest of the hotel was under renovation. We walked through dusty hallways to get to the lobby. The hotel will be beautiful once the renovation is complete.

4.0 Okay
Pros: Staff were more than accommodating. Also breakfast was pretty decent
Cons: Cleanliness was terrible. Bathroom looked like it had not even been cleaned. Worth about $----- a night at most
6.3 Good
Pros: The staff were great & the breakfast was great too.
Cons: Unfortuneately the clientele were the real downside. I was travelling alone so I was aware of those around me. There were some scary folks in the room next to mine that were smokong right outside the door. Lots of people were loitering in there room doorways.
7.0 Good
Pros: It's nothing special - no frills whatsoever, but for the rate and for what it is, it was very good. Staff were friendly, rooms were clean and in good repair.
Cons: Shower head is set to a height ideal for those under 5'. I'm 6'3".
8.8 Excellent
Pros: People very helpful. Great location.
Cons: Needed a handicap room but they only have room with 1 bed. We need ,2 beds. Beds were a little hard.
7.0 Good
Pros: The location was good. The room itself was not bad. The shower was good. It was near shopping, tourist attractions and many restaurants.
Cons: Breakfast was very small and should have more selection. Room was way upstairs to the back with a rickety landing that felt unsafe. The staff did not inform me of parking close to the room so I had to lug two suitcases half way across the building. The price did not seem worth it for the accommodations.
5.5 Okay
Cons: For a smoke free it reeked of smoke.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: The property location was close to Dartmouth. The hotel was dirty, there were many people hanging outside the property smoking, drinking alcohol and smoking pot in plain sight. As soon as we got to our room I called the front desk and cancelled the next night which we had reserved. I still haven't gotten my refund. Both my daughter and I felt unsafe and grossed out...
Cons: Everything
10.0 Excellent
Pros: everything was very good
Cons: we would have preferred the invalid room
8.3 Excellent
Pros: There were no problems about having the dog. Restaurants close and good. Not fancy, but met our needs for a good price.
Cons: The door was somewhat damaged, but worked.
5.0 Okay
Cons: No way to lock the window. Only a stick of wood jammed in the runner
7.5 Good
Pros: Nice quiet location. Friendly staff. Decent breakfast.
Cons: People hanging around out back.
7.5 Good
Pros: I was told if you don't have anything good don't say --------
