Pros: "We had missed our original flight and were met with new boarding passes for a new flight, so that was good. When my friend and I realized we were on different flights, the woman at the ticket counter was very kind and helpful in changing my flight. We didn’t get our bags, but the women at baggage claim were very kind and helpful, and hopefully my bag will be delivered soon."

It sure saved me the 2 hours driving during rush hour, and wears and tearS on my personal car, if you have 2 hours extra time during the day. Otherwise (If you want to save time), drive yourself to EWR and park."

Cons: "United airlines employee Mearle at the check in counter was extremely disrespectful, Rude, and arrogant towards everyone in line at the counter Trying to check in. Many customers including us waitted in the check in line for 35 minutes or more while Mearle proceeded to chat on her cell phone (personal call), and taking a break leaning the check in counter while everyone waited on her so she could assist with check in. Finally the passengers in front of us voice their concern to mearle stating that everyone is going to miss theirs flights if she didn't assist us all right away. Mearle responded by snapping back by saying "it's not my fault that united keep us understaffed and pay us enough to care " then laughed and walked away again. At this point we realized that if we did not get immediate assistance, that we would surly miss our flight. I walked in front of the line on behalf of everyone standing in line and reiterated to Mearle in a firm tone that she insisting check in the remaining 12 passengers immediately. Mearle snapped back telling me to "worry about my own self and don't tell me how to do my own job". Feeling very stressed out And worried about missing my flight went and stood back in line again. A few moments later I over heard Mearle tell the passengers ahead of us " you're too late. You've missed your flight" these passengers became very upset with Mearle telling her that she's the reason they missed the flight and Mearle laughed and said out loud to everyone else in line.. "you all missed your flight. You all should be more responsible next time and get here earlier" and then Mearle walked away never to be see again. Many of us missed our flight which caused many of us to also miss our connecting flights. We immediately called the 800 number and filed a complaint. Then we were forced to drive three hours in traffic to LAX where we caught a later flight and barely made it to our destination in time for our work event. We swore that because of Mearle and her disgusting behavior that we will never ever fly united again (and I fly a lot for my job) and since that horrible experience with Mearle two months ago, I've flown on four trips spending over $2300 dollars and every flight has been booked through American Airlines. Do to Mearle's bad attitude, disrespectful personality, and poor representation of united we will never do business with united again. We suggest united airlines remove Mearle from Having any contact with the general public as we are sure that Mearle is loosing customers for united at a very rapid pace."

Cons: "Pretty sure my flight attendant was racist though I have no way of proving it. She was downright rude to me, and not a second later was overly courteous to the old, white male sitting in front of me. Also, they were really secretive about offering free drinks. Miserly a**holes didn't want to announce it so when I ordered a vodka they quietly told me it was free. So quietly in fact, that not even my wife sitting next to me heard it."

Cons: "Warning to those who haven't been there: food is limited to vending machines at the Paducah airport. It's a small airport, but I'm delighted it's still available. Nashville airport is over two hours drive away."
Pros: "We loved the small terminal at Sky Harbor, with the cute little discounted parking lot, no more that 100 feet away. We loved the location of Avis Rental Car, directly across from the baggage pick-up exit doors, at Regional Southwest. Our flights were all on-time, and the crew was extremely professional."

Cons: "Again, United changed my original departure time from Burlington, VT to San Diego (via Chicago) from 10 am to 6:30 am. This meant an overnight stay in Burlington and loss of sleep and my free breakfast. In addition, I was stuck with 4+ hr layover in Chicago. The Chicago terminal was a mass of swarming people. Horrible!"

Then when boarding the attendant informed me. I explained I checked my bag in the airport compartment tester and it was fine. I also asked the attendant at the counter. She confirmed it was fine. Still smiling until the snack pretzels were passed out. When I didn't hear the attendant's question, in spite of telling her I was hearing impaired, she threw her hand up rudely and just continued on to other customers. When boarding I watched orhers board with the same size bag as mine, and wondered if telling someone you can't hear gives them the right to inform you at the gate that your bag needs to be checked?"

Pros: "I thought the newer model 737 with the ambient lighting and redesigned overhead compartments gives the plane a less claustrophobic feel. The pilots did a great job navigating through potential turbulence and the flight crew was attentive and on point. A better experience than the crew on the flight from Seattle to Houston four days before. It is my understanding that Continental crews remained intact upon the merge and my assumption was this was a Continental crew versus the United crew that was not as good."
Cons: "The boarding process with the arbitrary assignment of boarding group 5 giving us no chance to bring our one bag on the plane. There is no real enforcement of the carton policies of these airlines which makes it frustrating for those who follow the rule only to be punished and forced to check the bag and go through baggage claim."

Cons: "Our first flight was delayed, which meant we'd miss our connecting flight. We were moved to a flight that would leave us in the airport for 8 hours. I called and someone got my onto an earlier flight, but when we showed up at the gate, we found out she hadn't finished the transaction and now there weren't enough seats for us. We were supposed to land in RIC by 2, but by the time we got a flight (which was again delayed), it was almost 10pm. The only helpful person I dealt with was John, who took my call to get us on another flight."
