Cons: On such a long flight from Dubai to Boston, the seats in coach were criminal! Way to narrow, not enough distance to seat in front of you, seats do NOT recline enough to be able to relax & get needed rest, no footrest & way overcrowded. Although the price was good, we truly suffered on this trip.

Pros: Overall, wonderful! Appreciate that they started boarding early and that we left right on time, if not a little earlier. Was very comfortable and excellent flight. Thank you so much! Very pleasant experience.

Cons: No wi-fi even though the flight was advertised otherwise. I chose Emirates because of wi-fi availability. The reason I was given for non-availability of Wi-Fi was that the airplane was brand new...which seemed a little convoluted for these times.

Cons: I was taken by surprise that I could not take my SLR camera on board as carry-on luggage and had to check it (they were doing this to everyone, not just me and it covered laptops, kindles, cameras, etc - everything electronic except phones). This was not done on the flight into Dubai. Also irritating was when I got to Boston, an Emirates guy cut open the packing envelope open and in the process, accidentally sliced the camera neck strap. He was, however, very apologetic and eagerly got me the info needed to submit a claim to Emirates.

Cons: We have booked two tickets separately. One for me and the other for my wife and kid. But we were travelling together. When we checkin, we told we need the seats together. But, they did not give the seat together. Also, our connection time was 2 hours for the next flight. To receive the baggage in the port of entry, it took more than 1 hour 15 mins in the carousel. After that we had to clear customs, change terminal and clear security in 45 mins to catch the next flight. It was really tough for us. They could have handled the baggage little efficiently.

Pros: The plane was not full and I had three seats to myself, so my very positive review is not totally fair. However, on a relative basis in comparison to other airlines, Emirates is the best on which I have flown.

Cons: For a 14 hour flight there are no water bottles provided. You need more than the couple of cups of water provided on the flight, and it is not practical to keep on asking for more water from the crew. Quality of food (Asian veg) was not very good.

Cons: My connecting flight (booked through Emirates but operated by JetBlue) was inexplicably cancelled with 24h notice. Emirates did a good job finding me an alternative flight but somehow did not get my bags on my new flight even though the woman at the counter made a special call to "ensure" that my bags would come with me. Now I have to wait over 24h before I can get my bag.

I tried to get to the back, the crew dint even move to help us with anything. They sat together and were talking and dint even care to move. I have never seen this amount of careless attitude so far in emirates. Food quality has gone down quite a bit compared to my travel before.

Cons: Flight was delayed, 1 of my baggage was missed and due to that connecting flight from Boston to Newark was missed. There were no more flights to Newark so I was put up in flight to JFK after 3 hours of wait.

Pros: Staff is very attentive and always around. I am not a fan of instant coffee, but I got a cup of coffee when I asked for one outside of "meal times". The leg room is good, though I could still use a little extra.
Cons: I wish the crew asked all passengers to reset their seat upright when food is served. I am quite tall and having the person in front of me recline is uncomfortable at all times, but while eating, there just isn't very much elbow room. Also the temperature in the cabin is really too cold. The entertainment system uses a two-prong plug for the headset, which requires you to bring an adapter if you want to use your own noise-blocking headset or headphones.

Pros: I love the fact that the crew is quite so international -- and that they all wear small flag pins to tell you where they come from! They were very good with the children -- and I loved the fact tht they came round and took polaroid photos of passengers - particularly the families!

Cons: The ground staff needs to be more co-ordial and friendly. Am not sure how they are hired but they appear very rude and dry throwing instructions. I travel a lot and in many airlines and whatever the case, staff members of other airlines smile, tell issues if any, suggest solutions and work on it. Emirates staff, it seems, does not know how to talk or smile.

Cons: There was a group of teenagers sitting in 8 seats in two of the middle rows right next to me. They spent the whole flight climbing all over the seats and each other. They were very loud, often banging into other passenger's seats, and leaving their stuff in the aisle where people were tripping over things as they walked by. They were really inconsiderate of other passengers - many of whom were trying to sleep on a 13-hour flight. It would have been nice if the crew would have told them to be quieter and more respectful of other passengers.

No kit was given which includes brush, paste, eye covering band. Last time I travelled from Boston to Dubai the food was completely frozen and now this!

Cons: Had requested for wheel chair assistance but was denied saying everyone was " too busy". When the passenger stated she cannot go without help, the flight attendant helped her out and to a bus. She almost fell while getting on to the bus. Assistance was requested because of her poor eye sight on the left eye and issues with mobility because of that. Although I'm glad nothing bad happened, denial of assistance and making her feel concerned and speak for herself for someone to help could have been avoided if Emirates could keep their promised support. Very disappointed.

