My dad was sitting in front of me, and when we got off the plane he told me he heard the noises too, and saw some passengers that looked worried who heard the noise as well. My dad works with airplanes, and he said it might have been the panels overhead rattling that was making the noise. Other than that, the flight was okay, but i think the aircraft should be checked out."

In my opinion, if someone wants to fork out the price to fly first class.. they should waive THAT policy. So, I spent the night with all 'the others' hating Alaska and it's short sighted policy. I could have used the lounge for 1.30 hrs the next day..if I wasn't so busy hating them."

The customer service person was not at all helpful, and told me there were no other flights available on any airline until the next day. However, I was able to go online and book another flight immediately...which means that she was either being disingenuous or actively undermining efforts to get me home in a timely fashion. Very disappointing and as a SkyMiles member would have thought there would be some level of common courtesy dealing with a non-weather related delay that drastically impacted my travel plans."

Pros: "I don’t know what Delta could have done better on this two leg flight from Albuqueque to Miami via Atlanta . Yes we were in First Class and it was a (groan) 6:05 AM flight which meant that we were probably on time. But Delta’s 737-900 (to Atlanta) was very comfortable, the crew did everything well and the breakfast was quite good. (Make sure you try the quiche). We had the same crew on the next leg to Miam, who were surprised and gave us a warm welcome. There were only snacks in 1st for that short segment, but they were all we wanted."

Many people on my flight were worried about connections because Delta delayed our start by over 30 minutes to "change a switch," whatever that means. Then for passengers with short connection times, they should NEVER be seated in the rear of the plane when it takes 20-30 minutes for the rear-seated passengers. Not very consumer-oriented."

They refused to let us back on our original flight. Put me in touch w/ the help desk who after talking in circles admitted it was their mistake but he had no authority to help. FINAlly & only because others missed their flight we were given the option to go. Crew misplaced our luggage and sent it on a flight we were never supposed to be on, and the bad experience with delays of hours on end continued coming home. (Mechanimal non weather) WE WILL NEVER FLY DELTA AGAIN!"

She had about half of the First Class cabin offended as soon as meals started getting served - I didn't see ANYONE around me that got what they asked for, and then when people stated the issue, she didn't respond very well. I tried to take things in stride (first world problems?) but it is a bummer to pay extra for the first class treatment and then to not have that great experience, especially on back to back 5ish hour flights."

The rude gate employee decides to check my carry on piece to my destination. I explain that I have a14 hour connection and I need the small arty on piece for that flight. I was asked to talk to the other gate employee while they gave my seat away. It's horrible how rude and dismissive they were. I asked for compensation but they started to lie. Apparently I 'gave' up my seat. Once the shift manager started to help me, I thought things would've ok. It got worse. The Delta training took over. Both employees repeated the exact same words about me volunteering my seat so there's no compensation. It cost me a hotel night and 24 hours. I will avoid Delta at all costs... and I know it will be difficult since flying through ATL is pretty much alway Delta. But, it's too much. Lying, rude and dismissive employees at various levels of management. Horrible"

I finally tore a page out of the AA magazine and wedged it against the screen so I could actually sleep without it constantly blinking on and disturbing me. Next time, I'm going to smash the screen. If I want it off, leave it off."

Cons: "The third party agent, webjet.com, was horrible. American airlines contacted them several times about canceling the ABQ-ORD flight and they never responded. WEBJET.COM did not put their name on the electronic ticket so I was unaware of who to contact. Finnair was not particularly helpful. They discontinued my chat conversation and didn't have an option to call back so I had to wait for 20 minutes. American Airlines was impressively helpful. They figured out that WEBJET.COM had canceled one leg of our fight and AA.com reinstated the flight. American had also contacted WEBJET.COM numerous times and WEBJET.COM had never responded."

Cons: "Bag check is expensive at $40/per. Nickel and dime passengers for everything. Fare was cheap so I guess it was worth it. Online check-in was a big pain, since Frontier had incorrect/missing information (name-was that Kayak's fault or Frontier? I don't know.). When I attempted to correct it, they changed my fare to full price. Allowed check-in to timeout and eventually successfully completed without corrections so that fare was unchanged."

Had to convince staff that small women’s pack was a purse and not a 2nd bag to be checked in for $50. Woman in front of me had a more traditional large purse and encountered no problems."

Despite the fact that no one seemed to be aware of what was going on and making everyone with electronic passes wait an extra 30 minutes, my checked bag (which cost more than the flight) arrived with minimal damage and I’m still in one piece."

The staff was apparently new because they couldn't get through one intercom conversation without fumbling through it and when a customer asked how long the flight was the flight attendant didn't know and another passenger had to answer. We were delayed by 2 hours and all because the intercom phone was broken. I know it's a safety hazard but it just wasn't a smooth professional staff that you typically see. One of the three flight attendants was tenure but all I saw was the new girl fumble through everything. I'm hoping she was new...also, we are delayed two hours sitting on the plane, so I know people will give bad reviews about that but there's nothing you can control regarding our safety. It is what it is, I just couldn't stop shaking my head everything they spoke on the intercom how bad they were on it."
