Cons: "The flight was delayed 6hrs 30 mins and changed departure gate twice. At no point was there a gate change announcement overhead (there were gate change announcements made for flights to Bermuda, Boston and San Francisco). During the boarding process many people stood and went in before their group was called, one agent noticed it and told the agent checking the boarding passes “all of these people are group A?” To which the other agent replied: “no, but I can’t do anything about it”. If there are group assignments, they need to honor that, as some people pay to board earlier."

She said that the only reason I found room was because, by volunteering to check my bag, I was allowed early boarding. I corrected her by telling her that, no, I boarded early because I paid US$45 for an Extra Space seat. She made a face gesture and rolled her eyes. Very childish and unprofessional. She also seemed to have trouble reading the instructions clearly."

Additionally when the delay is over 2 hrs they should allow rebooking without penalty, because for some people the trip becalmed useless that particular day because the delay caused the to miss their reasons for flying that day"

I get pretty motion sick on flights, especially on an empty stomach, so the snacks and meals at mealtimes have always made this my favorite airline. There was none of that this time around. It feels like JetBlue is letting itself turn into just another commercial airline - over priced flights and amenities for overrated service and a lack of care for the consumer. Not to mention we were late"

Cons: "The redesign of seats means that very few of Delta's planes can actually accommodate a sherpa-style pet carrier, even though they are an industry standard for in-cabin travel. Further complicating the problem is that the clearance under the seat varies depending where in the cabin you're seated. It's become an extremely stressful proposition for which I have the privilege of paying an extra +$100 each way whilst having to give up one of my carry ons. As far as I can see, the charge is just straight up greed, since no one would be able to use the space beneath the seat in front of me, anyway, and carrying on my cat cause zero extra work for the crew. I'm going to have rethink my loyalty to Delta. At least with Southwest, they'll let me check two bags for no additional cost."

Second, on the flight back the flight attendants on flight SY600 from Phoenix at 8 am on Monday Feb 5 were really snippy. I was sitting in row 8 and went to use the bathroom at the front and was practical blocked by two flight attendants, first telling me to move to row 4 or go to the back because someone was in their in a nasty tone. Then when it was clear I was questioned what row I was in. I noticed first class went way downhill too. They serve drinks in plastic cups, the food was in a box and not on a plate and my luggage came before the first class people. I flew this airline because of the prices but yippy get what you pay for so I'll no longer fly them. Their hold times are, also extremely long when toy call in"

Cons: "No one at desk for check in, then when boarding there was a man standing in the aisle that would not allow me to pass, I had an infant in my arms but he refused to move even after multiple requests. I had to squeeze past him. When plane was fully boarded he started to vomit. He vomited multiple times before we started moving. Steward asked him if he was okay to fly and he did not answer, just nodded a bit. He continued to vomit, was unable to use the bag properly, he appeared highly intoxicated. He vomited into the aisle and all over our shoes and pant legs and carry on bags. We told the stewards who went and grabbed a package of paper towels and shoved them at us. They moved the passengers on the other side of him up to the front of the plane but said nothing to us. No one apologized. Twice we were told our baby was the baby of the year but that was the only remark."

The plane itself was definetely not renovated for quite some time (the interior). Not too comfy seats, but had worse. Boarding was a bit unusual - they're splitting the passengeres to maaaaaany groups - military, no carry-on luggage, disabled, with kids, with carry on to put under the plane, first class and finally the regulars... Not sure if that actually speeds up the process, seems officious.."

Cons: "The airline is so outdated and behind the times of their competitors, their in that they don't have in flight entertainment unless you download their app and give them your email address. On top of that when I originally booked my flights, I had made sure to have 1.5 hr for a layover between my connecting flights. Well, they decided to move up my connector such that I had 25 minutes to run across 2 terminals. They only give you pretzels on the plane, and a single soda drink. They offer you "food bundles" but why do I want to pay $8 for a sandwich that costs $1 to make."

Woman was very gracious and understanding that she was asking for an accommodation. Ends up her flight to Philly had been moved to a different gate after they had found a volunteer to switch seats. Volunteer was totally unfazed but Desk crew made it seem as tho the Muslim mom was at fault for the time and trouble they had had to go through to accommodate her. She apologized profusely and was very appreciative for the trouble evernote had gone to for her. . As she walked away the crew looked at each other and shook their heads. Pretty crummy way to treat customers!"

If you offer seats on rows with no window, it should be at a discounted fair and the airlines should explain there is NO window on that row. (This would be extremely helpful for those that experience claustrophobia.) I was very disappointed because there was NO window. One of the flight attendant that served me drinks was very agitated (she was having a very bad day) and it was apparent in her service."