Cons: We were not able to print the online checking ahead of time, so we had to stand in a lot of very long lines. The person printed the wrong boarding passes because they didn't know many details about domestic and international flights. There was also confusion about checking in the luggage between the domestic and international flights. A boarding pass from Dubai to Ahembadvad was not given at the New York airport.

Cons: Had 90 minutes fr connection, 30 min delay so 1 hr left. Had to walk walk and walk for nearly 1 hr to barely make it. Airport is TERRIBLE in terms of going from gate to gate- loong walks with no moving walkways. Train is a joke covering very short distance. Once arrived in Boston, took 1hr before luggage started unloading, and then to find out our 4 bags didn't come at all. Staff on ground not courteous, wouldn't send bags to home town in Raleigh. Had to wait till afternoon to get the bags and then fly to final destination. Entertainment system very bad, audio/video stop and go, stop and go- really terrible (though notice some people's screens were working fine).

Pros: I like Emirates, and it was the first time that I flew Jet Blue. Jet Blue staff is friendly and helpful.
Cons: Doesn't seem to me that Emirates and Jet Blue are aligned. JetBlue does not recognize what my status is with Emirates, the layover was long without a lounge, you can not select your seat on Jet Blue through Emirates (this is a huge irritation!), you can't check in online through Emirates for the Jet Blue return trip, and the seat selection for Jet Blue was awful.

Cons: In both 10 hour trips to and from US to Turkey my seats were broken and didn’t recline, which made for an uncomfortable trip.

Cons: Priority boarding was messed-up - no queue discipline was even attempted by the gate staff. The business class seats were uncomfortable and not comfortable to sleep in. The footrest was not long enough and the feet were dangling in the air. The blanket and bedding was provided almost 3 hours after take-off Worst of all was baggage handling. Our luggage was severely damaged. The handle to the suitcases was torn off. In addition the bags and the contents were wet when we received them in Boston. IT had been raining in Istanbul and it seems the bags were left out in the open. I've been trying to get Turkish to repair the torn-off handles but I'm constantly hitting a wall. I have filed a claim but the support staff sends extremely brief denials with no explanation.

Cons: This’s the worse airlines that I ever use in my life, in my way back to Boston I get to the airport 2 and half hours before my flight, it was so crowded outside the door, so I didn’t get to check in till like an hour and 10 minutes, Guess what! They didn’t let me in because they close the gate they said?? They have me payed for another thicket to I take the next flight They are so weird, even when you called the customers service they will do nothing for you, like they don’t live in our planet!! Trust me stay away from this turkish airlines

The signage wasn't clear and we waited in line for 15 minutes before realizing we had to be in a different line, for which there was only one attendant checking in for three different flights all leaving at the same time. When there are three layers of security at Attaturk airport, everyone waiting to check in were rightfully worried they may miss their flight.

Cons: Turkish airlines in Istanbul this last trip was the most disorganized and rudest I've yet to experience. They were incredibly disorganized and unhelpful. It was 5am with hoards of people waiting just to go through a tiny security because they closed the entrance for international transfers. No lines and direction whatsoever. It took two hours just to go through simple sercurity. My flight gate, number, and info to Boston was not even posted on the departure screen so I almost missed my flight- I had to go multiple times across the airport to find anyone to ask. The employees were rude and unhelpful. They did not assist or direct anyone or any of the chaos and they were slow and lacked any understanding to people whose flight was ten minutes till take off. Really unimpressed and highly considering avoiding taking them again to the Middle East in the future.

Pros: I liked the idea of offering a tour of Istanbul during long connections that Turkish airlines offer. The tour that I went on was a 2.5 hour bus ride with sightseeing from the window mostly - still it was very nice. The people organizing passengers in groups for the tour in the airport however were not so nice. When I said "I have a question", the guy literally ROLLED HIS EYES at me.
Cons: The crew was somewhat rude and unwelcoming, both in the plane and on the ground. The seat is not comfortable in comparison with other transatlantic flights - somehow the crew and the seats were so much better on my connecting TK flight within Europe.

She got very scared and very upset for what you guys did . She is an old lady and it was one of her worst experiences of her life

Cons: The boarding process could have been more organized. I had a business class ticket and could not find the priority boarding line. The first ground crew member I asked was abrupt and sent me to the back of the long line. I caught the attention of a different crew member and he motioned me to the front of the line--it was a little awkward saying "excuse me" to each person that I passed. (I am not used to being a priority passenger!) Once my documents were cleared and my carry-on was inspected at the gate, it was not clear whether to take a seat or to go somewhere else.

