"I booked this reservation 2mo in advance with 2 lap babies. When i called to add the babies they never told me about the lap baby rule. If I would have known i would have bought my toddler her own seat no problem. They moved my seats far from each other. My babies need to sit near their mom it was a redeye. At check in the manager did us a “favor” and moved us to adjacent aisle seats… in the last row. Those seats don't recline and the constant people, flushing and talking woke the babies up all night. No one slept. The main attendant couldn’t be bothered and had a, get over it bad attitude. Oh did i mention i had a dog at my feet also?? Every time they were woken up by the bathroom (constantly) my babies would cry for their mommy and i could only hold on at a time. adjacent seats from mommy is not comforting . Why on earth would we be moved to those seats?! I know why. We were discriminated against for having babies. “Put the babies in the back.” I was a 4x a year flyer at minimum. We will NEVER fly with AA again and i will be filing a complaint. You should be ashamed of your treatment of a family and young children."

Pros: "I was not expecting the ample leg room and arm space. I was actually comfortable. It made such a huge difference in my day. The crew members were great and it was a pretty chill experience, which is not how I can describe any other flight in recent memory."
Cons: "The entertainment was just snippets from NBC shows that I’m not interested in. It was the same presentation on both legs of my trip, so even if I had been interested initially, I would have gotten bored the second time around."

Cons: "When we arrived at the Aspen airport, American Airlines was having a complete breakdown checking-in passengers for our flight. Some waited 2.5 hours to check a bag -- at an airport with very few flights and small planes. Clearly there was no management onsite – or that management was completely inept. AA agents on the ground simply did not prioritize passengers trying to make flights, nor did they ask flyers without urgent issues if they could step aside. Even worse, they spent 1.5 hours helping one customer – when that customer simply could have gone online or called reservations to get the appropriate assistance. Honestly, I personally stepped in to do what your personnel should have been trained to do: show empathy to calm passengers, ask one irate man to have some sympathy for those behind him in line, and finally, prioritize the people trying to check bags for the 2pm flight ahead of others. AA personnel only engaged the irate customer and threatened to call security when he pulled out his camera phone – it simply inflamed an already bad situation."

Pros: "I have to use crutches to walk and before bording one of the attendants noticed me and changed me to priority bording and seatimg on the plain, she then came and helped me making sure I was the first person to board the plain."
Cons: "I've never been help so much by a flight staff they were fantastic. The food was topical airplain food but the entertainment was pretty good and the over all experience was really nice."

Cons: "The fact that my original seats were not given. The other issue was that Alaska wasn’t my airline but American was. They didn’t even tell me until I got to the gate, moved over to another and then got transferred over to my gate."

Cons: "Baggage was damaged, which required a claim to be submitted. Company policy requires me to take the damaged baggage home, empty it, and return it to the airport. The airport is 1-1/2 hours from my house. They inconvenience me by handling my baggage like an ape and then continue to inconvenience me by requiring me to go way out of my way to get it repaired. American Airlines apparently does not understand what customer service means."

Pros: "quiet dark plane, gave blankets for overnight flight. Got placed in an exit seat free of charge."
Cons: "Crew member was 20 min late and they would not let us board until he got there. Ended up making the flight 30 minutes late and I almost missed my connection. They didn't update us saying he was on his way or anything, just that we were "still waiting." No entertainment was visible from my seat either."

Pros: "Again the wheel chair attendant was helpful, patient and considering we were not feeling well, assisted us at customs. We are seasoned travelers and this is not usually how our travels usually go. We appreciated the wheelchair services, the flight attendants."

After 8 hour delay at airport (boarding plane, on the runway) they turned us around and flight was delayed to the next day. I luckily got a direct on United and will avoid American at all costs."

Cons: "The flight on the way west was awful. It left Albany almost two hours late making me miss my connection to LA. At Newark airport the next two flights were overbooked so United put me up in a hotell The next morning the first two flights were overbooked but they put me on the third flight. That was supposed to come into LAX a half hour early but a passenger became very ill so they landed in Des Moines for the medical emergency. I realize that wasn't United's fault, but I don't think it should have taken so long to take off, and we were well over an hour late upon arrival."

Cons: "Flight 1039 dec 16 was delayed due to late inbound arrival to Aruba. United gave the reason "delayed Maintenance" which United denied as mechanical failure. We missed connected flight to Albany. United gave us only option: morning flight to Washington and then To Albany which is inacceptable option. We took rental car. Also: Workers at Newark do not coordinate. Super Slow and give disinformation."

Cons: "The prior flight was delayed because after taxing, a crew wanted to remove an uncooperative passenger and went back to the gait. Subsequently, we arrived in Washington DC with only a few minutes before our next flight Albany was scheduled to leave. Because we had to do check our carry-on bags, we were 5 minutes later to the gait where the airline refused to wait for us to board although another passenger who did not have to wait for her bag was able to board the flight Albany. We therefore had to take a shuttle to Reagan international Airport, fly on a different airline to Hartford Connecticut, rent a car and drive 2 hours to finally reach our destination in Albany."
