No Internet facilities in Annex (dependance of Hotel). But I admit not promissed.
We found our stay to be most enjoyable. The hotel was right beside the ski bus, definlately use the main hotel ski room entrance to access the hotel - much quicker. Breakfast was lovely and the wellness centre was great in the evenings to relieve the sore legs. Not very posh, but fine.
The room did get stuffy, but opening the window a notch for the night seemed to sort that issue out. We found staff to be very pleasant (mostly, one lady seemed to have the morning breakfast blues!!). Breakfast was nice, but the boiled eggs were always cold and seemed to be cooked at the crack of dawn and left to sit, so not overly nice to eat.
Main hotel is in a great central location near the church. I was located on the ground floor of the annexe which is just 1 mins level walk to the ski bus stop. Whilst the annexe doesn't look very attractive from the outside the rooms are very nice and comfortable. The main hotel has a fairly large free "wellness" facility with sauna, jacuzzi and steam room which with the relaxing music was great after a days' skiing. Breakfast was the usual bread, meats, cheese etc. Bread was particularly good. For the combination of location, comfort, facilities and price I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.
the location is quite nice. and the reception people is very polite and some of them are reliable. we ordered to use a double room as twin, and were able to borrow a hotwater pot one night. the signal of wireless network is quite enough. it is near from the shuttle bus station.
To japanese people. shaver, toothbrush, room cleaning, packets of tea service are NOT normal service in Swizterland and also Europe 3 star hotels. so you have to understand any hotels are kind of apartment rather than japanese (reasonable) hotels. only if a reception is friendly and your behavior looks polite, you can expect additional some very good advices and helps from people. so if you are coming to zermatt without any europe experience, you must feel very bad to everything. it means you will never find any reasonable & comfortable. the welness area is a little smaller than the pics, and the floor is always wet and slippy. sometimes the sauna does not work. it is not big & confortable like german sauna besides you need swiming wear.
With a stay at Annex Antika in Zermatt, you'll be steps from Matterhorn Ski Paradise and Mountaineers Cemetery. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby and multilingual staff.
