Checkin was greuling slow and an excruciating experience at the Indira Gandhi international airport. There were only 4 windows open to check in 300 passengers. It took me 50 mins to get to the window. I was there 3+ hours before departure time upon arrival from my domestic flight that arrived on Terminal 2. Security took another hour and no one from the flight ground staff came looking for me to expedite my security unlike the KLM staff. KLM staff was looking for their passengers going to Frankfurt in the security and immigration area for a good half hour. Also, I tried multiple times the day of my flight to WEB CHECKIN. the Qatar website and APP didn't let me do that either. I nearly missed my flight and was the last one to board!!!! I hope the airlines adapts to handle larger volume of passengers given the type of Airport rules and regulations. For example, IGA at New Delhi has an additional Immigration step before security that added an additional 45 min to my time to board the plane. Thank you and I hope a real human actually reads this survey response and it doesn't end up being processed by a computer bot that lacks human compassion and emotional IQ.

Seats were dated (seat cushions), plane was dated, inflight entertainment systems dated (compared to most other airlines). Crew goofed up on food. I had a seat change which I informed the Sr Purser who came to take food order, his colleague who came to serve drinks. Still the server gave my food to the other passenger who had requested to change seats. Which resulted in no food for me. They clamoured some meal fro economy class and served so shabbily (only a pic can show how shabby it was - unfortunately I can't attach one here). In spite of all this the purser showed no remorse or offered no apology. I think I made a mistake in choosing BA, should have never come back to them."

I had to take Air India home to the US AND HATED IT... thank you BA and especially Heathrow Number one for lack of response and total irresponsibility..."

Secondly, I exchanged my round trip ticket because their flight time changed and some genius cancelled my return trip and it took me 1.5 hours to figure it out. That also caused me to walk around BWI twice from American Airlines to British Airways. Lastly, NO PRECHECK!? Dumb. Flight attendants were great...everyone else is bad."

This is not customer service. Let’s not pretend. Flying American is transactional at best. I pay for transportation, the airline provides transportation (unbound by comfort and convenience)… the end. No one is there to impress or innovate, they simply just exist as part of the transportation process. Avoid if you have other options.
Flight attendants were pleasant especially considering the flight was full. Charger in my seat was inoperable and no entertainment available.

The lines to get vouchers were super long, and the hotel was not the best. It was way after midnight when I got to the hotel, and I did not feel safe staying at a Quality Inn. I had to walk to my room outside, and had leave in the morning in the dark as well. I was traveling alone. Please put your passengers in a better hotel, closer to the airport. I did not expect that from American Airlines."

Cons: "ORD -> LAX We sat on the Tarmac for 45 mins without any communication. We ended up landing on time, but I was connecting to an international flight, so this naturally caused me and my companion a great deal of unnecessary stress. LAX -> ORD I arrived at the gate prior to the 10 minute before take off deadline and the gate attendant said I couldn't board and walked away. I sat and waited several minutes until a gate attendant returned where they proceeded to call stand by passengers. I was checked in and present, but not allowed to board. So I approached a different attendant, explained and he looked surprised that I wasn't boarded. He then without asking me any questions or checking with me typed on his computer and then handed me a new boarding pass for a new flight 1:25 later. I boarded that plane and sat for over an hour. The pilot had no updates for us other than the delay was a maintenance issue, saying repeatedly that he would check again in 15 mins. Finally after wasting more time we had to deplane and wait for a new one. Ultimately I was not allowed to board my original flight without explanation, which then caused me to have over 3:30 in delays. This is all after I had arrived from an international destination, which made the ordeal very miserable. This type of awful experience is a pattern with American Air - rarely are my flights on time and I've had more cancellations with American than any competitor airline. Anything but A full refund would not be acceptable. Thank you, Randi"
I’m glad this flight had a snack service as this flight generally only has non-alcoholic beverage service. The Canadair regional 200 jet is one of the worst aircraft experiences you can ride, but it’s better than flying the Dash 8.

Pros: "The entertainment worked for like most of the time (surprisingly) and I got an extra seat next to me."
Cons: "What can you expect from united... the crew members were terrible absolutely unprofessional and unwilling to help. We were delayed for 3 hours in Taipei due to an issue with the plane that they were trying to fix. During this time many people were trying to change flights as they had connections in SFO. When they asked the hostesses for help, they either got rude unhelpful responses or got completely ignored. United really needs to train their flight attendants better."
Pros: "Flight was shorter than expected"
Cons: "Bathrooms were dirty and sound wasn't working for first in flight movie"

Cons: "Ended up missing our connector flight into Boise. They gave us a food voucher and a hotel room. Very pissed off! Made me miss a full day of work on Monday the 23rd."
Pros: "United is definitely improving. The service was attentive and friendly. When I asked for PJ's, the flight attendant made a good effort to retrieve them for me. I slept through the entire flight, very rare unless the conditions were optimal for sleep."
Cons: "While this flight was fine, my flight to Taipei was riddled with poor service. A bad and forgetful flight attendant can make all the difference. As United adjusts their service to the new Polaris configuration on newer planes, conditions will hopefully improve."
Pros: "The seats were uncomfortable. The staff was cold. The food was horrible, I wasn't even able to eat some of it. The chicken was full of bones and grissle. The rest just tasted bad. Most of their planes did not have screens in the back of the seats. Instead they wanted you to watch on your personal device via their app which worked sub par. The baggage on the return flight was delayed and I almost missed my next flight even though I had a 2 hour 40 min layover. Thankfully that flight was delayed 1 hour and a half. Next time I will stick with airlines I know better. Delta, Emirates, and Qatar all offer superior service and upscale aircraft. The 2k spent was not worth what I received."
Pros: "Flight attendants sence of humor when we finally landed at the right airport."
Cons: "Landing at the wrong airport."

Cons: "No entertainment. The snacks tasted old and I wasn't even sure what some of the things in the mix were. The flight seemed really long."
Cons: "It was the most uncomfortable seats and the plane was delayed. My luggage was also damaged."
Cons: "I am Asian who was not allowed using restroom located in the front of airplane close to the 1st class cabin, but people sit next to me can. I feel insulted."

Cons: "The delay at the end of a long day kicked our butts. United's communication via boarding agents, the United App, etc was terribly delayed and unacceptable. Not having pilots in place to fly the plane was unacceptable. We will find an alternate airline in the future if possible."

Cons: "The two squalling children two rows back. They were obviously upset and the parents were apparently newbies to traveling with infants and toddlers. The parents were almost as annoying as the children. That's just the way it goes while traveling. c'est la vie"
Pros: "The crew was excellent, mindful, courteous at all times. The food was warm, well-cooked, fresh with a variety to please most eaters."
Cons: "The seats were a bit worn and mildly uncomfortable, but otherwise the flight was incredibly enjoyable."
Cons: "Flight attendants were very unpleasant, when they were handing out the little snacks bags the guy threw mine into my seat instead of handing them over to me. Also the plane was filthy and there were dirty Q-tips in the seat back pocket in front of me that I had to look at the whole time"

Cons: "Information about seating for people with disabilities was not readily available. I purchased extra room seating then found out my co-passenger was entitled to it without extra charge. United refunded fees."