Pros: Flight delayed 11.5 hours...not their fault, but there was no communication from Turkish Airlines as to what was happening.

Pros: Turkish was the only airline I've flown that actually did not give the impression of nickle and diming but really made clear and concerted and well executed efforts to exceed expectations on all fronts, even food and drink. A huge accomplishment. They really put most of their competitors to shame.
Cons: Only issue was that the videos kept freezing up, though they did remedy that problem. And I wish they had a foreign hub further to the west. Much as I loved the airline, I would only fly them again to Turkey or further east. It took me 22 hours door to door from Venice to Portland, Maine, when it shouldn't have been much more than half that. It's just too Far East to be a very practical option for visiting Western Europe from the US.

Pros: Entertainment System was great, many choices and easy to navigate. This was important because the flight was delayed on both ends so we were sitting for even longer than our already long flight.
Cons: Boarding was unorganized although we'd been divided into four groups, people were jumbled together not really knowing when their group had been called. Check-in bag drop was extremely slow, another couple of desks were needed to keep the process moving more quickly. We were there more than 2 hours early and were standing in line nearly all of that time.

Sit down to stares. Without doing anything So begins the ogling Not for beauty or glasses But because of his right to look in any direction he pleases. The drink cart comes by Soft drinks only Stuttered English behind Only a sweet belch of coca cola Released, bubbling an unfettered expression shared across all languages. (but do they share my disgust?) Oh to fly, to find a cab to drive in the big city.

Cons: I asked for sugar 3x before finally getting it (1 hour), but by then the coffee was cold and I had to request a new one and wait another 10 mins :)

Pros: came home with 2 broken bags, hard to talk to anybody, emailing back and forth since then to replace them, so far offered much cheaper bags and om top of this, a lot of paper work needed to claim those 2 cheaper replacement !!!

Cons: Our departure flight (BOS-IST) was changed 6 weeks after our booking, so our 2.5-hour layover became 10 hours. This happened before in my past experience with Turkish Airlines. There were many babies and small kids, so the noise level was high. Not ideal if you want to get some sleep on the flight.

Cons: Not every one can follow the speed of the way you announce things, remember your flight take people from different continents in the world Also not having some where to sit while waiting for the information of which gate to go it is very challenging. The AC was almost killing the older people not me but the older lady sat next to me complained all the time but it didn't work. I know it is the challenge difficult to solve however you can give them some advise. Find a private space to talk with sick people because some people might not be comfortable to talk in front of every one.

Cons: They lost half the bags on the plane, including mine, so there was a huge line to make lost baggage claims. Turkish Airlines pretty much runs ataturk airport ist. So they should make sure the Wifi there works. Which it never seems to.

Cons: I understand that an airline can’t control the weather, but they can be prepared for it. We arrived hours late and found chaos. Conflicting information from staff. Lines lasting HOURS, verging on mob behavior, some passengers shouting and crying. One very good agent got us into civilized lines, but it was still awful. Later that night, we found our second flight HAD taken off, despite every single airline and airport staffer insisting that all flights were cancelled. We could have been home for New Year’s Eve instead of stuck in an airport. The next day, we still got mixed signals about how to check in. Then we found we had been given seats rows apart, despite being one booking. To be honest, we haven’t even taken this flight yet. Our rebooked flight on the following day is hours late and we’re waiting for it now. But I already know enough to post that I will never fly Turkish Airlines again.

Pros: the flight was late in leaving, and although the lateness was not the airline's fault, the scramble of repeated announcements of Boarding is delayed for 10 minutes...3 or 4 times...was not smooth or comfortable...or very professional.
Cons: the sound system on cut out of and on repeatedly, and shifted program and then would interrupt what was playing again and again, except when it would block the program out. aside from that, it was all pretty ok.

Airplane food is always bad...who cares. But being trapped in uncomfortable seats with no room to shift your position for a six plus hour flight is inhumane! My son is 6'2" and his knees were literally against the back of the chair in front of him, luckily my daughter was in that seat so she didn't recline it on his knees. My back was killing me in the first hour (I'm only 5'2") my 13 year old daughter complained that her back was killing her by the end of the flight. I've never flown Lufthansa before and will never again!

Cons: For the first time in decades (hundreds of flights), I've had to find the paper bag and until the very end I thought I might end up needing it. My companion did use hers, and mine (also a first in many decades). Part of the bumpiness could have been due to a weather system but the plane's movement was jerky when taxiing in Boston. BOS-MUC used to be one of my favorite routes back when it was served by the A360. The new A350 is nothing special except for the entertainment system. Ironically the large screen seemed overwhelming due to the dismal distance to the seat in front.

