Pros: "Good choice on the cabin crew. Reminds me of Vijay MALYA's Kingfisher calendar girls at their startup. Being naughty. Overall crew very courteous and importantly bilingual."

Cons: "The tv monitor at the airport never bother to inform the passengers which was the boarding gate. After asking other passengers we deducted the gate number. The boarding was like a cattle drive bordering on a stampede since Aegean Airlines didn’t bother to divide passengers by groups, so people rushed to be first in line. We waited standing with our carryons for over 45minutes. Nobody knew what was happening or when they will start boarding. Naturally, when we finally got on board people where blocking the aisle because Aegean didn’t bother to board from back to front as it is usually done. The flight attendants were sweet but their English was almost unintelligible. My brother works and I worked for major airlines and have never seen anything so disorganized and unprofessional."

Cons: "They locked the bathrooms whenever the staff were passing around drinks, food, or collecting garbage. They claimed it was due to "safety" but every staff was easily walking around passing around drinks. There was no turbulence. Even when multiple people tried to get up to go to the restroom, they sent them away. Finally, when they unlocked the bathrooms after a good 30 mins, there were HUGE lines. They did this multiple times. It doesn't make sense to lock the bathrooms that long. People need to use the restroom and then they create larger lines which is more dangerous because even more people are standing up at the same time. Doesn't make sense. Will probably not use this airline again if this occurs again."

Pros: "Once we landed in Athens, knowing that our next flight would be taking off in 5 minutes, we thought ther was no way that we'd make it. Instead, they had someone waiting for us when we got off of the flight and someone to run all 11 of us through the airport to the plane. Aegean held the flight because they knew 11 people from the Santorini flight were coming."
Cons: "Once on the plane, we ended up sitting there for another 30 minutes, even though it was already 20 minutes late waiting for us. When I asked the stewardess whether that meant that our bags were going to make the flight she said she'd have to check. She never came back. I then asked a second girl and she said that she'd have to check and she never came back. I finally asked again before landing and she supposedly went and asked someone and came back and said yes they made it. Got to baggage claim - no bags. We had another flight to catch back to the states, so we didn't have time to figure out the situation. We spent the next three days frantically calling Aegean, to no avail. Their customer service either wouldn't answer or would tell us to call London Heathrow lost and found, who wouldn't answer. Eventually, Delta found our bags and had to work with Lufthansa and their own boots on the ground at LHR to find the bags and get them back to us."

I hope one day that the airline will organise itself and get things running a bit more smoothly.... Also... there was a meal on the flight but not option was given to those who are vegetarians to request a special meal at time of booking or later on while managing the booking... this was a bit unfair in my mind that my only option was a pasta and meat sauce meal so I did not get to eat... also... within my Star Alliance menber account I am listed as a vegetarian meal... so it should have been automatic just as it is on Swiss, Lufthansa, Etc... when I fly with them."

This is not the first time this happened with Aegean. I would appreciate more accurate and timely information about delays so as not to have to rush to the gate and then wait."

The plan was so small that i cant get inside and i'm 1.90 m so i need to put my legs out and all the time the girls staff kick my legs and wake me up Before i get inside the plan they took my trol (small sutcate) becuse "it's to much big" (this is the regular size!!!! and when i told the girls they told me that we dont dissc lus about it!!!! Al the flight their wasnt ballans and it was terrible i felt so bad and when all the people get a paper to feel and i was sleep so no one told me that i need to do this Terrible flight of my life!!!!"

Pros: "We had a technical problem after take off and our flight needed to return to Athens airport. The Captain assured all the pax this was not a safety related issue, and a fresh plane would be ready for us when we landed in Athens. After landing in Athens at a remote gate, we were bussed to the terminal, waited for no more than 10 minutes to another aircraft to make our journey to Paris. As we got on the bus to go to the new aircraft we were handed a letter with apologies for the disruption. In this letter we were offered a free flight anywhere within the Aegean Airlines network, valid for 12 months. I thought this was great customer recovery. The same technical and cabin crew took our new plane to Paris and we managed to make up a reasonable amount of time delay. This was an unforeseen situation handled very well. Well done Aegean."

Cons: "I was not able to use this reservation and when I contacted Aegean, they would not refund any portion of the ticket nor give me credit. Therefore, I cannot recommend the airline nor will I ever fly them."

