The flight was delayed and first class was no different from economy with 1000s of dollars we paid extra to sit first class we didn’t even have Wi-Fi. Then with the flight being over an hour late We ran from terminal B in Dallas to terminal C to get to our flight five minutes before take off and we were told they gave our first class seats away and if we had a problem with that then we can take another airline. When we got on the plane our seats were available and we showed the agent or original ticket and when they called the gate agent the gate agent came on the plane proceeded to tell the people in economy to move up to first class and put us in their seats. Worse experience ever. Never again.

No delays, the wifi on flight didn't work and friendlier staff would be a good start.
This is not customer service. Let’s not pretend. Flying American is transactional at best. I pay for transportation, the airline provides transportation (unbound by comfort and convenience)… the end. No one is there to impress or innovate, they simply just exist as part of the transportation process. Avoid if you have other options.
Lack of information re baggage delays on arrival. I know the airline cannot control the weather but it was chaos in the arrivals area. I waited for 3+ hours with limited information only to be told our bags were still on the plane and to come back in the morning. Seriously? It’s an hours drive each way if I’m lucky, not to mention I have to work tomorrow. Not happy.

After hassle, i thought i received a perfect flight which would get me to my destination A WEDDING at that in time. However, i have been rebooked over 5x in under 24hrs and still at the airport from 9hrs later! They do not compensate you and do not even extend the offer!"

Are flight from Boise sucked we we're 4 to 5 hours late due to the gas contamination in Boise and we weren't informed until a hour + after from the time our flight was suppose to go out. I think most people would agree that when they purchase a boarding pass, it is assumed that it includes a seat. Having to pay extra for a seat was something I did not plan for and it was out of my budget, but I had no choice, because I had to get home somehow! I'll be going without groceries this week due to this unplanned expense."

Pitch of leg room is barely OK but side to side they have sunk to a new low. The new plane doesn't blow any air. Terrible system. Really? That should be easy to fix."

The armrests were truly uncomfortable! Very cramped. My feet and knees were hurting. My backpack took all the tiny under seat space unlike the previous two flights. I did my best to sleep through the turbulence.

I expected free entertainment on that flight, as it was afforded on the flight on the Phoenix to Chicago leg of my flights earlier in the week. The Chicago to Phoenix had entertainment offered but it there was a fee, which I didn't appreciate and did not take part in. I looked around me as much as possible and didn't see anyone else pay for entertainment. Having in flight movies and TV available for feee is a great incentive for flying with United. If these long flights in the future are pay for view, I will not be flying with you when there are alternative carriers who do provide free entertainment. Thank you."