Normally this is not a big deal, but in Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport the two airlines are in different terminals which required a fair amount of time to travel from one to the other. Had I not arrived at the airport early, I may have missed my flight. The confirmation email I received was labeled as an American flight, but since I received it from Alaska, I assumed I had reserved an Alaska flight. Also, the confirmation email I received from Kayak had me listed as a passenger on an Alaska flight. I'm assuming I originally booked for an Alaska flight, but later on in the confirmation process I was somehow changed to an American flight via Alaska. While I don't see this as a problem for Kayak, I think this is a situation in which your feedback could be useful to help avoid confusion for passengers in the future."

Cons: "The plane was very old, the crew was unprofessional and further only provided drink service once in 4 hours. It was mass chaos boarding because the flight that landed was late as well."

Cons: "American Airlines left us more than 3 hours inside the plane at the gate to cancel the flight afterwards. They said it was a mechanical problem, and then told us it was just fixed and that they were just waiting for paperwork to be on our way. 3 hours later they decide to cancel the flight. Crappy communication with travelers, terrible attention at the counter to try to make new arrangements. Not a single American Airlines representative in customs to give orientation to the travelers having to go through the whole thing after the flight was cancelled. In summary, an epic mess. Will avoid AA when possible."

Pros: "The crew was friendly and I got to my destination safely."
Cons: "The auxiliary power unit on our Airbus 321 (the engine in the tail of the plane) was not working, so the air conditioning vents were non-operational before takeoff, and the engines had to be started by an additional device at the airport. Not the greatest way to start a trip. I know there are tolerances that allow flights with certain broken parts, but auxiliary power on a flight starting in the Southwest United States seems important. Also, the Gogo in-flight WiFi was not working. I am a T-Mobile customer, so it should have been free, but I never got more than Google's home page to load, so I watched a movie on my iPad instead. I wasn't expecting the WiFi, so I flew fine without it. But, for it not to work after they announced it was available was a little disappointing. The "new" American Airlines seems worse, to me."

Pros: "Being number one on the upgrade list at boarding, I appreciated being upgraded to first class as an Executive Platinum member."
Cons: "The pilot provided no departure or arrival information; he simply said cabin crew take your places for take off, and on arrival, he simply said the aircraft was one hundred miles from landing in twenty minutes with no other details enroute."

Cons: "I am a platinum member. My bag was 5 lbs over weight. I had to take items out of the suitcase and put them in my carry-on!! They weighed my suitcase and even make me take 1 lb out because the scale was 51 lbs, instead of 50! Furthermore, the flight was half empty. Then I had one extra package that I wanted to check. I was told to take it as a carry-on. I told them I thought it was too large. They disagreed. In any event, I took the package to security and was told it was too large! I am really disappointed in the service and am hoping this is not because American Airlines is now running US airways."

Cons: "First class flight attendant did not recognize me by name or as an Executive Platinum member; aircraft window screen next to seat 1A was inoperative; pilots provided minimal communications and were very uninformative."

The whole time, we kept trying to explain to the different airport staff that we had a connecting flight that we needed to catch, however nothing was being done by any of the parties to ensure that we would make it to our connecting flight. All parties (Customs, TSA, & American Airlines) just kept trying to pass the blame to each other instead of helping us and were rude on top of that. The delays were out of our control causing us to not only miss our flight, but also caused us to have to spend more money to stay at a hotel in Phoenix since the next flight available was not until the morning. This situation has also caused both my husband and me to miss work, causing us to miss out on today's wages. This entire situation has been the worst airport experience we've ever had, and we've traveled all over the world. Pros: "Flight late due to discovery of radio not working just before flight departure. My seats had less room than seate in front of me and it would not recline leaving me an unacceptable amount of space."
Cons: "It got to Hawaii and my bags also made it. Since flight was late I could not get my rental car costing me more money."

Cons: "Our flight arrived at LAX 20 minutes early so expected to get my connecting flight on time. Boy was I wrong, we sat inside the plane on the runway for over an hour. It was getting hot inside and people were getting upset about missing their connecting flights. We went around in circles on the runway, about 3 times. As people were getting agitated, so was the stewardess. Also people had to use the restroom, and the stewardess kept asking people to stay in there seats and she begin to lose her cool. What do you expect when your on the runway for over an hour. When people got to go, they got to go. So after finally arriving at the gate, "late" United did get me on another flight thru Alaska which was great. Will I fly United again, hmm I'm sure I will, One bad experience won't scratch them off my list, but I will choose other airlines first and United will be my last resort."

This same passenger walked to the back where the food and beverages were to serve herself water. Once seen, the flight attendant told her to go back to her seat. My boyfriend's television controller didn't work and he had to use mines. He sat in his seat and had to watch a movie that was in front of my seat. Overall, it was a rough start to his birthday celebration."
