Cons: "We sat on tarmac for 3 hours with no explanation from the crew or cockpit. Because of the delay, everyone missed their connections in Doha. The crews could have jet a couple of the flights a little longer for people to make their flights. The desk was filled with people and was very chaotic. There were so many people working there but no one could give you a straight answer so it was very confusing. I had to wait at the airport for 4 hours to get it sorted and was given a food voucher for $50 for the entire stop over. I asked about a flight voucher and they laughed and said they didn't do that even though they were the ones at fault. The crew was nice and the food was good but I will never fly quatar airways unless they remedy the situation."

We were misdirected to the ticketing/rebooking line which we sat in and watched the board change to boarding and later gate closing. There were only two agents at the desk helping the completely full queue. We were told that our reservation was apparently already changed to a later flight for some reason. Being delayed seven hours is a great way to start a honeymoon off."

Unfortunately, the French issued a year ago the following rule: to enter France, the foreign passport must not expire at least 3 months after the return date. British Airways let us fly to London, explaining this to us, how it would be on us if there were problems further down, and that we would have to get our luggage in London. We chose to fly thinking it would be OK, we had listened to an online person who had had the same problem and the French later told him they would have let him in, also I am myself a dual citizen of France and the US, plus I am autistic, an invisible disability (in my case) that makes it impossible for me to travel alone. I usually do not even say it since not much is understood -by those who do not have it- on how to accommodate it However in London BA did not allow my partner to go on. Due to the fact yesterday was Easter Monday, the American consulate in London was closed. We have spent the night in a nearby motel and now, the next day, I am waiting alone back at the airport with our 2 large suitcases while my partner is at the American consulate. We are poor, do not have phone, currency or charger for England, and I do not do well with stress, so it is difficult. Now we cannot easily reach one another. We hope to be able to fly on a standby basis (that's what BA told us we could hopefully do) later today. Sorry for this long letter, I hope it does not bore whoever reads it (if it is even read :). Cons: "Business class, Boeing 767-300 The seating configuration was 1/2/1 I would give these seats on a scale from 1 to 10 a 5, this was a very basic B/C seat, without a TV screen integrated to the seat in front of you, instead the flight crew hand out individual passenger entertainment systems, that are a pain to deal with and get in the way of everything your trying to do (ie eat, work, sleep.) I’m only 5’9 and I found when the seat was in the bed mode, the seat slopped down very slightly, and your feet would end up underneath the side table to the row of seats in front of you. As i wear a size 13 shoe, i found that space to be rather cramped especially for my feet."

I was unaware of this and was not allowed on our flight in Philadelphia because my passport would expire in two months. We lost an entire day in France because I had to go to the customs office the next morning and get an emergency passport. I travel frequently, but somehow was not aware of this rule. If I had known I would have fixed the issue months ago. Multiple people viewed my ticket and passport before arriving in Philadelphia and no one caught this error until right as I was boarding the flight to Paris."

Cons: "My flight IB 4190 from DFW to Paris on 11/11/17 @ 17:55 was operated by American Airline. I was denied to pay for my second check in bag for the simple reason that I didn't buy my ticket with American Airline!! According to American Airline agent (Danielle) at the counter, a ticket purchased with Iberia only allow 1 check bag for free and you are not allow to check in an additional bag. I called the travelling agency and Iberia customer service agent (Jose) while I was at the airport. They both told me that I should go with the luggage rule of American Airline which allow passenger to pay for a second bag. Danielle refused to talk to both agents I called. I need someone to tell me how my luggage can be send to me to Paris please. I had a very bad experience with this trip. Please help clarify the discrepancy!"

But I have a feeling this is common, and wish the airline would figure out a way to conduct updates, safely, without impacting everyone's schedule. My wife flew through same connection on the same airline a week later. And her flight was canceled. Maybe for the same issue? Unsure. It could have been a a bad luck streak."

Pros: "The flight crew was professional, friendly and competent. They served the dinner as early in the flight as possible."
Cons: "This was a plane with central screens along the aisle, and the airline chose to broadcast a sci-fi action movie with almost constant flashing blue light, and violent action scenes. This was first of all a movie that many people, including me, would never choose to watch, but since it was on the aisle screens there was no getting away from it. It was also unsuitable for children, even without sound. But mainly, I object to the showing of any film in that situation - only aisle screens available, and on a night flight where most of the passengers are trying to sleep. I was awakened several times by the flashing lights. Other things: one of the bathrooms was not very clean, and the plane felt like the usual cattlecar, with just 3 seats on each side of the aisle, which is unusual and unpleasant for a transatlantic flight."

This needs to change when the average seat is $800-900 and the flight holds 35 seats. AA is raking in WAY to much money to be this cheap. No WiFi and having to look up to the middle isle to watch a child's movie on repeat " Guardians of the Galaxy." My neck and back were in extreme discomfort from the 8 hr flight back to NYC. If AA had headrest monitors and WiFi this could be avoided. Its 2017 stop being cheap!"

Midway through the flight, the plane looked like a pigsty with garbage everywhere. When serving the meals, the stewardess just said to everyone, "You want it or not" and moved quickly with many people wondering why she was behaving so rudely. In addition, we couldn't get clear information about the baggage allowance. This is partially due to booking through Kayak where they don't tell you the baggage limit and some of the flights were code share flights even though all were with Air Canada. Couldn't tell if we had 1 or 2 bags included. This didn't help with our packing. In the end we had 2 bags and wish we bought more stuff."

Since some designer genius (thanks, Boeing!) put all the controls in the armrest, exactly where any normal human being will rest his/her elbows, the controls keep activating every time you lay your elbow in the armrest. That means, your games will cancel and restart a thousand times, your volume will keep shifting from deafening to mute, and the button calling for help from the crew keeps going "ping" all over the plane. The crew ignored the calls, surely since they know what goes on with the plane, but I wonder what would happen if somebody really needed help. In addition to that, the seats are incredibly uncomfortable, narrower than ever and hard as brick. Every time I board a new plane I wonder what can they do to make it even worse, and plane designers never cease to amaze me with new medieval tortures."

Pros: "I don't love to fly, so I wasn't thrilled about a 7 hour flight. Actually, the flight itself went well, good food (for an airplane), staff was VERY nice, and boarding was easy enough. My issue unfortunately the people sitting behind me with 2 kids under age 3-4 years old. One of the kids screamed and cried for probably close to 5 hours. I didn't sleep at all. At one point, he cried for a continuous 2 hours while he kicked my seat. I felt like the staff should have asked if they could help, maybe suggest walking him around, etc. The child must have had ear pain, he cried constantly. I felt so badly for him."