Pros: "first they announced 10 min delay, then they could not find the crew, after they appeared delay was extended to 45 min we left about 50 min late. gained some time in flight and arrived 35 min late. first batch of luggage came out relatively early and then there was a break of over 20 min before the luggage started to come out again, just as if somebody decided to have a coffee break."

Cons: "From the moment I arrived at the airport, the machines would not accept my passport, then when they finally did, they would not print my boarding pass. The staff at Athens airport were not at all friendly nor welcoming. Their system had booked me into a middle seat near the front of the aircraft even though there were empty rows a little further back. Why not fill aisle and window seats first? So I had to change my seat during check-in. The original aircraft was apparently due for some sort of inspection which was unscheduled and they had to change our aircraft (either a really poor job by aircraft operations, or code that something bigger was wrong). This delayed the flight. But it wasn't until after we had all boarded the busses going to the out gate that they realized this was going to be an issue. Get off the bus, back inside the gate area, and wait for more information. The plane we were on seemed very old and in need of much attention as there were large spots of missing paying along the wing (just outside my window)."

"The flight was ok, but the number of people not wearing masks was alarming. Crew members would walk by unmasked people and say nothing. Protocol is supposed to be strict right now and it was very disappointing to experience a flight this way. It calls into question everything else that the crew manages…I felt unsafe."

Cons: "Business class on the 3.5 hour flight was just blocking the middle seat in the front of the plane. No leg room, narrow seats. My husband is 6’4”” with wide shoulders. His legs do not fit and therefore extend into the aisle. Flight attendants were constantly bumping into his shoulders. Very cramped We were not aware of this configuration."

Pros: "The pilot kept us in the terminal when he found out that we were delayed due to fog in London. I appreciated waiting in a more comfortable, open space rather than on the plane. I was also impressed with how the controllers and schedulers in London handled the delays so that I had not problem making my connection. And as things turned out, the second leg of the trip went so well that we reached our destination on time despite a one-hour delay."

Passengers are required to pay for a glass of water The flight reminded me of attending a professional sporting event. The flight crew is turned into food, beverage, and merchandise vendors. London Heathrow Airport is one of the worst international airports in Europe."

Cons: "This is a 3.5 hour flight, early in the morning (meaning people are up hours in advance). No snacks and no water are a terrible idea. It seems that this is something like a strategy for trips to/from Athens. It is not a small/fast flight by any means and water should be offered and not charged at ridiculously high prices. Not enough space for a slightly taller people. Emergency exit seats which have more legroom were priced extra and way expensive. PS: it was too cold in that plane."

Cons: "The boarding was chaotic and confused. Many passengers complained. But the MUCH bigger issue was we weren't told until we got to the airport that NO bags were included as part of the fare. We had three (we are traveling around the world). Yes, when I looked back at the bottom of the reservation there was a note that said bags not included, but as this is such a significant thing, I think it should be made much clearer. I direct feature films and travel a great, great deal. I rarely make my own reservations, to be fair, but I still think this is worth noting. In the end I just bumped my wife and I up to Business class, but for others who can't afford it, I think you should make this clearer. I will write to your facebook page etc later in the hope you will get the message. That said, again, your flight crew was great."

"The BA staff at the rear of the plane were extremely helpful and professional. Very unfortunately for me, I had developed a cough prior to flying, and when a couple of passengers complained they handled the situation very professionally and did not make things in any way awkward for me. Would most certainly recommend BA/Iberia to my friends for future travel."

The flight came in slightly late and passports were re-inspected upon unboarding which wasted a lot of time, and Heathrow is a nightmare of an airport on a good day, which made it very difficult to get where I needed to go."

Followed by two hours of Iberia staff being surly, not looking me in they eye and doing absolutely nothing about getting me home. I have now been travelling for nearly 30 hours without sleep, am stuck in Madrid with no certainty of when or how I will get home or see my luggage again, and am seriously seriously pissed off. I do accept that things can sometimes go wrong and that it is nobody’s fault. This is definitely somebody’s fault."

