Bermuda has lifted its previous travel ban, meaning all travelers may enter the territory starting from July 1.
All travelers entering Bermuda, whether visitors or residents, must complete the Bermuda travel authorization process online which gathers important information for the island’s health and immigration officials; a $75 fee is required, which includes the cost of COVID-19 testing in Bermuda.
Travelers must have a medical certificate with a negative COVID-19 PCR test issued within 5 days prior to departure. Children under the age of 10 are exempt from presenting a COVID-19 PCR test result.
Bermudian residents are permitted to travel without such a test. However, they will now need to pay $300 for a test upon arrival in Bermuda if they have not received a negative test before travel.
Airline crew who stay more than 24 hour must have a medical certificate with a negative COVID-19 PCR test issued within 7 days prior to departure.
The COVID-19 PCR test cannot be an antigen, antibody or rapid test. It must be a PCR test.
Travelers age 10 years and older are subject to a PCR test on arrival and quarantine until test results are ready.
Residents who are unable to self isolate at home will also be required to stay in a specified hotel until the results of their day 8 COVID test are confirmed.
From December 8, all travelers to Bermuda are now required to wear a Traveler Wristband for the first 14 days of their stay. Removal of the wristband is not permitted and can result in a fine of USD 500 and home quarantining with an electronic monitoring bracelet. Travelers who do not wish to wear the Traveler Wristband will quarantine at their accommodation for 14 days.
Residents (including work permit holders) who do not have a pre-departure negative PCR COVID-19 test result must quarantine for eight days after arrival. They will not be tested on day four, but they will be tested on day eight and will be released from quarantine with a day eight negative results. If a traveler take an RT-PCR COVID-19 test before departure and receive a negative result during the first four days in Bermuda, they will be released from quarantine. They will still have to test on day 4, day 8, and day 14. The location and time of each of their tests will automatically be booked for them. They will receive email reminders 24 hours before each test
After a negative test result, travelers must take their own temperature twice per day and report via an online application/portal. They must also take additional COVID-19 tests, administered on Day 4, Day 8 and Day 14 at easily accessible pop-up testing centers around the island.
Visitors should acquire health insurance covering potential positive COVID-19 diagnosis while in Bermuda. Visitors without coverage will be responsible for all health and accommodation costs related to a positive COVID-19 diagnosis while in Bermuda.
Airline crew who stay for a maximum of 24 hours are subject to quarantine in a hotel until their next flight.

Ideally, in such cases, the airlines should not only refund the check-in fee, but also provide a prepaid card to make any urgent purchases. Their current process requires one to bear the expenses initially, scan/click and send the original receipts and await a response from their baggage team. The overheads were empty above my own seat. I wasn't allowed to go back and reclaim my bag because they had already taken it. And they were completely indifferent to my situation, which isn't surprising given they didn't understand the value of my item. Thus, I had a full blown panic attack for my entire 2 hour flight, my medicine being one of the items also in my now checked bag. It was too late, my bag was taken and thrown under the plane by the time it struck. And the flight attendants also had on perfume that brought on a tension headache due to my sensitivity to scents. Considering they work in a recycled air tube, this seems like a vast oversight on their part and should consider that not everyone can handle even the faintest of perfumes. It may not seem like a big deal to them, because mental illness is still seen as a made up thing, but it was enough of a trigger that I will not fly American Airlines again."

After more than 24 hours stranded in Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport due to power outage on Dec 17th, 2017, I was so relieved as I sat on my seat, when an air hostess asked if I would like a seat in business class. She said they randomly upgrade passengers to business class when seats are available. So it all ended well, I got home to Toronto safely in (business) class. Thank you Air Canada !"

Not to mention the time a way from work where I just sat around in the bush doing nothing. On the way home, they lost my bag again. We were all seated when the passenger noticed she had forgotten it and to her credit she walked back to the front of the plane to ask about retrieving the charge. She was particularly concerned because she had just bought it. She came back to her seat and was told they would see what they could do. To our surprise after the doors were closed, the stewardess came back to hand the passenger her charger. She was very grateful! Well done Air Canada."

The flight back to Toronto from Atlanta was delayed by 2 hours and a half, which put me in risk to miss my connection flight. The plane was small and there was not enough space for mid size people."

Cons: "Small child violently kicked me seat the entire flight. I asked the parent (politely) to ask his son to stop but he didnt think he should have to. (They also thought it was fine for their toddler daugther to crawl into another sleeping passengers lap during flight. The crew was no help. I get that kids are kids but this was excessive. A crying baby would have been a welcone change. I think the crew should have stepped in."
