She then made my flight a nightmare, until I let her sit in my aisle seat. Even then she was not satisfied, she abused me the whole flight damaged the screen so I could not use it until the steward fixed it. Demanded that I except any and all alcohol to give to her to drink. When I am tea total she then continued to abuse me. I asked the steward to move me he just shrugged his shoulders and said there was nowhere else. This is definitely my the worst flight I have experienced."

Cons: "Was not informed that checking in online is the only way to secure a seat. So, regardless of whether you book your tickets 3 months in advance or the day before, you're not actually guaranteed a seat unless you check in online. We weren't told this until we were at the airport and checked in there that we might not be able to get our pre-booked in advance flight because of over-booking from KLM. We then had to wait and see if there were seats available when boarding. Luckily, there were, but we were not sat together. Not the greatest start to our first holiday together as a couple. We were told that if there weren't seats available, they'd pay for us to get to another airport to fly out, which would have meant a huge delay on the only time off we'd get together this year and have to rearrange our pre-booked and pre-paid living arrangements for the week. All because there wasn't a lot of emphasis on the need to check in online before hand. You'd think if someone checked in at the airport, that would be more of a guarantee that they'd be flying with you that day, but apparently not. Definitely not impressed or happy with this part of the KLM experience. This is the only company that we've had this problem with, they should make it clearer that it is essential to check in online."

With the current layout, even with an aisle seat, I was sitting in the aisle. And I am not a large person! The flight was full, so use the 787 and two daily non-stops. For a twelve hour flight, the food was only Okay, could have been better and with a better selection. Meal timing was poor."

Furthermore I couldn’t use the check-in kiosks because my name was listed as Reidmr instead of Reid, which meant that my boarding pass did not match my passport. Overall this caused unnecessary delays that were compounded by the fact that I couldn’t use my TSA precheck. My main problem on the plane was that I had to struggle to get water served to me. It’s always so dry on planes and I would have liked to be able to get more than one tiny glass of water at a time. Also, would have loved a window at my window seat. Plus no WIFI!?"

Pros: "Of the multiple international airlines I recently flew with, I would have to say KLM was by far the best. Relaxing atmosphere, comfortable seating, great in-flight entertainment, although I have the go-go in-flight data/entertainment plan with t-mobile (highly recommended), the flight included a decent selection of movies, television programs, etc. The food far exceeded typical "airline quality," even for an international flight - and included a fabulous little snack box with locally sourced gourmet and specialty items such as chocolate from Belgium, fine cheeses from France, and crackers from England. Drinks = gratis, and crew was exceptionally attentive and went out of their way to make flight as pleasant as possible."

When I asked why they told me to sort my seating out in the plane. Now that's telling. Whoever checked me in could see there were lots off empty seats and couldn't take the time to seat my wife and I together. Hmmm. Terminal at Dublin was small and over crowded. There was 1 agent at the gate checking in everyone on this flight for about 10 minutes until she finally got some help. You must do better"

After runing like chickens with no head a polite customer representative put us through and informed us that our fly was delayed becouse the plane had mechanical issues, so after all that we had to wait 1 hr at the airport and another 1 hr or so to make sure the plane was ready to leave , after that we made it to New York instead of 7 pm we arrived 10 pm , very tired"

American seems to be only airline to do this, I will have to reconsider flying with you in the future."

THANKS american for starting a war in my family and ruining my trip. unfortunate the crew is so awesome but the customer service is mortifying, rude, inconsiderate and completely mechanical. i dont ever intend on flying with them again unless necessary."

At the Iberia counter we were put on the next flight out to mallorca, that seemed to be no problem (FYI bags will be late and you may too since iBeria ‘must’ keep thee on time global record) , other than our bags came a day later. UPON arriving 20 days later for our return trip they said our return trip was cancelled because of a ‘no show’ on our original inbound trip. They said they had no proof we were on the next flight and asked for our Receipts to prove it. Said we had to buy new tickets, after 2 hrs, crying, yelling and most of Iberia telling us there was nothing they could do (told us to call BA since they were the co share for them) we finally got a high enough supervisor and they put us on the return flights. I’m sure we would have had to buy new tix if the flights were full. Have been overseas many times and this never happened. Will not use a 3rd party online ticket agency again- will go direct to airline, and not Iberia."

Lastly, despite checking in more than 7 hours ahead of time for the international flight, I was given a middle seat and was told that I would have to pay $40 if I wanted to switch to an aisle/window. The middle seat was cramped and uncomfortable, particularly for 8 hours (after 7 hours of connections and waiting in airports). UGH."

I still ended up in the airport for about 4-6 hours. They provided a coupon for a free lunch, and there was a lounge to stay in, but for a transatlantic flight, adding an extra 4-6 hours was really bad."

