Pros: We got to London safely
Cons: This was a two leg flight. The British Airways leg between Athens and London was one of the worst flight I have had in the past few years. I will never fly BA in within Europe again! Passengers are required to pay for a glass of water The flight reminded me of attending a professional sporting event. The flight crew is turned into food, beverage, and merchandise vendors. London Heathrow Airport is one of the worst international airports in Europe.
Pros: The pilot kept us in the terminal when he found out that we were delayed due to fog in London. I appreciated waiting in a more comfortable, open space rather than on the plane. I was also impressed with how the controllers and schedulers in London handled the delays so that I had not problem making my connection. And as things turned out, the second leg of the trip went so well that we reached our destination on time despite a one-hour delay.
Cons: I'd like to see British Airways consider at the very least giving their customers a cup of coffee or tea on a 4-hour flight.
Pros: on time, safe, not crowded,
Cons: no water or anything without paying extra. blase crew.
Cons: One should not have to pay for a drink on that flight. it is too long. If it were less than an hour, I would understand.
Cons: This is a 3.5 hour flight, early in the morning (meaning people are up hours in advance). No snacks and no water are a terrible idea. It seems that this is something like a strategy for trips to/from Athens. It is not a small/fast flight by any means and water should be offered and not charged at ridiculously high prices. Not enough space for a slightly taller people. Emergency exit seats which have more legroom were priced extra and way expensive. PS: it was too cold in that plane.
Pros: Pilot kept us informed of delay status - gross delay b/c of French air traffic strike.
Cons: Ran out of food, slowest beverage serve ever experienced. NO staff greeting passengers who were very late and missing connections (about 3/4 of passengers) insane and grossly inefficient boarding system was mass chaos - boarded passenger in buses by priority leaving some buses 90% empty with large crowds waiting to board.
Pros: Spacious seats
Cons: Very hot airplane before take off
Cons: Flight was no better than a low cost airline. Almost 4h flight with no food/snack and NO DRINKS.
Pros: All BA personnel from check-in to landing were outstanding, professional.
Cons: I had requested and been assured there would be a wheelchair waiting at Heathrow to transport me to my connecting flight in terminal 3. I never got one. We kept being told to walk to another place and there would be one. This went on all the way to the plane which was already boarding.
Pros: The inflight crew was great. The film sound failed part of the way into the flight.
Cons: The boarding was chaotic and confused. Many passengers complained. But the MUCH bigger issue was we weren't told until we got to the airport that NO bags were included as part of the fare. We had three (we are traveling around the world). Yes, when I looked back at the bottom of the reservation there was a note that said bags not included, but as this is such a significant thing, I think it should be made much clearer. I direct feature films and travel a great, great deal. I rarely make my own reservations, to be fair, but I still think this is worth noting. In the end I just bumped my wife and I up to Business class, but for others who can't afford it, I think you should make this clearer. I will write to your facebook page etc later in the hope you will get the message. That said, again, your flight crew was great.