We immediately asked a flight attendant to help when I realized they might not go through and he said he spoke to someone who caught and tagged the bags to go through, but it still didn't happen. It would have been easier if he had just brought them to us on the plane. Another women's bag was taken with all her baby supplies and bottles in it for a 16-hour travel day. At 12:30am we were told our plane was at the gate and being prepared for us to board and the agent giving announcements said we were "guaranteed to leave TONIGHT". At 1am we were told that unfortunately the plane got to the gate just a bit too late and not the crew are not legally allowed to fly and the flight would be pushed back until 8am. At the time, I thought 7 hours was strange and I'd assume the crew would need more like 8-10 hours to rest. Unfortunately because we were told so late, all hotels were booked up. I live in NYC and would've gone home for the night however because we needed to be back by 6am (what the agent suggested), there seemed no point in leaving. We were not provided with any pillows or blankets until 4 in the morning. At 6am the next morning, we were told the crew needed "more rest time" and that our new departure time would be 9:30. How is it that the crew now needs more time? Shouldn't that have been figured out at 1am? Before we board, one of the agents thinks they will "lighten the mood" with the following comment - "Who would've thought a little bad weather would've caused this?" Absolutely not a time for jokes and people were very angry. We finally board for what we think is finally a 9:30am take off. No - now two new issues - 1, the co pilot is late (LATE? how can you be late when a flight has been delayed 16 hours) and 2, they needed to remove package from the plane for people who were no longer taking this flight. In the end, we took off around 11:30am which messed up a lot of peoples connecting flights, pick ups at the airport, etc. I will never fly this airline again."

Cabins recently refurbished on 777 thanks to Etihad Airways investment. Food, and plenty of it, was excellent. Wide selection of wines. Choice between freshly made American coffee or Espresso (from Lavazza). Lie flat seats are way more comfortable than KLM. Esoteric selection of documentaries and Italian movies. Leather seats and color scheme is elegant. Also, business class lounge (Alitalia House) at Rome Fiumincino serves delicious freshly cut Italian cold cuts, cheeses, pastrries, and has an actual barista vs a machine. You don't get the sense that they are cutting corners, which is probably why the airline keeps losing money, but that is to the benefit of the traveler (for now). Service friendly. For nonstop to this part of Europe, or for connections to Southern Europe, it may be my number one Skyteam choice."

This was not indicated anywhere, though, so make sure you ask or look for it if there is a long line at check in. Then, the gate is very, very far. Not sure why they had me check in at Terminal 1 as the gate is in Terminal 3. Make sure to allow for plenty of time, and maybe see if it's possible to check in at Terminal 3, which may well save time. But for a 14-hour flight in total comfort, the trade off was worth it."

And THEN they wanted us to wait in a 2 hour line to re-drop off our bags. We got stuck overnight in Rome and were put in a horrible Hilton Garden Inn and barely made it in time to use our coupon for a "free meal" (aka, frozen meatballs and stale bread in a buffet that had been sitting out all night). On our flight back, the food was absolutely terrible, the movie selections were old and scarce, and the seats were uncomfortable. We called to complain as soon as we got home and still have not heard back from Alitalia. I will never fly with them again."

Cons: "The boarding was chaos in both Munich and Rome. Apparently Al Italia had instituted a new computer system and the workers did not know how to use it. I spent hours on line getting a boarding pass in Munich, and then again another in Rome (in Munich no one was given boarding passes for connecting flights). I spend hours again in lines to get a boarding pass for a flight to Palermo, missing my connection and only getting a much later flight to Palermo. It was utter confusion. Shame on Al Italia."

Pros: "AlItalia Flight 629 was operated by Airbus A330-200, which is a smaller version of A300 family. The seats were comfortable with enough legroom. The service was OK: there was no cocktail service, but only a dinner, which was surprisingly tasty. Alcohol-wise they served only wine in coach, which was also available throughout the flight at the self-service station by the galley, Overall, I would rate the my flight as just Okay."
Cons: "The flight was delayed over 80 minutes due to "the wait for necessary paperwork," as the pilot has stated. During the wait for the departure, the a/c was off and it was very hot, stuffy and uncomfortable on board the plane. As a result of the delay, I barely made my connecting flight, and there were many passengers that missed their connecting flights."

Pros: "Uncomfortable seats, mine had a giant metal box under the seat in front of me, so unable to properly place feet for a 9 hr flight. Flight attendants were blind when anyone needed attention."

Pros: "Left on time with no delays."
Cons: "Delayed in airplane upon landing in Rome. Barely enough time for connecting flight."
