Very little turbulence, smooth taking off and landing. I like that I was able to watch free movies without having to pay for WiFi."

Just felt it was rude. I pay for my flight. I was trying to rest on my 4 hour flight before I had to tend to daughter who had cancer, I need the rest. And for what I paid, I should be able to. Not listen to Alaska's drama within."
Pros: "This is a flight that locals and contractors take. Frequently, many people on the flight know each other. In Bethel, you will always board with stairs. The crew is very professional (though they may strange errors describing the terminal in Bethel because many of them have never been there), but this is changing as more and more pilots and crew have lived or do live in Bethel."
Cons: "Many times this flight is a combi, so no first class. Generally, no entertainment, and wifi cuts off after about 20 minutes. From time to time visiting contractors or short-timers won't stop talking on the flight about how much they hate Bethel (but have no trouble making a living from it)."

Cons: "Where do I start... even though I booked my flights in late July for this late August trip, and even spoke to a representative over the phone about my dog being my carry on item, they never mentioned to me that my first row seats in First Class didn't allow dogs. I had chosen my seats so my partner and I could obviously sit together, but on the day of my flight(s) is when they decided to change my preferred seat which I paid to reserve and moved me into another row in First Class but without sitting by my partner. We had to get our seats fixed before each flight which should have either been alerted to me in the first place or automatically found us seats together. Also, the First Class check in before TSA was useless, as we had to go through the Assistance line anyway and it added considerable time to my trip. Also, once we were at the gate, First Class didn't even board first, but had to wait after three different groups of people were allowed to board first (families with children, injured people, and veterans). While boarding them with some priority is not the issue it's that first class should go before these, then those special groups, THEN general boarding. What was the allure and advantage of First Class? Once I boarded my flight to Seattle and had finally been approached (in flight) by my stewardess about my meal and drink options, she easily asked others before me and listed their options but with me stared blankly and gave me a judgmental look when I ordered champagne and dinner, something almost every other person before me had said to her. After that, getting service was a joke. I had to press the call button to even get her to come by when I needed hot water for my asthma cough attack, and she never even returned to me so I could continue getting more hot water (that I needed). I felt she was doing this out of racism, as I was one of the only brown people in First Class and as I observed, the only one she singled out for this behavior. Also, the in flight tablet to watch movies had grainy, low resolution and all my films were edited for children (curse words were badly edited out) and I think this is unnecessary for anyone unless they are seated with children. I couldn't imagine paying for that tablet and watching such low quality videos on it at a further extension of that cost. Finally, I was accosted by this stewardess again as we were landing for my dog's carrier bag not being shoved even further under the seat in front of me (bear in mind, I never moved my dog or her bag at any time after I had initially placed her under her seat) and honestly I found that to be pretty insulting and humiliating when all I was doing was sitting there. First Class came with literally no perks other than alcohol and subpar food, which I would not pay that extravagant price for ever again. In fact, it left me with no intention at all to continue ever using services with Alaska airlines, even though I have to travel to Alaska often."

Pros: "We were flying international and bags were checked through to our final destination AND AA did not charge us for our checked bags because it was booked as part of an international ticket. (which I didn't learn before flying so it was a pleasant surprise, most airlines want to charge you for the domestic leg of your flight)! They allowed us to board early and were very accommodating for our family of 7. I finally figured out the in air entertainment on our devises, which didn't seem to work on our previous flight. Snacks were minimal."

If you can get your carry-on luggage checked for free, (only offered when the flights are full) this is an awesome service!"

The gate crew keeping us updated is what saved the name of Delta. If she didnt do that people would have been angry."

Three out of seven of the flight crew were not happy about how badly they were being treated by call center and /or management while they were delayed with us at gate. Snacks were brought out because of delay but they were just junk food. Nothing I could eat due to allergies."

Cons: "The private contractor handling wheelchair assistance was terrible. A Delta employee theorized that they do not pay enough to attract and retain personnel. Our pre-arranged chair was not there, multiple calls by our Delta assistant finally got us a ride to the chair holding area, but after about 45 minutes we gave up and shuffled off to the security area on foot. Thank goodness my hubby is mobile enough for that to have been an option. When we abandoned our wait we were still 4th in line for an attendant to push the chair. If Delta has any responsibility in this it would be in the retention and compensation for the private contractor."

They lost the only bag we checked and basically said too bad.

