Cons: "Flight was delayed"
Pros: "Great flight . Even got here early"
Pros: "The outbound crew was terrific. The flight itself was fine. We even arrived early."
Cons: "Upon deplaning in Cancun, ALL passengers are put on a bus and driven far away from the terminals to an arrivals area. Those of us with connecting flights are royally f*cked at that point, especially if your connection is short, as mine was. The so-called shuttle to the departure terminals, which are entire kilometers away, was to arrive in like half an hour. HALF AN HOUR. Who has this time to spare?? The alternative to the shuttle is paying a taxi that charges a hefty fare--and God help you if you don't have cash. The departures terminal was swamped and only thru begging assistance and line cuts did I make my connection...and then only by the skin of my teeth. It was a complete nightmare."
Pros: "Really helpful staff, clean plane, attentive and easy boardiing"
Cons: "The check in was a bit confusing at the airport."
Cons: "Paid first class. Got served after people in coach."
Pros: "New aircraft A320"
Cons: "Late,"
Cons: "1 hour flight delay"
Cons: "Flight was delayed nearly 2 hours without any compensation to the passengers. I frequently fly jet blue and whenever they are that delayed not weather related the staff frequently gives the passengers a complimentary cocktail. Also your boarding process makes little sepnse to me why board from the front of the plane more sensible to board back to front"
Pros: "The gate person was very accommodating"
Cons: "It was over 2hrs late due to mechanical problems. Seems to be the norm."
Pros: "Airport is clean and easy to to use. TSA easy to go through. No lines. Boarding was easy with no issues. On-time"
Pros: "It wasn’t bad or good."
Pros: "Friendly staff"
Cons: "Every flight was delayed"
Cons: "Long delay due to maintenance of oxygen masks issue. Why hadn't this been taken care of with preventive maintenance?"
Pros: "The staff are fun and friendly. One of the hostesses stepped into the vacant seat where I was sitting and stepped back further when people where pushing by. We were almost cheek to cheek. The closest I've come to a cute bum in years."
Cons: "The gratis food offering isn't healthy - those bread pretzels, versus the almond & tomato juice I had on the next flight, with ...can't remember the name."
Cons: "Seating was tight"
Pros: "They ran out of food on the plane"
Pros: "Personnel and crew handled the problem in a professional manner doing everything in their power to make the best of a bad situation. Another plane was provided within a reasonable time frame."
Cons: "Four hour delay. Boarded and then being told after 40 minutes that the problem was not fixable."
Cons: "No space."
Pros: "When our flight was delayed by four hours they gave us snacks at the gate. No one offered to reschedule."
Cons: "The 45 minute wait in the Sky Priority lane to drop off baggage. The flight was delayed because of weather and then their scheduling system crashed. Had to wait for a pilot. When we finally boarded at 5 we got peanuts in first class. That was worth the mileage upgrade. Upon landing there was a 1/2 wait on the tarmac to get a gate. That same plane, upon taking off back to DTW blew a tire upon take-off, had to do an emergency landing and everyone had to spend the night in NOLA after being delayed all day."
Cons: "All the people I encountered who worked for delta were rude. I understand having a bad day, but everyone on two flights and 3 airports? Ive never seen a group of people be so unhappy about having a job. Will not fly delta again."
Pros: "The crew was very friendly and helpful."
Cons: "The delays, we change to gate three times, Delta never told us why the changes or announce them. If it wouldn't be for Trippet Pro, where I got notices, I would not have known about gate changes."
Cons: "Ask the ticket agent and flight attendants about changing seats and they weren’t helpful. Also their response was abrasive. Didn’t appreciate it!"
Cons: "When there isn’t a person assigned to the emergency exit row and you offer your service and the flight attendant says you need to pay for it. Seriously there a deadly flu and the fight attendant is concerned about the price difference and not making sure there is social distance. Tons of empty seats and they never offered for anyone to switch"
Cons: "Multiple bathroom facilities throughout flight very dirty, unclean, unsanitary. Bathroom deemed at back of plane was deemed “out of order” off limits because it was being used by AA staff. No issues with this but operable bathrooms should have been cleaned. Very nasty!"
Cons: "A little discouraged that AA doesn’t offer a TV in the headrest for 1st class customers"
Pros: "Crew was amazing. Went well above the call of duty working until 3AM to get our very delayed flight to Philadelphia."
Cons: "Flight was super delayed."
Pros: "Movie selection, clean plane"
Cons: "Rude passengers that do not respect personal space even after notifying a flight attendant."
Pros: "Nothing."
Cons: "The crew’s attitude. Forcing me to check my bag when there were plenty of spots overhead. Telling me my carryon, which fits perfectly under the seat, isn’t allowed to go under my seat. The crew and gate attendant were rude. Poor service. Poor flight."
Cons: "Flight from CLT to MCI was delayed 40 minutes, which made me arrive at Kansas City really late"
Cons: "The flight was delayed initially because of plane late arrival then rerouting and then delayed and cancelled. Spent the night on the floor with no offers for food or beverages or at least offering vouchers for delays not related to weather. Tried to lie and say it was weather related."
Cons: "On line booked ticket in wrong name and they would not change or refund"
Cons: "Boarding at gate a47 T2A at CDG was chaotic"
Cons: "Flight delays twice coming out of Augusta. Barely made connection otherwise flight was ok"
Cons: "There was literally no entertainment for over three hour flight and our flight was delayed an hour while we were on the plane."
Pros: "Flights were on time, professional crew"
Cons: "Seat back screen kept freezing, headphone jack was broken"
Pros: "Helpful attendants. Surprisingly roomy seats."
Cons: "Nothing. Short flight."