Cons: "Flight was overbooked and we were not boarded. The personnel at the gate desk asked us to wait in the hallway outside the gate until further notification. When the plane was almost finished boarding, I went to the desk to find out whether we would get on. They admitted they had "forgotten about us". We then took the arduous trek through passport control back out to the main terminal to rebook. The only option we were presented was a flight the next day, instead of our 9h direct flight from Frankfurt to Seattle this was going to be a 19h flight via a long layover in Chicago. I tried hard to work with the agent to find another option, and asked for the supervisor. She told me "this isn't going to help you". Horrible horrible."
Pros: "The price, the schedule, the convenience of the airports they use. Online Checkin is a breeze, and they seem to be very good at making sure that luggage arrives with passengers. Because we arrived at the airport VERY early (2:30 AM) for a 3:40 PM flight (Eurail scheduling vagaries required this), we checked our bags at 6AM (the earliest possible time) and worried that they had WAY too much time to screw it up, but they didn't, and even if they had, we were going home! Thy did provide a bottle of water for each seat, which was nice. After a late start, we made up some time and landed only a few minutes late."
Cons: "I know it's not entirely the airlines fault, but the boarding process for this flight was byzantine. first, the gate was in the 'basement' of the terminal and you had to show your boarding pass to get into the gate area and then you couldn't leave - and the bathroom was outside the gate area. Then we waited for 25 minutes in line to get on the bus to take us to our aircraft after the 'last call' for boarding announcement was made. When they finally put us on the bus, it was another 10 minutes standing still, packed in like sardines, until the bus actually moved anywhere. I have NO idea where the plane was, but we drove and drove, and drove around the airfield until we finally pulled up at our plane. They had two boarding ramps up, one in the front and one in the back, and just told us that low row number should board from the front and high numbers from the rear, but they didn't tell us what the demarcation was. With seats in row 31, it turned out we were over the wing, pretty much dead center, so it didn't matter. It would have been nice to have a frame of reference though. Aside from that, the food was EH!, the service courteous and efficient, but not friendly, the seats cramped, the no-extra-cost entertainment insipid (except for the audio portion - they provided a huge assortment of tracks by a wide variety of artists in many genres). With my (brought with me) earbuds, I gave up on any video except the flight map and just listened to classical recordings to drown out the screaming babies in the next row and provide a pleasant background for snoozing."

Cons: "I'm 6'6" and barely fit in the seats. I've learned to live with that, but it was frustrating that only 2 of the 7 front-row seats with extra legroom in the section were occupied before the flight, and a flight attendant chose a much shorter and not elderly passenger to fill a third seat in that row, leaving no alternative seating options for me and my wife to request. Most other airlines notice my size/discomfort right away and offer to work with me, especially on transatlantic flights. Food and entertainment had limited options and were nothing to get excited about, but you get what you pay for."

The in flight food was much better than pretzels or crackers I have encountered recently on many short international and local flights. I will use Condor again when possible."

We flew premium economy there and it was enjoyable, the seats were not available on the way back and its was miserable flight."

Cons: "I booked this flight with some skepticism about this airline as I'd never heard of Condor/Thomas Cook, but decided to roll the dice as it was one of only 2 daily direct flights to Europe from Austin, TX. The first indication things weren't going well was during check-in: I was safely there more than 2 hrs ahead of the flight's scheduled departure and the line was nearly out the door. Not enough agents, or not fast enough. Then the worst part: we left over an hour after scheduled departure. The main reason we were late, (and ended up missing our connection in Frankfurt), was penny pinching cheapness at every turn. General boarding, (they don't have any groups besides, 'special needs', 'those with infants/small children' and 'first class passengers'), wasn't even called until 1/2 hr after the scheduled departure. We left over a full hour late from Austin and they didn't make up much time in the air. One thing this airline clearly does, to bring the customer low fares, is cut corners at every chance. That seeemd to include using the required extra fuel to pick up the speed and make up the time from their late departure. Another annoying thing they did to save money was avoid gate fees by parking the plane way out in the middle of nowhere and bussing all the passengers like cattle to every flight. In Austin, this option wasn't available to them, hence their late departure - likely caused by the fact that they couldn't be at the gate when they needed to be, because it had just been in use or there wasn't a ramp available - I don't know, but I'd bet it had to do with trying to save airport fees. I do know that in Frankfurt it felt like they bussed us halfway to Munich to board the airplane, (a 2-3-2 seating setup, btw. I don't remember the equipment). All this ineptitude and trying to save a nickel ended up causing me and my group to miss our connection in Frankfurt. We were traveling on business and it was crucial we made our connection to be on time to our final destination. If you have anything important to do when you arrive at the end of your trip, if you're traveling with this Thomas Cook brand, Condor, make sure you depart a day earlier than you think you need to depart. In my experience, they won't get you there on time. This brings me to their partner airlines, who were legit, real airlines, but didn't have anything to do with Condor/Thomas Cook, and therefore were not there to be helpful at any level beside the basic service they needed to provide a passenger who they viewed as missing their flight. I saw no Condor presence at the Frankfort airport. I doubt they have help/service desks in all the airports they serve. Lufthansa on the way there and SAS on the way back, were their partner airlines. Being late wasn't an option for me and my associates, but neither was traveling the day before to give an extra-extra day ahead to be safe. In my experience, don't count on this airline."