Pros: Real silverware and glasses for dinner and the best blanket on any flight I've ever taken.

Pros: They did get us other flights home and got us a hotel to stay in. There were meal vouchers but it was so late by the time we were rebooked we could not eat dinner and our flights left too early to be able to use them, but it was a nice effort on their part.
Cons: They cancelled the flight due to mechanical issues which was understandable. The problem was the chaos at Frankfurt airport because the instructions given to us to get to the Lufthansa service desk were totally inadequate. At least we didn't have to sleep at the airport like some passengers did.

Considering I took six flights in this month, I will let it slide that they ran out of New movies. Worst part was food. Obviously, there is no quality consideration when they decide menu. Check Emirates or other similar fare bracket airlines to understand the gravity of Lufthansa food problem. If one reason I had to choose to drop Lufthansa from my future consideration then that would be worst food and drinks. I would strongly recommend that they should assign people who need additional time to board at the back of the plane. It will help them to go back of the plane faster and avoid gridlock in the middle. Another advantage is it will help other passengers leave plane faster at the end of the ride. Boarding process will be come significantly faster by filling the plane from back to front by loading passanger with children and who needs time at the first loading area at the back of the plane. Pros: I like to fly LH on the BOS to FRA route as they are the only carrier to fly this route nonstop. Usually the service is quite good. The crew is attentive, offers water or juice repeatedly, gives you a warm moist handcloth before the mealservice to clean your hands. Check-in in FRa can be tedious becaiuse of long lines.
Cons: LH experienced several strikes in the last two years or so. Once I had to stay an extra day, this time I had to cut a family visit a day short. While they handled the rebooking in both cases quite efficiently, not everyone might have the flexibility to change days so easily. It is also disappointing when one has to give up on a planned activity to make it back home on time. Movie selection could be updated and I miss having an actual newspaper or magazine to read on the long flight. Will have to pack my own oin the future.

Cons: The flight took off approximately 3.5 hours behind schedule and we boarded the flight and waited inside the aircraft for 2.5 hours...why did they do that? The flight attendants were offering water and trying to be as helpful as they could be.... but we're inside the plane, not going anywhere, so not much extra they can do.

Pros: The captain managed to get us almost with no turbulence through bumpy weather. The seats are as narrow as the standard, but the pitch is fine.

Cons: Checking in (self checkin to obtain baggage ticket) was terrible simply because United separated first class and economy areas. There were few if any signs directing passengers to the proper area. The areas were as far apart as they could be, straddling the security entrance. United was extremely busy at the time. Waiting in line for a kiosk only to be told it was first class only was inexcusable.

Also Newark Airport is decrepit and the United Terminal is run down with poor services that arte ovrpriced and dirty.

United, I understand how you want to make little money out of a customer's pocket, but this is not how you should do it. You should at least allow internet connection before departure or let the customer aware they need to download application beforehand.

Cons: Boarding took a long time in the plane. There was confusion as they had passengers going both ways in the aisle .. this forced several ppl to stand in the aisle a long time. One of the air hostess had a major attitude. For example one passenger who was stuck in the middle of other passengers asked her politely if she could help him put the carry on in an overhead bin near her .. and she responded "I cant help you, you need to put it up yourself sir". Not something one expects. She was also terse with passengers, ordering them in an annoyed tone.

Pros: I didnt know I could only bring one item on board that had to be checked UNDERNEATH the seat in front of me. I didnt have the "right" ticket for over head storage. I had to buy a box for $15 to put my purse in and THEN pay $35 to check my PURSE in! I couldnt check in early. I had to go to the gate to get a seat assignment and then even though my assigned seat was in the 10th row, I then had to line up in groups like Southwest and I guess my punishment for sitting in economy was to wait to board last. I felt like third class boarder on the Titanic. United has become less than a Greyhound bus. They will NEVER be my first choice again! It was HORRIFIC I will go to ANY other airlines before them. P.S. the service at the Houston counter were rude and awful except for Ms. Edwards

Cons: It began going downhill at the United Lounge, where I put two chairs together to get a little sleep since my flight was scheduled to leave at 12:30am. I was summarily woken up and told that it wasn't appropriate to sleep in a lounge. I complained at the front-desk (politely) and was told ... "This is a lounge". Oh and yes, the Wifi wouldn't connect and the food was stale ... so I left, and found a very nice sofa in the concourse. On the flight, service was non-existent, whoever was in the galley was clattering things about, despite the fact that this is a short red-eye flight ... the coffee was awful. The steward forgot to give me my coat and I had to ask twice AFTER we landed and were leaving the plane to get it. By contrast, Lufthansa has daybeds and a special quiet area to snooze, and offer pillows and blankets. Clearly, the Germans are louche compared to Americans.