While struck on the second leg and speaking with AA customer service about the reschedule I was told that they didn't have the ability to rectify the error because they no longer had control of my ticket and that I had to take into consideration that three was an event in San Antonio that caused delays network wide that added tio the initial issue... HOGWASH! 1) it was another AA issue where an AA aircraft drive of the runway while I was in flight on the first errant leg. 2) if they had just been straight from the outset, I wouldn't have been delayed. I will never fly AA AGAIN!"
Pros: "I made it safely to my destinations and in a timely manner"
Cons: "The lack of space to breathe. Being herded like cattle to our seats."
Pros: "appreciated having enough room for my knees not to hit the seat in front of me"

Pros: "The crew was always very warming and assisting. Everything was a breeze."
Cons: "The first class flight attendants were VERY RUDE to the passengers getting on the plane, especially the male flight attendant. While serving drinks, instead of saying things like "pardon me", they would say "move" (as was said directly to me) and get out of the way" (as I herd him say to another passinger). Very disrespectful way to treat a person, let alone a paying customer! Btw...I am a middle class 5' 11" tall college educated male."
Cons: "I did not like how I requested a same day flight, was presented with a low fare, so I took it, and it was deceptively a different day months in the future. . . This is not a flight I feel I should have paid for, as I feel I was deceived"

Cons: "Delays due to to weather is not a new thing to worry, but flight delay should be informed early to the passengers so that I should have planned the arrival to the airport accordingly, but I was told just before the gate prior to boarding time and the delay was around 3 hrs."

Pros: "Not much, the plane and crew were fine. The RJ's are getting old and dirty though."
Cons: "Delayed, delayed, delayed. The crew is less than sympathetic. No way would I fly United if it wasn't a non-stop flight."
Pros: "There were five flights out of our gate and we couldn't hear who was supposed to board because three people would be cross talking at the same time. All united flights."
Pros: "Food, Movies, larger seats (we paid and upgraded)"
Cons: "4 hour delay with no explanation, crew members were confused and didn't know what to say over the loud speaker, they said the wrong words a few times and stuttered. Bags took 45 minutes to go baggage claim for pickup"
Pros: "It was generally quiet and peaceful. I called the stewards at one point and they were very prompt and attentive."
Cons: "Teeny tiny seats on an overnight flight? I had to ask my rowmates to clear the row so I could find my glasses that had fallen under my seat because there simply wasn't room to maneuver even an arm down to manually search for them. This is not to mention that most people sleep on these flights; how is that comfortable for most regular Americans?"

Pros: "The attendents were helpful and nice except in the situation I've listed in dislike. The plane left on time and arrived early and we didn't have to wait 20 minutes for a gate to open up."
Cons: "I chose the back window seat right in front of the restrooms. Crewmember even said it was the worst seat in the house. Although I didn't pay to upgrade, thee were available seats up there. The attendant even said she would ttry to move things around once people were seate without anyone asking. She just knew our row was going to be uncomfortable.. I am tall with big shoulders, the gentleman next to me was large. All that I ask is the attendant come back after all is settled and explain that it wasn't possible to move things around. Although, if there were seats available I should have been offered a different seat. I have flown a lot on different airlines. I've flown on a 15 hour flight overseas. This is BY FAR the most uncomfortable I have EVER been."
Pros: "I liked that I finally made it home despite all the drama."
Cons: "I didn't like that I booked a flight nearly 2 months ago to only find out I didn't have a seat. I do understand its legal but I don't get how you are putting customers first by causing this drama. I understand how that DR felt when your guards ripped him out of his seat. I spent nearly 3 hours trying to find babysitters and alternate rides all while the snotty lady at the desk kept saying "you may not be flying out today but I cant tell you for sure". So to insure the bottom line you overbook then bump people at your leisure? This little game effects many lives above and beyond just the passengers. I don't plan on booking with United ever again. Why would I? There are many other options that take customer service more seriously. I would love to speak to someone higher up in this organization. But, im sure that will never happen."

Cons: "My flight was cancelled after being delayed a few times. I was offered to be on standby on flights that's were overbooked the next day. The closest airport was 2 hours away with a different airline."
Pros: "Boarded on time. That is all."
Cons: "After boarding, we waited on the plane for a long time before they said there was a mechanical problem and we would need to deboard while they fix it. After waiting another four hours they finally canceled the flight. They couldn't get us another flight and said to come back the next day to see if there is another flight out."
Cons: "I was not told that if I voluntarily checked my carry on bag I wouldn't be able to make flight changes later."

And I was stuck in an unfamiliar airport for 10 hours waiting for a new flight through another airline. Oh and dod I mention the bag they lost for a whole day was 50lbs of fresh Alaskan seafood and yes it all was thawed.... I will never fly United airlines again."

Cons: "The flight was late/ delayed over 6 hours. The crew was rude and very unprofessional. This was the worst experience i have ever had flying. I can honestly say I will Never fly United airlines again. I understand that flights get delayed, but when every worker at the flight check in desk, and flight attendants are rude and have a smug attitude as if they don't care then at that point i walk away from ever doing business with you again."