Pros: "If you are not from Germany, please, avoid at all costs Condor airlines. They have managed to create an industrial scale chain of customer mistreatment. Went from Rio to Frankfurt and back with them. I'll do my best effort to describe what I went through. 1) Their web site is outrageously unhelpful. Bought my tickets from a third party search engine as it seamed like a great deal. Even though you get yourself a code (six digits letters and numbers), it'll be of no use since you are not able to book your seats in advance, book meals nor entertainment and not even buy yourself a premium class upgrade. Their website won't accept your code, and if you choose the option "bought with another agency", guess what, most engines won't be on their list; 2) Check in opens 2h before takeoff. You'll have a window of opportunity here to get an upgrade to premium. Tricky part is you'll have to pay what they call "the Airport rate" for upgrade, which is €90,00, even though you didn't have the chance to do it before, because their site wouldn't allow you to. As my final destination in Europe was Prague, connecting flight was done by Lufthansa. When I was going back to Brazil Lufthansa again was the company for the connecting flight from Prague to Frankfurt. Now this time I couldn't upgrade my seat to premium, as Lufthansa was not allowed to. Tried to do it at the gate, but it was already sold out. Never had a chance, neither online nor at the airport as my tickets were bought in Brazil and some how you end up getting some sort of xenophobic deal; 3) Comfort in the so called Premium class is pretty much what you will find in most serious airlines. Economy class is ridiculous. A flight from Frankfurt to Rio takes around 11hours and on economy class you won't get the smallest amount of comfort necessary to sleep and I'm not complaining of space here (I could fit with my 178cm height). What I mean is seats are hard and won't do any, I mean ANY degree of reclining. As a doctor I can assure you this is not at all healthy for your lumbar spine and the least you'll get is lumbar pain, as I did. I wonder if Condor airlines' values involve transporting people with dignity. 4) Entertainment is fully available for premium and business class. There are around 30 movies and 4000 musics available for your choice. On economy you get two movies and two TV shows, but they don't come from the same set of premium entertainment. Movies available were Frozen and The Older Women (not so good if you are a male adult, right?). TV shows: 1 episode of Tintin and 1 episode of 1997 The Nanny. Entertainment upgrade can be bought after takeoff for €8,00. It is not so bothersome as you can upload something to your smartphone and watch, as there is an USB port available for recharging it. They won't offer you a headphone on economy, but they'll sell you one for €3,50. Just bring your own."
Cons: "5) Meals as you can imagine are different. Premium meals involve a 3 dish menu (starter, main and dessert). On economy it is a regular plane meal with a twist, no animal protein. Economy meals are pretty much a whole bunch of carbs, mostly simple starch, and that may be so because it is surely cheaper, but also (and I do hope it is not the case for that would be amazingly vile) starches are digest much faster and create a insulin peak, what really matters is that you start feeling hungry a lot earlier and, guess what, they sell snacks on bord. Once again, you can buy a meal upgrade for economy class up to 24h before the flight, on their website, which means that you can't, as your reservation number won't work anyway. Should you have any restrictions the best advice I can think of is bringing your own food. 6) Staff politeness was almost not an issue except for this one flight attendant that felt free enough to mess with my objects. For instance, instead of simply asking me to disconnect my headphone from the screen for landing, she just pull it of the socket and threw it on my lap without saying any word, even though I'm pretty able to speak/understand English and some German as well. Surely one can't blame individual attitude on a corporation, but corporations may be blamed for keeping such individuals on their staff. Information regarding passport control/immigration and customs in Brazil was confusing and some non-German and non-English speaking passengers were left in the dark. Curious fact was this flight attendant being extremely courteous to this guy, saying that she used to date a Brazilian man and how she believes that thay can't be trusted as they are too seductive. Conclusion: this is a matter of maths. In order to have a minimally comfortable flight just ad €180,00 (arround R$650,00) to your tickets price. If any airline offers you a price within this range, don't hesitate, buy it from the other airline. Avoid Condor airlines at all costs. I hope that this comprehensive review helps you on your decision. What I do hope (as I'm pro market person) is that it's prices force other companies to lower their fares, that's the only good we can get from Condor and I mean it, I'll be happy to pay extra €180,00, maybe €200,00 and fly with ANY other airline, but Condor."
Cons: "flight from Africa to Moscow was delayed 14 hours . They did not email or all to give notification of this . I spent 1.5 hours in a taxi and $50 going to the airport only to find it was cancelled adn then go back paying another $50. Turned out the pilot was sick, and they didnt have a single pilot as backup . I also paid $95 for my extra bag and they did not check it all the way through moscow, so when i arrived in frankfurt where my connection was, I had to pay another $75 to Aeroflot because of this error. On top of it all they lost my baggage. I didnt get it for another entire day. Never flying them again."
Cons: "This was my first time flying this forsaken airline. Little did i knew this is the European version of Spirit Airlines!! All i can say only 1 person was nice to us everyone else were rude and obnoxious and worst racist!!"
