Clean but light on toiletries. I did really enjoy the relaxing screensaver on the TV after a long trip. Great deal for someone just looking for a place to stay, get up and go. Seems popular with flight crews. I also liked that the hot water for tea has a separate source and is untainted by coffee. That is a rarity in the hotel breakfast bars. In fact, given a choice of hotels for another night, I came back. I hate it when the tea water tastes like coffee.
Convenient shuttle to and from the airport. There were stains on the bedding. And a hotel employee was banging on my door at 6:30am and before I could even get up she used her key and started letting herself in! Luckily the latch was on and she couldn't open the door, and she finally yelled 'oops, wrong room. Sorry.' It was awful.
Hotel efficiently set up for the traveler. Older but well maintained. (have stayed at several other hotels in the area-- of comparable price but not of equal quality) Liked that there was an actual wall thermostat to control heat/cool, the remote had a guide button, their computer had shortcuts to easily print out boarding passes, it was clean behind the bed/ bedside tables!, ..... Re breakfast: wish the hotels would use paper plates/cups and have more wholesome wholegrain breakfast items.
Good location, staff was friendly and helpful Room was dated. Sink had cracks, floor tiles terribly worn. Breakfast normally is decent in LaQuintas, but today waffle batter had a sour taste
A good balance breakfast. Punctual shuttle to airport. Comfortable bed.Good shower water pressure. Booked a non smoking room, and got a non smoking room on a smoking floor. Assured by desk clerk that the room would not have a smoke smell. Wrong. A non-smoking room on a floor of smoking rooms and hallway is going to smell like tabacco smoke. While the offer was for a non-smoking room, I had no choice but to accept the reservation. However, I find it a bit deceiving not to fully explain/disclosed that a non-smoking room is on smoking floor until upon arrival. Due to this experience, I will not recommend La Quita.
Clean and comfortable
Great value. location
Great value. Got upgraded to a suite. Breakfast above average. I found the mattress uncommonly soft.
If you need to stay close to the Hartford-Bradley airport this is the place to stay. They have a goof breakfast and free transportation to and from the airport including the rental car facilities. Great value. Nothing.
The staff was so attentive and eager to please but not overbearing. They treating us with such respect and help me out when I needed it. Also saw them doing the same for all the other guests. I liked everything
Because we booked on "Bookaroom" we got charged $60.00 more. Call them directly - don't use kayak or an online
Clean, great atmosphere, and convenient amenities. Fairly quiet considering it is near the airport. Ice machine on our floor was out of order as well as one of the elevators. Shower door in our room did not seal shut all the way, resulting in water all over bathroom floor. The woman at the front desk told us to use our towel to dry it up and had new dry towels brought to us.
Loved the spacious and thoughtful layout of the rooms, the cleanliness, and the amenities.
Just the location The appearance, the entrance to the hotel didn't lock. The hotel is renovating so 65% of the room were left open and dark. I will not be going back to this hotel.
DAYS INN IS A VERY NICE HOTELS AND I WILL GO BACK. NICE HOTELS.
Clean fresh smelling room with comfortable bed Hall way carpet needs changing
The staff was courteous, the rooms were very clean, and the location was central to a variety of attractions. It's suited my needs and my budget extremely well. The room had a bad smell upon entering, so we were forced to use body spray to freshen it up until we could get room deodorizer from the housekeeping staff. Also, the pillows were small and hard, so I would recommend bringing your own if possible. Other than that, I had absolutely no complaints about the room, the staff, or the amenities.
We had a last minute request (late check out) and they were very kind and willing to accommodate us.
this stay was due to my daughter and I taking my mom to the airport. Upon check in the front desk attendant was rude, very unfriendly. We asked what time the shuttle would come and he asked when my moms flight would leave. When we said 5, he stated arguing saying no flight leaves at that time. The lobby was so loud from the live music. Between that and the attendant arguing I wanted to just leave but I had already paid for the room online. Front desk rudeness Loud live music at 1am Bathroom needs updated Mattress not comfortable, sheets itchy
Walls are way too thin! Lost a lot of sleep because of a drunken wedding party two nights in a row! No rooms available to switch. If the hotel puts up with a crowd of people in a room like that, not the place I wa t to stay for business travel in the future. I make this trip annually and there are two other hotels right on top of it.
