The rules regarding business class lounge hotel/room access were very confusing. Between flights we had an 11 hour layover in Istanbul, but were denied a room to rest as our layover was too long?? Keep in mind that we arrived there at 3:30am after a long flight. Even multiple Turkish airlines employees were inconsistent with the rules. We ended up paying a high price at the Yotel in the airport in order to get some rest. Good thing I did, as a medical emergency was declared on the flight from Istanbul to Atlanta and I was apparently the only physician on board. Luckily I was able to stabilize the passenger and the flight wasn't diverted. The crew called an overhead announcement for a medical doctor, but insisted that I show them a copy of my medical license which I did. Very strange in my 35 years as a physician and responding multiple times to inflight medical emergencies over the years. I was very glad the passengers issue was resolved, but an acknowledgement of at least a thank you from the crew would have been appreciated.
I wasn't able to bring my little dog with me, because of the feedback team's extremely slow response. How are they even allowed to operate with this paste??
The sleeper seats, the staff, and the food was truly delicious. I loved the mocktail options.

To get to jet blue at JFK from any connecting flight you have to go through security again.
I really would like it if they provided at least some limited free wi-fi.

Could have been better. Bag rechecking could have been eliminated. Gate location and direction need to be clearly stated.
Older plane with finicky seats. Crew often seem to focus on "pet" clients and over extend services to some over others. I get less attention since I'm not a regular business class client. Regardless, I've paid the money and would expect equal attention.
Seats could be more comfortable, food was plentiful and good.
Onboard staff was courteous, helpful, responsive and friendly. The boarding process was disorganized, poorly communicated, and disheveled. Gate agents were yelling instead of using the PA system, didn’t communicate the timing delay of our flight, and created an atmosphere of chaos rather than order and communication. As far as I know, there was no reason for their. I would hate to see how it operated under extreme conditions. I’ve never seen United Airlines operations in such a state.
Baggage claim signs were not updated with my flight information, so I had to guess. The app wasn't updated either.
Lufthansa seats were much more comfortable than United. While they had about the same video selection, Lufthansa didn't put advertisements in with the movies like United did. And the Lufthansa food was much better than United.
I almost missed my connection in Chicago due to having to wait on a gate to be open I am assuming. Having to run from E terminal to C terminal and I barely made it there before they closed the door. This may not be the actual airline's fault it's crazy how there is so little time between flight especially when they are placed so far apart in the airport.
Unbelievably smooth boarding at IAH and the flight attendants were top notch.
We flew business fares. Was amazing. However, the check in didn't offer business fares preboarding which is less hectic. 8/10 due to this. Staff compared to Canadian carriers go above and beyond. Would gladly fly United again.
The staff were polite and professional. I found the boarding for First Class Business customers not great. They didn't offer me pre- boarding. Just regular zone 1 boarding which didn't feel great. On board and throughout all of our United Flights we found the staff wonderful. We'll definitely fly United again.
It was extremely hot in the cabin the entire flight, vent air was worn
The Wi-Fi did not work, so you weren't able to watch entertainment on your own device. They did not have wired headphones so you couldn't watch it on the in-seat entertainment screen either. There was plenty of time to do a drink and snag service but the flight attendants chose not to.
I liked the flight, the attendants, and the comfort. But the gate for boarding was poor. Even the elderly had to climb down many many steps to the bus and climb up to the plane.
Cancelled 90 min AFTER Departure! We had to deplane and wait another hour plus for the flight to be shown as cancelled for the customer service team. There were many many angry customers.
Good and they are leaving at time and arriving on time
Horrible airport ever. We stood in the security check line for more than an hour. It was past boarding time and we were still waiting in line for the security check. With 2 children and a medically ill person we had a very stressful transit.
Boarding was weird. They boarded two flights at the same gate at the same time. So mass confusion for the non English/French speakers. So many people at such a small gate. Like every other part of this airport you have to walk miles between everything. Gate to plane was a 5 min walk :) several long flights so I was worried about my steps but ended up walking several miles here so worked out.
Flight cancelled. I was rebooked without discussion or options. Had booked a flight with a bed and when I was rebooked, the flight had a recliner seat. Felt cheated.
It was okay. Mothers with rowdy children should be invited to sit in front of them.
We missed our connecting flight in Frankfurt do to security and all hell ensued then.we got rebooked to Washington got there round 10 am ish didn't find out till 630 we were rerouted to United!! Then we started getting updates
Movie selection was nice and chicken with rice dinner was good. I did not like the pizza thing they served for breakfast/lunch. It was like a hot pocket but mostly bread. A small sandwich or cheese and cracker snack and fruit etc would have been much better. Also they did not announce trash pick up so a lot of trash was left by everyone when departing.
Too tight connection. Lufthansa staff pulled 12 of us out of passport control that had tight connections and took us about 1/3 mile AWAY from our gates and put us in another slow, long line. Needless to say all of us missed our flights and the Customer “Service” staff was rude and not helpful at all. Was rebooked from a direct flight to one w a 6hr layover. Asked about an other option that was on my app and was told to book it myself online (which would be $300 extra pp!!). Got rebooked again w a tight connection which was also missed. Rebooked into middle seats that didn’t recline for 9 hr flight!! No compensation (and we paid for seats!) Ended up taking 26hrs to get home from Europe to North Carolina! No longer a fan of Lufthansa—2nd time having these kind of issues w them!
