When seeking guidance from crew members about the flight's boarding different answers were given at different time. First it was no delay, just the plane getting closer to the gate, later followed by a 10 mins wait that later became over 30 mins. Once we finally made it on the flight, when requesting a beverage the only option given is water or orange juice and if you have any dietary restrictions (even when providing said information to the airline) you will remain without food on the shorter flights."

Cramming more seats into a finite space seems to be what all airlines are doing these days. This of us whom are above average in height are forced to insure a more painful and uncomfortable flight as a result."

Poor advert for Qatar, after nearly an hour of queuing I would think most passengers wished they had gone somewhere else."

Cons: "The flight was delayed by 4 hours because maintenance needed to change a tire on the airplane. The delay would have been acceptable if it wasn't for the excuses the airline offered. First, they said maintenance couldn't find a spare tire, and when they did rob a tire from another plane, they said the delay was due to FAA paperwork. These reasons, most likely true, suggest American Airlines (British Airways sub-contracted this flight to its partner, American Airlines) was not prepared to handle such an emergency."

To me, that's above and beyond, being in the service industry myself. The entertainment was really diverse and offered many options. The food was good and the red wine was excellent. The pilot gave us regular updates about the flight and the weather in Barcelona, our destination. The seats were roomy and comfortable. Restrooms were very clean."

When we try to check in for seating, we ended up having to pay significant fees to get seats together. The seat my husband was sitting in (30A window seat), the touch screen seemed to have some technical issues, for it did not recognize when you touch the screen. It was a bit frustrating trying to select entertainment. Also, when checking in from our original departure location, MCO, we were not provided our boarding pass or luggage tags for our final destination, Barcelona, only to our connecting flight, Philadelphia. The connecting flight was delayed in MCO for an 1 hour and a half, after we have boarded the plane, therefore almost cost us to be late for our final flight to Barcelona. Since we were not given our boarding passes for PHL to BCL it caused confusion when trying to board our plane in PHL to Barcelona, and also caused for our baggage to not arrive with the flight. After landing, we spent an additional 2 hours at the Airport going through customs, and waiting on line for the lost and found desk for baggage in Barcelona. The lost and found desk had three agents available to assist, however we can only talk to one which was designated specifically for American Airlines. This caused a very long wait time of 1 hour. We were advised the bags stayed in Phildelaphia since they did not have the additional luggage tags, and will not arrive till the next day. Overall the experience within the Airport service desks and baggage check in' s was not a pleasant experience. I believe many of these issues could have been avoided if the American Airlines agents were more knowledgeable and attentive."

It had high tech windows that adjusted the amount or type of light that could filter through the windows depending on the settings."

Pros: "First off I’m a Diabetic and some of my diabetic medication and or supplies are with me and some in my LOST checked luggage. I currently say lost because it Day 3 in Ibiza and the luggage never left Newark with my flight originally and is supposedly in Barcelona while I’m here. Called everyday for updates on my bag and they give you very little useful info. Oh and the 7:45 departure last Thursday didn’t leave until 2:30am, then they kicked us out of our economy plus seats picked for comfort and tossed us in middle aisle seats some place else which were ridiculously uncomfortable. There’s no entertainment except in first class and this is a 777 huge jet. Filing a claim, sending a letter to their ceo, a letter to he DOT, and grabbing a good lawyer friend for counsel on this because it’s a disaster. I had to buy everything I needed which isn’t enough and I’m also running out of diabetic supplies since the rest I’d my lost / delayed luggage. So delayed flight by 6hrs, kicked out of original seats, lost and delayed luggage, airlines seems to refuse to send it to my hotel through other carriers, 3days and no luggage and wondering if they are going to send it to Ibiza while I’m heading back to Barcelona today. No one calls me or emails or updates me on any status changes of where my bag is and what’s going on. Their customer service sucks and it’s some guy or girl in another country who gives no fks about your situation. I will never fly with United again"

Cons: "We left late because they were waiting for people from another flight that got canceled to transfer to our flight, and even with the delay, one of my bags got lost. I was the third person to check in for the flight, so I'm not sure how that happened."

Cons: "We booked Lufthansa and paid more for our ticket to have this airline. We ended up on a united flight which we did not want. They have no TVs and tiny seats which is absolutely ridiculous considering it’s international travel. If we book one airline we expect to get the airline we paid for."

Cons: "My seat was changed 24 hours before the flight inexplicably from an aisle seat to a center seat which is problematic for me. I will most likely not book through Kayak or Lufthansa again on a United codeshare because of this experience."

Cons: "Seat uncomfortable for a flatbed. Seemed to have a gap that needed a pillow to fill. Seat wasn't completely clean when I boarded. Used water bottles in the seat pocket. Toilet was unclean before the flight even took off. At check in they didn't specify the lounge to be used. Unclear instruction regarding the availability of a separate business security line."

Cons: "Flight got cancelled cause of issues with plane. Took over 5 hours in line to get to the counter to talk to someone. There were only 2 counter people for first 3 hours. Once at counter ther had to put us on flight for next day. (Just informed 5 min ago that flight has been delayed another day cause of plane issues.) they couldn't get us to sit together which I understand but also put me in a middle seat which I'm clostraphobic so that sucks. Told me that I can book a hotel to stay at and they would reimburse me.... eventually. Fought over that for an hour and they finally agreed to pay for Hotel. Overall the trip was great but the departure from Kauai has been real bad. Still waiting to leave the island."

Her flight was delayed, delayed again, delayed again, and then cancelled. She was flying alone and should have received top priority and been one of the first called up to figure out how to get her to her destination. But that did not happen. She didn't know what to do at first then got in the long line of people and waited her turn. ONLY TO BE TOLD THAT HER ONLY OPTION WAS TO FLY OUT ON A LATER FLIGHT TO HOUSTON WHICH WOULD MAKE HER MISS HER CONNECTING FLIGHT ANT THEN STAY THE NIGHT ALONE IN HOUSTON AND WAIT THE ENTIRE NEXT DAY THERE UNTIL 9 THE NEXT NIGHT TO CATCH HER FINAL FLIGHT TO SALT LAKE CITY. I cannot even explain how angry and horrified I was that your airline thought that was acceptable for an unaccompanied minor! Clearly this one option that was offered to her by you was not accepted. Then she calls and a guy tells her he can get her there and is going to book her new flights.....only to get disconnected and never called her back. After that there was no one to be found at the desks for your airline. At this point I had driven back to the airport (spent hours driving and waiting) when a wonderful lady from a different airline helped my daughter out and got her on a different airline. However she had to check her bag due to her seating after all the hard work she put in to not checking her bag."