I was happy with the facilities at the Hilton Garden Inn, nice and clean for all the time we were there, but we only really slept there. What I was floored by, was the response of Timothy Grant, the Director of Sales, when I told him that I had forgotten my suit jacket at home and was going to a meeting... Tim actually gave me the jacket off of his back and offered it to me! This is the kind of over and above personal service that you just don't ever see! Keep hiring people like Tim, he truly cares about his guests! Nothing
After my flight was unexpectedly canceled, I needed to find a place to stay that was near the airport and offered services like shuttle rides and had a restaurant. The Hilton Garden Inn fit the bill. My room was comfortable and reasonably priced and my dinner in the hotel restaurant was excellent. I felt that the pool area didn't really warrant the title "spa", but it was still a nice area, overall. I also wish that the convenience store are had offered more than just food.
friendly and helpful staff; good service.
Price No breakfast
Excellent service. Very nice and clean hotel. The hotel didn't have my reservation when I arrived. I called Kayak and after about 15 minutes on the phone was able to straighten things out. No apologies from kayak, which was disappointing.. But the situation at the desk was handled very well.
Staff had great attitude. It was a holiday evening and I encountered no sour pusses! Beds were so comfortable!. Will return. Ants in pool area. According to night staff, nothing available to address the problem. Annoying, but not enough to ed our swim time.
Representative at the front desk was professional and polite. The fire alarm was set as a result of some inconsiderate person or persons smoking cigarettes in the hallway. Everyone had to evacuate the building while wfd investigated. The hotel management did not offer patrons any discounts as a result of this interruption. I do not know whether or not I would stay at this hotel again.
The gym (free headphones provided). The location was close to the highway. Outdated hotel. Stayed at a Double tree in Binghamton NY 2 weeks before, and for spoiled by the ultra-modern facilities there..this hotel needs serious updating.
The staff was extremely friendly, and very efficient. The bed in my room was a little "saggy".
Free continental breakfast would have been great. And the pool should have been open after we got back from the fair. I would have slept better.
No hot tub AC didn't work Key cards didn't want to work about 50% of the time
They claimed that they had not received the reservation information from Bookings.com. After a phone call to Bookings.com, they finally gave me a handicapped room as that was the only room available. The price of the room was exhorbitant for the level of quality.
Good place to sit down relax and wait for your flight and stay in the hotel and grab a bite to eat was perfect for my situation waiting for my flight.
The quality of the room for the price
Very clean and comfortable I had to catch an early shuttle (5:30am) to airport and complimentary breakfast was not set up yet
Big comfortable beds, clean rooms, wonderful staff, great rates
Location. Very Dirty. Rude staff. The floor of the hotel room was wet and sticky.
Very clean and bed very comfortable. Great deal for the price.

dull, dirty, musty etc. not a good choice
The Location, easy access on an off the highway !! The Non-smoking rooms are too close to the smoking rooms, You can smell the smoke in the room ., Poor Wifi service in the rooms !!
Nothing, it was a horrible experience Filthy, broken, tobacco and marijuana smoking all over Bed bugs, etc It was a nightmare and on top they charged me $50.00 for having my service dog Everything wrong about your description of this hotel from hell A one star if anything to rate it
Nothing!! Hotel should be rated a 1 star, as it time for this hotel to renovate!! This was not one of the chains listed on the web site and falls below an economy stay hotel!! Have gotten much better hotels for the price!!
nothing...... I disliked the smell. I dislike the mannerism of the Manager. The service was absolutely bad. I wish this on no One. I am in the process of getting my Refund.......

The lobby and the staff were pleasant and helpful. The room had a terrible smell that I could not endure. It smelled like a lot of disinfectant had been used to cover up smoke and other smells. It was awful. The room didn't seem clean at all.
Smells of smoking everywhere. People sitting outside non-smoking rooms smoking. Cig butts scattered around everywhere. Poor maintenance. Fixtures and doors not working. Wall paper peeling off or coming apart. Carpet not cleaned in years.
