Cons: "Wasted 24+ hours and a bunch of money. The employees at Dallas did not stop me from boarding an international flight. When landing in London, they immediately turned me around stating, "You can't go on holiday". Cool, thanks. So 12 hours later, im sitting back in Dallas with a whole lot less planned. Thanks DFW! You the best."

Cons: "How is it possible, in this day and age, that American flies a 9.5 hour flight with no individual seat screens, just the 1980's style middle-of the-aisle screen with 2 x TERRIBLE movies?? I know, there are much worse things in life, but an Airline that claims to be SOOO big and great, this is a total disgrace, seriously. And try to explain that to my kids-ages 9 and 10-who had NEVER flown a plane without individual screens (and my son has been already to 20 countries....yes, we fly.) Did I mention that the food is the worse in the industry in this airline? Give me now a reason to keep flying American, please...."

Cons: "We selected seats together as a couple but the seats on the flight were separated. Customer service could not help but asked us to make arrangement with the person between us. The same seating arrangement happened on our return flight 18 days later. Once again was told nothing could be done. I really do not know why both flights the seat assigment were wrong when selected basic on the aircraft configuration. The airline is attempt to make the passenger to pay more for seats."

Cons: "The last cabin was very packed and almost there was no available seat. However, the front cabin was not crowded but a cabin attendant didn’t let me move to other seat at the front cabin even though I was sick and coughing a lot."

Pros: "This was the best in flight crew I’ve experienced in economy class. They were efficient, friendly & humorous! Keep up the great work! They made flying in not so comfortable seats bearable."

Cons: "I booked a flight on JAL, but had to fly on American. None of the JAL amenities or services were available. Also our flight was delayed by 4+ hours."

Cons: "American completely missed the mark. AA did not successfully change our reservation when the initial leg of our trip was delayed by an hour due to a fuel issue, which caused us to miss your connection in Chicago. Since American partners with Alaskan Airlines, American should have changed my reservations with regards to Alaska Airlines, but they failed to do that. I stood at the Alaskan Airlines counter as the plane left the gate with our empty seats because there was not a ticket. American Airlines did not change a reservation successfully and so although we had boarding passes with our names and seats and the flight number, the plane left without us. I was stranded and Seattle airport at midnight with a child and an infant with one diaper and one bottle left and it was a terrible experience with American Airlines. I do not recommend flying American they cannot get it together when problems happen with delays."

Departure and arrival were as stated, maybe a few minutes over, but it is not like JAL can control the weather. Great experience overall!"

The newest airplane was clean, nice and had a cool entertainment system. All the crews were very friendly, nice and outstanding customer service especially one of the elder crews (Asian man) was very attentive and caring about all passengers. I hope he will be on the board for my return."

Pros: "The flight was on time, even arrived early. Nice crew and plenty of food/snacks. It was good to have a selection of movies and TV shows to watch, too."
Cons: "The lack of space on such a long flight was painful, and there wasn't much opportunity to stretch my legs. I was also seated across from a woman who didn't realize how stupid it was to bring a toddler on a 12 hour flight, and he screamed pretty much the entire time. I couldn't sleep at all and not even headphones drowned it out. That part wasn't really the airline's fault though, and I could see that the flight attendants were asking her several times to get her son to quiet down. I just wish there were regulations on these sorts of situations. Everyone around you suffers when you bring a small child on a very long flight because they will inevitably be bored, cranky and uncomfortable, and because we are confined to our seats, we are forced to suffer through it all. I wish that children under a certain age would not be allowed to board flights over a certain length of time except for special circumstances."

"The check in process was kind of slow considering that I had already checked in and just needed to drop off my bag. Everything else was great! I love flying with the Japanese. Their customer service is always astounding."

Many people didn’t have seats until last minutes, no explanations, desk clerk was not helpful at all and had attitudes. And Food was terrible!!!"

Cons: "Kayak's third party CS company gives me the ANA schedule while in fact I have to check in with United Airlines. Because of this, I was not able to check in on line in San Diego. Please ensure that Kayak & their affiliate are well coordinated with the information they send out to customers."

Pros: "economy plua has a reasonable amount of room, good food for breakfast, nice movies in flight."
Cons: "they canceled our flight to hanaeda and instead had us take an hour later flight to narita which is a 1 1/2 hour $30 bus ride away which they don’t pay for. this caused us to miss our connecting flight to Asahikawa, the last flight of the day. The connection time allowed was not nearly enough even if the plane had not been an hour late and there are no flights to asahikawa from narita. yo have to transfer to hanaeda. remind me not to fly United to Tokyo again as I’m pretty sure the flight was canceled because it was not full enough. Even the narita flight with all the hanaeda passengers rebooked on it was not full. So i suspect this may be a relatively common occurance on the hanaeda flight."

Cons: "There was no entertainment available on this flight. It's a short flight so I don't expect any, however, I continued on to Phoenix that day from Chicago and that is a long flight. I expected free entertainment on that flight, as it was afforded on the flight on the Phoenix to Chicago leg of my flights earlier in the week. The Chicago to Phoenix had entertainment offered but it there was a fee, which I didn't appreciate and did not take part in. I looked around me as much as possible and didn't see anyone else pay for entertainment. Having in flight movies and TV available for feee is a great incentive for flying with United. If these long flights in the future are pay for view, I will not be flying with you when there are alternative carriers who do provide free entertainment. Thank you."

Pros: "Traveling from SJU to GSP, my mom got to the airport in SJU for her 1am flight. To find out it had been canceled. No call or email before hand, the had to wait until 2am to change the flight and get a hotel voucher. After that, next day they board the plane and de-board the plane due to mechanical problems. Another night and just a couple of 10 vouchers. She never received an explanation or recompense for loosing part of her trip in the san juan airport. This is the second time ahe has gone thru this in the same year with United. Awful experinece."

Now I have wasted PTO time that I can't get back and wasted money at our resort that I wasn't able to get back. One of the agents at Bradley International Airport Sammy put her hands on my friend and screamed in her face USING FOUL LANGUAGE with a line full of people and their children waiting to check in. It was unprofessional and uncalled for. We did get police and management involved. The overall experience was terrible."

Cons: "Plane from Chicago to Savannah was small. I was all the way in the seat not slouching and my knees were crammed in the set infront of me. The arm rests were digging into my thighs as well. Im used to not much leg room but this was a first for how crammed in I was into a seat, Im 6'3" & 270lbs. Ive probably been on 50 different planes over the years to give you some perspective of my experience flying when I say this was a first and a very uncomfortable plane. The plane to take us to Savannah arrived so late it pushed my flight back by like an 1.5 hours from what it was supposed to be."
