Cons: "Momondo sold me a so called 'go light' ticket (not disclosed anywhere though) meaning that only 1pc of carry on was allowed! No checked bags unless purchased. Could not see on the price of my ticket that this was the type of new generation low quality tickets. So tired of momondo."
Cons: "The flight was cancelled without explanation"
Pros: "Didn't seem to take long. Crew was friendly. Landing was great."
Cons: "I assumed we got a meal, but perhaps I'm mistaken there."
Cons: "Delayed flight - 2 1/2 hrs. No advance info. Departure gate change after check in. No Info at original gate. Unfriendly staff. No apology. No explanation for delay. Food substandard, even for cheap airlines."
Pros: "Overall I was very pleased with your level of service and would highly recommend SAS airline for anyone traveling from New York City New Jersey area abroad ! The planes were new clean and the level of service was exceptional . I am in the Hotel hospitality industry as an executive corporate chef . I enjoyed the service of your steward wearing the chef jacket ,, very impressive."
Cons: "Not much I didn’t like !"
Pros: "The fact that I was lucky and the plane was not full and got two seats to myself"
Cons: "Terrible planning with too few ticket counters that created a huge line and massive delays First European airline that I have travelled that offered no food"
Cons: "Noen hadde spydd på bordet på sete 1A, flyttet til 2A"
Pros: "Crew, food"
Cons: "Boarding could have been smoother. Entertainment system could have a better selection of movies and tv programs"
Pros: "On time good food excellent entertainment clean plane good crew"
Pros: "Flight left on time, the plane was clean and comfortable, but the staff could do with some additional training."
Cons: "They did not serve coffee in our table, the cabin crew were abrupt, almost rude, and in my opinion they can do better."
Pros: "Friendly staff. Great hot fresh bread! On time."
Cons: "Not applicable"
Pros: "Great crew, on schedule."
Cons: "SAS is packing in 200 passengers in their Airbus 321, so no space and seat comfort like 0. Also make sure you have paid for bags, Kayak will sell you tickets that don't include bags.so double check your reservation. If you are stuck with a ticket that doesn't include bags, call SAS an add bags $35 per bag. Do this at least 24 hours before departure.SAS is the only one that can add the bags, kayak is unable to add bags after purchase."
Pros: "Only that it was the shorter part of the trip."
Cons: "Seat was tight and did not recline at all. Back was killing me. Flight attendants came across as rude the way they spoke to the people. No entertainment at all. Not even water was offered."
Pros: "The flight attendants were pleasant. We received pillows and blankets and a bottle of water upon boarding. Dinner and a snack was served. The seats are comfortable."
Cons: "The snack was some kind of pickled vegetable strudel. I wish I could have had a choice of something else. I didn't like that for the whole we were only offered one complementary soft drink."
Pros: "The seat are different from any other airplane I've traveled with the way the recline make a tremendous difference in the comfort."
Pros: "The crew and aircraft were nice."
Cons: "Checking into the flight in Athens was a complete cluster. The cue line was rerouted multiple times for passengers checking into the flight. This caused confusion, delays and frustration. Initially, only one gate agent was checking in the flight. Unreal."
Pros: "The flight crew was courteous and professional. The seats were comfortable."
Cons: "The flight came in a little late. However, the plane was nice."
Pros: "Good leg room. Tasty meals. A good variety of entertainment options."
Cons: "When I checked in I was told I had no bag allowance and had to pay 70 euro to check my bag. I feel like this was very sketchy on kyaak's part since it must have been on the fine print. I will be more cautious next time. Sas was otherwise fine."
Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "Got delayed 13-hours in an airport with no SAS staff present to communicate anything to all of the passengers. We were not accommodated with hotel vouchers or provided with alternative travel options to our final destinations and missed flights. SAS did not cancel the flight after the first 4-hours of delay which is illegal by EU Standards. None of us were able to leave the airport as we were not told any information about potential flight departure times and it would have been $2000 to re-book with a different airline. No answers were given by SAS over the phone and their staff seemed unaware of any problems."