I think that best part of the weekend trip was finding a bar in the lobby. The other guests, loud and obnoxious
This hotel has 24 hour shuttle (free) to and from the airport. It is basic, cheap lodging with average ambiance for what it is. The desk staff is very welcoming. If you don't have a car you need to know not much is in the vicinity - McDonalds was about it.
24-hour airport shuttle bus service breakfast
Proximity to Bradley Airport; its price; the free shuttle to and from airport; ability to leave my car for four days at $6. a day. Nothing disturbed me. The staff was courteous and helpful. The facility is not especially attractive but it is a bargain.
We were thankful to have a complimentary breakfast each morning, and coffee available at all times.
close to airport, easy to get to on shuttle bed was too soft. you sank into it and had trouble moving and rolling over
It was very comfortable. Clean, homey. Close to the entrance and breakfast room. Staff were charming. The fast track picked me up within minutes and took me to the convenient restaurant.
Close to Bradley Airport and convenient affordable parking.
The hotel was a moderized hotel that had a comfortable at home feeling. I traveled as a single woman with heavy luggage. They worked to get me a first floor room (there is no elevator). Airport pickup was very efficient (I left at 5:00 a.m.) The heating system in the room was faulty. It took 4 hours to be warm.
Accessibility to Bradley International Airport Liked the convenience and everything about the hotel.
I really enjoyed how they had a complimentary breakfast and wifi. The staff is very friendly and made checking in and out easier. They also were courteous and helpful. I really enjoyed my stay. I felt that the rooms were a little outdated and could have been a little cleaner. They were by no means dirty but I felt there was some upgrading or refreshing needed.
The staff were very friendly and accommodating, parking was convenient, and airport access was great. The free breakfast was an awesome treat.
The front desk employees were very helpful. The room was clean, neat and comfortable. We couldn't ask for more.
Clean, neat, and very responsive staff. A pleasure to stay there
The room was pretty standard, nothing like what some of the past Courtyard hotels have been. Everything was fine, nothing special. Staff was great. What you advertise as a 'restaurant' is nothing more than a Starbuck's concession. If I'd realized that I would have not bothered with breakfast.
Staff was friendly. 1. No phone in the room 2. No hangers in the room 3. Bed had no comforter 4. Ironing board broken 5. Was told that hotel is under new management. That thing will be better after new changes.
Easy access from parking lot Shower curtain was ripped and tiles on ceiling were loose
Easy to book online Funky smells, cheap bedding and furnishings, pathetically lousy breakfast with no hot water, old bread and muffins, and watery juice
The front desk attendant was a very polite and helpful man. Thiis facility is old, run down, and doesn't even feel safe. The lock on our room had been broken and did not look solid after the repair. The tiles on the ceiling were stained and mismatched after repair attempts. The grout in the bathroom was really gross. The carpet was so icky i wouldn't put a bare foot on it. It was truly reminiscent of an crack hotel or a sad, inner-city residence hotel for really poor folks. We took one good look around the room and decided we couldn't sleep there -- even though it was midnight!
It was very quiet. No disturbances from staff, or other guests. The side doors to the outside had no way of locking, so anyone from outside could wander in at any time. The key card stopped working repeatedly, so we had to have it reprogramed. The desk clerk didn't bother telling us we could drive to the back side door to load in, close to our room. In stead, we had to walk several hundred yards, through the lobby, & down endless hallways, carrying our bags. Not very convenient, or considerate.
Nothing. It was truly awful. 1. Smashed glass in the UNLOCKED side entrances 2. multiple large (human body sized) stains in the carpet in our room and the hallways 3. No blankets on the beds 4. No hot water in the bathroom 5. Leaking roof in pool room
The main lobby was nice but dated and gave a misleading impression of the hotel. The rooms were dirty, windows were smudgy and not clean, toilet was not cleaned, urine on it, stains on the chairs, food left in the fridge and this was the second room they gave me! The first room the toilet was plugged and was leaking water all over the floor when entered. The breakfast was a lie. It was NOT a "hot breakfast" as claimed, just cereal and a loaf of bread. Stay elsewhere.
Staff was friendly, had wifi. Rooms outdated and felt dirty. Shower didn't drain. Not enough towels which were super thin and rough. Paid a cheap rate but it wasn't even worth that.