Cons: I was not informed about the delay until after I checked my bag, otherwise I might have chosen another flight. I was informed that though I could possibly change flights, my bag might not. I have the UA app, and did not receive timely notification. Free WIFI would have been nice as a compensation. A 4 hour delay means I miss my bus and extends my travel time significantly, one more night away from home. You did offer $50 of mt next UA flight for the next year, but I don't fly that often. Considering the reason for the delay was they were waiting for a plane was frustrating.

Cons: When we made reservations in February we opted for economy plus seating 8C and 8D on an Airbus A320. In June we received notice of a schedule and equipment change to a Boeing 737-300. I was not told or given the option to change seat assignments, and we were assigned middle and window seats 28E and 28F, which were torture, so narrow and almost no legroom. Why weren't we automatically assigned economy plus seats? Adding insult to injury I had to apply for a refund for the seat upgrade, which again should have been automatic. Seeing as how the return flight was code-shared with AirCanada, United did not give us the option to upgrade seating, so I was forced to call United, waited almost 40 minutes so that they could give me the AirCanada booking reference number which then enabled me to upgrade seats via AirCanada's website. Lucky thing too because there weren't many economy plus seats left. I consider myself to be a savvy traveler, but there were too many unknowns and hoops to jump through in order to get proper seating. Plus the extra fees for premier access and baggage are exorbitant. Finally, I bought an egg white flatbread snack which was awful. I don't see how United gets away with this treatment, it certainly doesn't make for an enjoyable experience when vacationing. In fact we are seriously considering not taking any more vacations requiring flying. We're happy that airlines are profitable, but not at the expense of comfort or navigating options that require very sophisticated knowledge.

Cons: The customer service was mediocre. The selection of complementary beverage was minimal compared to other airlines. The staff are disgruntled and sometimes rude. There was always some sort of mechanical problems with the plane going to Puerto Plata and coming back. On the way to DR we had to divert to Miami because of problems with Navigation. They made us wait seven hours and gave us a voucher for food at the last minute. People had already bought food. I would not recommend United to none of my associates.

(I am 70 and 4 hours is too long to sit) I usually get an isle seat but ALWAYS have to give up my bag at the gate - my bag which you tell me I can bring ON the plane with me. I do not like having to waste time claiming my bag that you told me I could have with me on the plane. I can pay $25 for that privilege!! The flight attendants always seem like they have their defenses up. One even held up the people trying to board so she could serve a drink to someone in first class. REALLY?? They couldn't wait till the plane was loaded?? I gave this flight a 'good' rating because it was mostly as good as it is going to get with economy passengers needs stripped to the bare minimum.

My cell phone was not working great, so had no entertainment

Pros: Crew staff went out of his way to find something for my aisle to snack on when the person next to me asked if there was any snacks on the plane. The plane had to be changed for another plane due to a mechanical issue on the first plane, and the new plane had not been stocked with food after it's previous flight, yet the crew member was able to scrounge up some snacks for us! Also got complimentary directtv - nice, but doesn't make up for not getting home in time yet again.
Cons: United sucks. I have flown it maybe 10-12 times in the past 2.5 years, mostly back and forth between Chicago and Boston. I have had only 3 round trip flights go without a hitch. Every other trip was delayed. This time 4 hours on my return flight to Boston due to a plane switch, boarding of a new plane to discover a mechanical issue, deboarding, waiting for a new plane, then boarding and sitting on the ground for another 40 min before we were able to take off. I was delayed 1.5 hours on the way to Chicago due to another plane swap (no joke). Still doesn't top but my worst 5 hour delay in Chicago on the way back to Boston because the captain didn't show up. United is atrocious and is my last choice or any airline. Only fly when I'm absolutely forced to now due to no other reasonable choices. They are below delta, JetBlue, American, southwest, and embarrassingly, spirit as well. Terrible.

Shouldn't basic functions be checked before a plane is boarded? What was supposed to be a 1030 red eye, turned out to be a 1 AM bloodshot eye.

Cons: The flight from SFO to BOS was delayed two hrs. No big deal inbound aircraft delay. However, they boarded everyone knowing the plane which was missing seat cushions wasn't ready for take off so we sat at the gate for an hour before a six hour flight that was sold out.
