British Airways is significantly better."

The time between flights was not enough 55 mins as the gate closed 20 mins before departure and it takes at least 15 minutes from arrival to taxi to the terminal and then get off the plane. I had to change from terminal F to E which was well sign posted but I only made it with 4 minutes to spare"

I specifically called Air France prior to the flight to make sure I won’t have any issues as my 1st flight was operated by Delta and I wanted to confirm the luggage requirements were the same. My carry-on weighted only 5 kilos. I was extremely upset the way I was treated w/ the boarding agent behind the counter in Prague. On the top of that, her and the supervisor were very rude to my mom as they told her she had an extra carry-on which wasn’t the case. She traveled w/ a small briefcase where her mask for sleep apnea was. This is not considered an additional carry-on. The boarding agent (Czech lady and her supervisor) were not only rude but obviously lacked knowledge as well. My carry-on suitcase would easily fit in the overhead bin plus there was plenty of space inside the plane as it the flight wasn’t completely full."

Finally got on the plane and it took forever to take off so we were basically sitting in a sauna for 30+ minutes."

Great free movie selection -- don't forget your earphones or you'll have to credit card one on the plane (the ones for iphone 7 don't work, so get normal plug-in earphones). Smooth flight."

Cons: "Didn't like the fact that food was not included in the airfare on a long flight (I think it was over 5 hours). This inconsistency between airline policies is very annoying - you never know if you can take food on-board, if you should take food along or how much you should expect to be ripped off at the terminal/on-flight. The entertainment unit stalled the entire time. Oh, and boarding... it's very odd to check-in at the domestic terminal at LAX for an international flight and I don't recall seeing any message in my email/SMS regarding this. So taxi dropped me off at the Tom Bradley International Terminal at LAX and then I had to run over 4 terminals to get the Air Canada. A precaution about this would be nice."

Cons: "When checking in, the flight attendant randomly checked sizes of carry-on baggage and forced us to pay extra to check a clearly carry on sized bag, which we have used on at least 50 flights previously as a carry on without ever an issue. On the flight, there were countless carry on bags clearly larger than ours which were allowed on the flight. We soon realized there was not enough room for all the carry on baggage and so they randomly chose us to pay extra since baggage would have to be checked anyways. It was unfair, biased, and classless. Shame on you Air Canada."

Cons: "There was a major winter storm on the way, and the flight should have been canceled like every other flight to Boston was. Long story short, we couldn't land in Boston due to the storm. So we flew not to Boston, but to Quebec City. They would not let us off the airplane. Eventually we flew back to Montreal where we started. More than 7 hours on a plane with no food, and they only offered us water. The flight should have been cancelled in the first place. That would have been a lot less stressful to deal with."

Very uncomfortable! I will avoid this airline again if possible, it was not a pleasant experience. Those around me were getting restless as many had connecting flights that were being impacted. Perhaps if updates were given as to why the delay was taking place, it would have settled some of the passengers."

Cons: "No tv but you can use your iPhone/iPad to watch movies but only if you downloaded the app (they only let you know about the app when you're on the plane and you don't have a chance to download it since you don't have Internet), you can rent an iPad for $10 to watch some movies from the '90s. The cabin crew was rude and ignored me when I had a question. Boarding took more than an hour So of course we left late. I would not fly with them again."

Pros: "The Boeing 787 is a very nice, state-of-the-art aircraft. The cabin temperature and pressure are excellent and comfortable. The entertainment options were great."
Cons: "I only booked this ticket 3-4 months ago, and Air Canada decided about 3-4 weeks before departure to change their Inchon-Toronto route to 2-3 hours later. This really messed up my trip, increasing my total travel time from Bangkok to Columbus, Ohio from about 30 hours to about 36 hours. My wife and son will have the same issue in two weeks. The YYZ to Columbus leg was delayed over one hour, as well, extending the trip even more. The Jazz terminal in YYZ atrocious and hot. I also didn't comment on our trip from CMH to Bangkok, mostly on Air Canada. The 787 on the YYZ NRT leg had a computer issue, which is understandable. However, we were waiting for the extra pilot (for the long leg) for nearly an hour after the airplane was fixed. So my main input to Air Canada is: it doesn't really matter if you have the very best equipment. If your scheduling isn't working (maintenance, crewing, route changes, etc.), you create unhappy customers. I will avoid Air Canada in the future, as 3 of the 4 legs I had on AC tails did not go smoothly."