Nothing! Staff was very unfriendly! They warned me about the hotel being non-smoking yet I could smell cigarette smoke and marijuana smoke when walking in the halls. The fire alarms went off all night during my first night there. Very unclean in the rooms with a musty smell.
Good location clean. Being charged twice for the room
Front staff, room size, rate Management was rude, computer usage out in the open.
Clean, comfortable, great value.
Everything was wet great but me and my girlfriend noticed a sewage smell coming from the bathroom. So bad that we kept flushing the toilet and eventually had to close the bathroom door because we were unable to sleep.
very comfortable, homey, convenient
We loved the Candlewood Suites, Really good value for money, and very comfortable
Nothing staff were rude! screwed up our reservations For 6 people in one small room gave us an additional room because no Suite s were available and then in the morning try to make us pay for it
Nice clean room...great breakfast!
excellent service with excellent staff at an excellent location for our destination. none
Everything except my wife getting locked in the room when the door lock failed!!!!!!! The Door lock that Failed, trapping my wife in the room. I am a mechanical engineer, and had all the Hotel staff trying to figure out how to get my wife out of our room, they had no way to get her out. they called the manager or whoever, and I, with their permission broke down the door of the room to get her out!!!!!!, The staff was helpful but had no idea how to get her out. I let them know how to break down the door, with minimum damage. Thank god there wasn't a fire or other emergency!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The room was ready when we got there, and the morning staff was very professional. Sticky bathroom floor, lack of non smoking rooms, evening staff were not accommodating.
Very nice and clean room and facilities. Desk associate very rude. This is a terrible way to treat guests. And your company cannot expect to have customers return when the desk associate behaves with such an awful attitude toward the customers.
one night stay ...it was ok They did not have a restaurant on the premises and the breakfast was so busy you could hardly get near the food ,we ended up leaving and going out to breakfast..
In town for 35th reunion at EHS. Very convenient location, with supporting restaurants and shopping nearby. Room was spacious and clean. Nice breakfast selection as well. Priced fairly high, although it seems that most in the area were a bit higher than expected.
Friendliest staff on earth. Well designed floorplan, well decorated, excellent security, week day braeakfast to die for. Weekend breakfast leaves a lot to be desired. 'Kids Free' has attracts sports competition-minded families with money to invade each weekend, causing running the halls all night, shouting, forget pool and hot tub, unruly and unsupervised while mom and dad booze it up in the breakfast room leaving the pre-teens to disturb everyone. Many people complained.
good for stop over for local visit or pass thru
The location was very convenient for an appointment I had in the area that weekend.
price the room was small - not enough table room
Very helpful staff. Rooms are big and clean. Very convenient location - just off the interstate with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Hotel was good but some guests were noisy (Six Flags employees?) - talking outside and knocking on each others' doors into the night.
The amenities provided were excellent for me and my family. Keep it up.
Ryan at front desk was extremely pleasant and professional. impossible to find restaurants after dark due to the serpentine street patterns inability to select my category as a traveler: two people travelling together, none of the choices given.
The Check in guy was great!
The close distance to Six Flags in New England. CLose distance to the highway. The breakfast was superb but little expensive. The parking was very close to the hotel room.
Had a great weekend at this hotel , wonderful staff and beautiful rooms !
When I booked was told no ground floor room. When I got there I rec'd the same answer but I told them I would like to bring my dog's crate inside. I was given ground floor room. thank you. The clients were a little noisy as I went in my room, but the room was well insulated against the noise.
The room was charged to a wrong credit card (not mine). They swiped my card and then I was billed again at a much lower rate. They corrected it.( I paid $53.39 RR billed me 42.01) It was pending on my credit card and after I called Red Roof I was told that it had been canceled.
The property was OK. The people were fantastic, some of the best attitudes I have ever encountered at a hotel. The room was shabby, the bathroom was tiny and awkward, there was dirt and grime in places it shouldn't have been, the drain on the tub wouldn't stay open and there was mold in the shower and other areas of the bathroom. Overall it was "OK" at best. The staff and their attitudes were definitely the highlight of the stay.
Price and value Boring staff
