Long flight! Use the bathroom just prior to boarding, do some stretching exercises too.
JFlew with Delta-Mar 2026
Check in with both airlines if there is a "partnership" because they don't tell you everything automatically after you buy the ticket
JenniferFlew with Alaska Airlines-Apr 2026
They are serious about having only 2 items when you walk on board. It doesn't matter how small your purse is.
CandiceFlew with American Airlines-Jan 2026
I would not purchase any food on these flights because they are expensive. It is best to bring your own snacks if you want to save money. Download movies onto your phone or tablet, don’t pay for their expensive WiFi! Check in on the airline’s app 24 hours prior so that all you have to do is print your luggage tags. Add your boarding passes to your phone. No more paper boarding passes which is more convenient.
MitchellFlew with Delta-Jan 2026
If you need to make a change due to weather, book early
Verified travelerFlew with Alaska Airlines-Nov 2025
If you get cold, bring a blanket, or don’t be afraid to ask for one. Meal does not include veggies so eat a salad beforehand. Bring plugin headphones for movies.
Verified travelerFlew with Air Canada-Apr 2025
All was great would surly book again and recommend Be on the ball and find gate before landing
Verified travelerFlew with American Airlines-Mar 2025
Don't get a middle seat if you have long legs
Verified travelerFlew with American Airlines-Jan 2025
Southwest seems to board and unload about as smooth as any airline - carry on items seem to work as smooth as any airline I have used. Southwest also does not charge to check bags which seems to encourage people to check bags instead of bring an enormous carry on item that does not fit well in the cabin.
JonathanFlew with Delta-Jan 2025
Delta is great! Make sure to get to their airport early though. PHX security is a zoo.
StaceyFlew with American Airlines-Feb 2025
Don’t be that person who holds up the plane because of your carry on. Whether putting in over bin (able to lift it on your own) or refusing to not listen when space is full and need to check it.
DavidFlew with Air Canada-Sep 2024
Be PreTSA approved, it makes the enterire process more efficient T.
Verified travelerFlew with Frontier-Oct 2024
Get there extra early when you fly frontier and make sure your personal bag isn’t oversized!
CHARLESFlew with American Airlines-Mar 2024
Make use of the food, beverages, and amenities in American Admirals Club in PHX before departure on any flight.
Verified travelerFlew with Alaska Airlines-Apr 2024
Using TSA pre-check makes everything go a lot smoother. Well worth the money.
LuisFlew with American Airlines-May 2024
Google the airplane they will fly in to see if it will be comfortable or not. I recommend the 777-200ER
GavinFlew with American Airlines-Jan 2024
Choose an airline like Southwest, where you check your bags for free.
SissiFlew with Spirit Airlines-Feb 2024
If flying Spirit-Bring food/drinks, a ton of things to do, a pillow and if you have issues sitting on a firm surface, bring something to sit on

You could have NOT left me and my family high and dry by not completing the reservation changes because they no longer have the contract from Phoenix AZ to Moab Utah. There wasn't even a ticket agent for Contour in Phoenix to talk to. Cost my an additional $1600. to rent a vehicle to get my family to Utah. Now I'm left with trying to have someone make it right financially. I'm not optimistic..........

I’ve flown Contour on 4 different flights in the last couple weeks and every one of the flights were significantly delayed. Like over 2 hours delayed. 3 of the 4 were due to maintenance and one was weather, which is beyond their control. If this continues, I will not fly them anymore. It makes me concerned that they don’t have great maintenance practices. The planes are very old and worn out and the interiors need improvement. I do like the amount of space you have between seats for legroom. They also started charging for bags recently, which I think the did when they partnered up with American Airlines as a codeshare partner. American is also a disaster of an airline so I wish they had some agreement with Delta. I am glad they offer a major airline parternership though. That is certainly giving people more opportunities. I won’t fly Contour unless they have a direct flight to where I am going. If I have to connect then I am going to take Delta. The bus at the DFW airport to get on and off the aircraft is a pain and adds so much extra time to your travel experience. I hope this is temporary while they are building a new terminal, but I don’t know.

Short flight so no entertainment and none expected or appropriate. Everyone I dealt with was professional and helpful. A good experience.

Love it. No Frills but better than Spirit No Frills. It's like a simple luxury private plane especially if you've got five or six people on it because then you probably got your own section of the plane.

All the staff were amazing! The flight was quick, everything went smoothly, I have nothing but good things to say about this flight. Thank you Contour!

It was easy, efficient from start to finish. The flight attendant was amazing. Smooth ride. It was just perfect.

We had a great experience on both of our flights! Crew was great…..the ride was smooth…and checking in was easy. We will definitely fly with them again.

This was my first time flying with Contour and the Greenbrier Valley Airport. It both were excellent and the price couldn’t be beat!

Not on time. Taxied around the airport for 30 MINUTES! The pilot never said a word. Ai

Great flight, professional crew, convenient and interesting nonstop routes. Had trouble with getting precheck listed on boarding pass, but found that customer service was remarkably responsive via email — unheard of with other carriers. A great experience overalll.

Paid for wifi but it didn't work once. Seats were incredibly cramped and passengers sitting in front was reclined the entire time and staff did nothing

No food. I paid over $1.000 for my ticket for nuts and espresso beans.

Although there were two delays, they were communicated clearly and the boarding process was expedited. The crew was pleasant and efficient.

I was able to check into my flight through the app and online but had issues getting my boarding pass once I arrived to the airport.

Food is what you expect on a plane. Nothing gluten free. But that is expected. Drinks, apple juice, was fine. Seat, what I expected. Fine.

The flight attendants were very friendly, efficient, and helpful. The plane was ahead of schedule, and it all went very smoothly. Thank you.

not sure why you ask about food, I n3ver get food on flights except maybe cookies or pretzels. wifi was slow and in and out most of the flight not good.

Like: flights are on time, good boarding process Can improve: planes are old, improve entertainment and make space more comfortable

I'm not sure American is capable of on-time arrivals and departures. When you land at ORD, you almost always get held on the tarmac because your gate is still occupied. I may have missed my connection, but that ended up up being significantly delayed as well. Once again, I finally got home well after midnight.

there are no options s for snack besides cookies would ve nice to have a salty option n