Cons: "Multiple maintenance delays and groundcrew forgot to load some bags so there was an even further delay. Flight was cramped too."
Cons: "No food or entertainment on the short flight ght"
Pros: "boarding is different and they were talking over pa announcements at heathrow so you could not hear what to do. you go through one ticket agent to the down stairs to another ticket agent. everyone knowing what to expect crowded around the second ticket agent and there because of that forget about boarding by row or zone you couldn't get throught the crowd. plus the second ticket agent was right next to the downstairs escalator so people coming late got on before us."
Pros: "The gate agent in Athens was helpful"
Cons: "We wanted to check bags and we needed to have our docs checked before we could get a boarding pass for the last leg of the flight. No one was available around the self service kiosks and the line to drop bags or get any service didn't move for 40 minutes. We finally went to the gate. In Copenhagen we had a delay and no one would even talk to us except to say " you are booked in tourist class so I can't help You". They do an excellent job of avoiding any contact with their customers. I fly almost every week for business and have never had this bad of service."
Pros: "At least on long-haul flights SAS Plus is quite nice, much closer to business class service than your usual premium economy offering. Real silverware, good drinks, pretty good food, plenty of space and a nice blanket and pillow. The lounge in Copenhagen is quite nice too."
Pros: "Entertainment selection was very nice and the actual plane ride was smooth"
Cons: "Took over an hour delay for boarding due to air conditioning issues, then when we boarded we were told it was 35 Celsius until they start the engines. Then took an additional hour once boarded to take off due to traffic. Completely missed my connecting flight"
Cons: "I did not like my flight because ... I could not take it! I needed to change only one date (return) and was quoted $1300 for that one change. Getting a completely new ticket was cheaper, but not cheap. With such cost of even minor changes, next time I will look into booking directly with airlines, instead of Kayak; sorry to say that, as I really liked using your service."
Cons: "While boarding, a crew member neglect to help me finding space on the bins for my carry on luggage with a very rough answer. However same crew member kindly attend people coming next to my wife and me. During the rest of the flight no one even direct us a single word. Seems that SAS crew's attention depend on your ethnicity."
Pros: "The attendant made sure we got checked in and on the flight even though there could have easily been a hang up that prevented us from getting on the flight. It was pretty empty so we got a full row again for all our baby stuff. Very nice"
Cons: "So many delays and lost luggage. The craziest was leaving Manchester. I was supposed to have 30 minutes after leaving security at Manchester and would have done if they hadn't decided to board early. That's ok but then we sat on the plane waiting which resulted in leaving later than the original time of departure and therefore a large run for my connection at Copenhagen. Was badly organized clearly."
Pros: "they were quick and apologetic"
Cons: "I did not like having to pay Euro 70 for my luggage at the AP. I do not recall ever having got the option to pay for my suitcase online when I booked my ticket. You guys need to make this more clear."
Pros: "Food was good"
Cons: "Charge for drinks. TV broken no recompensatuon"
Pros: "The extra leg room I paid for."
Cons: "The cost to change my flight"
Pros: "Everyone was friendly and helpful."
Cons: "Would have liked more options for Movies."
Pros: "Slept great."
Cons: "Woke up."
Cons: "Too much meat in meals."
Pros: "everything except"
Cons: "food."
Pros: "Amazing service."
Pros: "I arrived alive...."
Cons: "Lost my luggage... can't even track it or give me any sense where it is or if it will be returned. My vacation is ruined and I have to wait 3 weeks before I can request minimal compensation. I'm frustrated and angry, and get little help. Everyone is sorry... but no answers. Never will fly SAS again"
Cons: "no food very cramped small seats plain full to capacity"
Pros: "I am angry about the inability to contact a SAS person."
Cons: "You think I should of gotten frustrated on my vacation!!!"
Cons: "60euros for the first checked-in bag??? Ridiculous."