Cons: "Make seat available for two of us together not every one in a deferent row"
Cons: "There was room for my carry on, although they said it was full and cheked it"
Pros: "Courteous crew and staff"
Cons: "Check bags online for all flights"
Cons: "Overheads slammed full."
Cons: "The gentleman sitting next to me never turned his phone in to airplane mode. His phone rang several times while the flight attendant was going through the safety procedures right in front of us. This was after the announcement came that all electronic devices where to go into airplane mode. The flight attendant did not do anything and seemed to ignore the phone that kept ringing. The gentleman was even talking on the phone while the flight attendant was going through the safety procedures. Later while landing an announcement came over that we were to return to our seats, close all tray tables, and seats ts in the upright position. At this point the gentleman sitting next to me leaned his seat backwards. The flight attendant passed by the gentleman at least three times and never said anything about his seat back. Evidently this flight attendant did not care to do his job properly."
Pros: "Modern equipment (787)"
Cons: "8 emails from Kayak and 1 from AA warning of flight delay. But gate agents did not know anything about this and boarded us on schedule. So we sat for 90 minutes until the new aircraft was 'repaired'. Failed by a mile to make the connection. And I suppose I should have paid first-class fare, as then I would have made by connection?"
Pros: "Crew was great!"
Cons: "Isles for walking are way too small! I mean you can’t walk normally. I am 5’11” 195 lbs. not big but I have to move sideways down the isle. This is a very dangerous situation in a emergency situation. Something needs to be done. The seat space between the seats is another story"
Cons: "Nothing wrong. Everything is excellent"
Cons: "It was freezing on the plane the whole flight"
Cons: "Flight to and from AL on American Airlines were both canceled - I was switched to Delta on the ‘to’ trip and stuck in AL another night on ‘home’ trip"
Pros: "Staff very professional, everything else went as planned. That's all one needs."
Cons: "We had a hard time hearing (clarity of speech) announcements over the intercom at the gate & on the plains (specially when the captain spoke). Nothing life threatening, but wouldn't want to miss something important."
Pros: "On time, not completely full, good staff at gate & on plane"
Cons: "All good."
Cons: "The changed of flight from.BA To American airlines."
Pros: "Friendly service, smooth flight and quick boarding time."
Cons: "All good!"
Pros: "Liked the crew. The flight was on time and went as expected. We are safe and happy so can’t get much better right?"
Cons: "Didn’t like the credit card advertising announcement over the intercom and then again by the crew. The lack of food and snack options was pretty sad but that’s par for the course nowadays. One of my pet peeves: People boarded with out verification of their boarding pass location. By the time we boarded, 90% of the plane was loaded and we were in the middle. Luckily that had no impact but annoying bc people are trying to get their overhead bins before they run out, which they did."
Pros: "On time with no delays"
Pros: "Boarded in a timely manner."
Pros: "Long flight, but I really like the 787. Comfortable travel."
Cons: "American airlines mishandled my luggage. Extremely poor communication about status. (I don't know how much all my phone calls to them will end up costing!) Two and a half days later, I have to return to the airport to pick it up. If you travel with AA, pack MORE than essentials in your carry-on! Also it is criminal that they charge extra for aisle seats!"
Pros: "Smooth flight on time."
Cons: "Agent at gate said overhead compartments were all full and no more room for any bag. So I had to check in my carry on luggage . To my surprise, there had many open space when I walked in the plane. The worst thing was my brand new suitcase was torn. I told the luggage agent the incident and she said they had no liability what so ever."
Cons: "Crew not that friendly towards everyone."
Pros: "Love these Non-stop to Austin even though they are always full. Thanks for this luxury of non having to transfer in Dallas."
Cons: "The down side is that these planes are smaller so we didn't have any entertainment and therefore no place to charge digital devices. There is however, wifi to purchase."
Pros: "No hassle"
Cons: "I wasn't allowed to check in online and couldn't find out the reason for that"
Pros: "Loved the comfort of the plane. There was generous seat space especially when reclined in the main cabin. Personal entertainment screens with abundance of options to choose. Flight crew was very pleasant and helpful. T"
Cons: "The flight was over an hour delayed in boarding and departure without any reasoning."
Pros: "On time. Friendly."
Cons: "Delay No direction help for the gate Bad seats"
Cons: "Old plane with no tvs or power source for a 5 1/2 hour flight. Dirty plane too."
Pros: "Crew friendly and efficient."
Cons: "Flatbed width tight"
Pros: "It was a nice plane"
Cons: "No wifi on the plane :-("
Pros: "I liked how smooth flight went especially after all the bumpy rides I had been on"
Cons: "I didn't like that I wasn't able to sit with the person I purchased my ticket with"
Cons: "Missed the connection in CLT to BTR even though flight status on AA's website indicated that it was delayed enough so that I could make the connection. Ended up spending the night in a cold-assed airport with minimal comfort. I was already confirmed on this flight and AA knew, or should've known, that I was enroute. Not pleased at all."
Pros: "Plenty of room for carry-on bags"
Cons: "Charlotte airport was a zoo due to delays of slights coming in but all outgoing flights were on time so many connections including mine were missed"
Cons: "Taking 48 hours to get home and it would have taken longer if I didn't insist on being put on standby. Being told it was probably "god's will" that my flightless canceled."
Pros: "The flight was smooth and the service was great. Clean plane wonderful crew. We left our gate 10 early, and landed 30 minutes before our estimated time."
Cons: "It was not AA fault, but since we arrived so early we waited more than an hour for a new gate. Ours was occupied by a cancelled flight because something was wrong with the plane and couldn't move it."
Cons: "My flight was cancelled I am told due to lack of crew. What the heck??? It took me all day to get home waiting on standby flights."
