There was no room under the seat in front of me, to put it anywhere. It significantly reduced my comfort. The passengers sitting next to me also had no respect when they asked me to step aside and was rude in general. It made my mood worse throughout the flight but I hanged in there. It was okay."

On our flight from SFO to AKL, no problem but on the return flight they only brought us one child's breakfast. I asked a crew member for the other one. She told us it would be brought over but never was. So my son had to wait until the regular meals were brought and have one of those. Not a big deal but it was a little annoying. Also, for the return trip dinner, they served delicious Kapiti ice cream with the adult meal but no ice cream with the kids' meals so my kids were super disappointed about that and my husband and I shared ours with them. Again, not a terrible offense, just a little annoying."

However, when I boarded and sat in the seat I was assigned, I was moved because it turned out that the couple that was sitting next to me had purchased the seat so they could lay down. I was seated at another window seat, but it turned out the couple in that row had paid extra to have that seat empty as well. I was not only re-seated before the plane took off, but then I was re-seated THREE more times until finally being put in a middle seat after the flight was in flight. To top it all off, the plane was so delayed I missed my connecting flight to my final destination."

We were all waiting at the gate for half an hour but there were no Hawaiian Airline employees to help us. They started boarding people on the flight and we were just standing there at the gate with nobody to help us. Finally I ran over to the adjacent gate that was also run by Hawaiian and asked if they could help. Initially they told me to go back to the gate but I expressed my concern that our flight was already boarding and I needed a seat so they finally helped. The gentleman tried doing the same thing but came back saying "They yelled at me and told me to come back to this gate". This is so rude, unprofessional and disorganized. It certainly left me with a bad impression of Hawaiian Airlines, which is too bad because I will be traveling to Hawaii quite a bit this year."

The flight was rebooked for the next day, but on a much older and far less comfortable plane. The plane had no room of any kind, especially for a taller person, and there was no choice but to put your seat back if the person in front of you had. The inflight entertainment was also far less advanced. After having such an excellent flight to Australia I was highly disappointed by the flight home. Other than putting us in a free hotel for the night and paying for taxi fares there was no compensation which cost me a full day of work."

Also, the delay in the end was 2h 20 min - and I lost my flight to Luxembourg."

I my second meal looked like fish and turned out to be pork (I think?). They also only came around with the beverage cart once in the 8 hour flight (just before our first meal); I had to ring my call button to get water. The plane was pretty dated as well. I've seen worse but the screens were dated and all of the movies were fairly depressing. First, I'd suggest a couple more comedy's or rom-coms. Even a couple extra family friendly cartoons would be preferable to all the war/drama/dark options. Second, I'd suggest having the movies on demand rather than play one after another where passengers have to scroll through channels and keep catching movies part way through. A simple solution would be to have WiFi and streaming on flights which was also not available. This should be expected with international flight and would allow for on demand movies and music rather than the dated system currently in place."

Flight crew seemed very inconvenienced and it showed."

Should not be my fault as when booking it indicated all four of my flights were with BA. Once booked it indicated the return flights were code share with AA. American should have allowed me on the earlier flight. That would have opened a seat on the scheduled flight which had people waiting on standby."

Cons: "Paid extra for exit row seats, felt they were not worth the extra money. The extra legroom was great but the armrest did it move and I felt like I was sitting in a box."

Cons: "The crew seemed like they could care less about the passengers. Choice of either one snack bag of pretzels or a biscotti ~ very minimal. No headphones were offered for the movies."
Pros: "Fit and finish of cabin interior was nice."
Cons: "I REALLY wish this flight had drop down footrests in coach. The video demonstration advises passengers to put up foot rests and tray tables upon approach. I wish there had been a foot rest - my back was killing me due to the inability to lift my knees and feet to take the pressure off my lower back."
Cons: "As I mentioned in my last comment I was seated at the back of the plane on over four and a half hour flight by the time the food got to me they had ran out that I mention that I'm a diabetic with high blood pressure so I have to sit and suffer for over 3 hours will never ever fly American again"
Cons: "The plane was freezing and made me very uncomfortable! I asked the flight attendant for a blanket and she told me no. Even though I saw some in first class.... I would have purchased one. It was very hard for me to fall asleep because of how cold I was. Comfort is one of the main things I expect in a 4 plus hour flight."
