When boarding started, it was like refugees rushing to a life boat. Everyone was rushing to the front. Only one KLM staff standing there saying "... now is this group, yours is next,,,, we will call it out...." While he stopped some travelers, he did allowed some others passed without even checking their ticket. They have all the digital gears, and the screens to show the current boarding sequences, why don't they just use that. For some of us that did not have a excellent hearing, it was hard not trying to get closer to understanding what is going on.
Thumbs up for KLM crew, planes and Schiphol Airport, though short on staff and a little late everything went smooth, including the flight.
Overall a pleasant flight.

She then made my flight a nightmare, until I let her sit in my aisle seat. Even then she was not satisfied, she abused me the whole flight damaged the screen so I could not use it until the steward fixed it. Demanded that I except any and all alcohol to give to her to drink. When I am tea total she then continued to abuse me. I asked the steward to move me he just shrugged his shoulders and said there was nowhere else. This is definitely my the worst flight I have experienced."

My wife and I did not get seated together and I tried calling Finn Air well before the flight- no joy. I had to wait until we got to the first gate to have the agent assign our seats for the Finn Air connection - , and she had to call tech support to unlock the record locator. I could not add FF# or nothing. I felt like a abused stepchild. It was an AA crew, an AA A/C, an AA gate, but operated by FINN Air? We were the last group to board and they said “all remaining passengers must gate check their bags”. We got on board and there was plenty of bin space. I think they were so late- twice the flight delayed gate departure bc of maint issues- they just wanted the passengers to get seated quickly so their numbers would look good.. The lady sitting next to me had a back pack and a small handbag in the overhead. Most of the bin space was backpacks. If a passenger cant comply, why aren’t they not the last boarding group instead of faking an ailment to get to board first? those malingerers are always the first to jump up and two-step to the door when disembarking. Airline flight attendants need to take notice. These selfish ppl make flying difficult for Everyone else and cause customer dissatisfaction. I bought these tickets at peak fair and don’t feel like it was a good value at all. Oh and Full Flight from Origin and full flight connecting to destination.
What could improve is the way the crew treats us/passengers; also information should be offered more freely to us if there are significant delays especially when the delays negatively affect our connecting flights and plans at our final destinations.

However, the Kiwi.com travel agency did not flag that the ticket from BWI to London Heathrow allowed for one piece of checked luggage, but the ticket from London Heathrow onwards to Geneva did not allow for any checked luggage. Also astonishingly, we had to pass through Customs, reclaim our checked suitcases from the baggage carousel, and check in again through Customs to board the onward flight, both coming and going through London Heathrow. In addition to the extraordinary inconvenience that we could neither transit at London Heathrow to our connecting flight without going through Customs twice and that we could not check our luggage through to our final destination, we also had to foot a higher baggage charge to allow for checking in our suitcases, now that we had arrived in London Heathrow only to discover this that our onward ticket did not cover one piece of checked luggage. Had we known that the seemingly better price posted by Kiwi.com on Kayak’s comparative offerings came at such a high price of inconvenience and additional expense for the luggage, we would have taken our business elsewhere. It was deceptive of Kiwi.com to engage in such practices, even if it disclosed these conditions in fine print (for no one would expect, nor have I ever seen previously in the hundreds of flights I have taken as a Million Miler on United), without flagging this. Would have been helpful for the missed connections as I ended up stumbling through some spanish to help an older italian couple who didn't speak any english. it was surprising how little translation there was!"

One male attendant in particular was grouchy and touchy, physically grabbing tables and seats and repositioning the passengers for landing. Another wider attendant seemed to make it a personal vendetta to barrel into anyone who dared extend a shoulder into "her" aisle. During last two hours of flight, the cabin temperature soared into the high 80s (I blame the grouchy attendant), which was made worse because that model of plane didn't have personal air vents."
I did not know what to expect from Vueling as I had just heard of them when Air Iberia flight transferred this flight to Vueling. The integration between Kayak, eDreams, Air Iberia, and Vueling is not cohesive. I became concerned about a nightmare check-in process at the airport. Everything about the flight, however, was a delight. Check-in was efficient, and Vueling had the shortest check-in lines in the airport. As Vueling is a discount airline, the cabin is spartan but reasonable. The true delight came when deboarding the plane. The flight crew instructed us to deplane by rows, roughly five at a time. Passengers in other rows had to stay seated, and the cabin crew told those who stood up in other rows to sit back down. This made deplaning faster and more pleasant than the free for all stampedes on other airlines that intimidate older or smaller passengers.
A bus was needed to take passengers from the gate to the plane. There should have been move buses available to transport the passengers, however, it seemed there was only one bus running back and forth. It was very unorganized.
Very organized boarding and good communication from not only crew and pilot but appreciated the email updates the airline sends letting you know gate # in advance as well as boarding times. Both flights were short ones so food/entertainment N/A . But connection was extremely well managed ( again with email alerts regarding gate number and boarding times.) Luggage arrived like clockwork! Very smooth take off and landing too. Great experience.
At check in, an aisle seat was offered to me, which I really appreciated because I need more leg room and was traveling alone. The food was good. I also liked how there were separate lines for boarding groups in Madrid, which helped avoid confusion. Overall, I had a very good experience.
Had to fly standby with 15 other passengers from JFK to Madrid because flight from JFK left late. Charged me 4 euro for a cup of coffee! Bad customer service!
It would have been very helpful to have a notice re COVID testing requirements sent the day before the flight / we almost missed it, even though we were really early bc we had to test at the airport. Also, there was food served, and it would have been nice to know that this was included, since it was t on the way out… we are gluten free and didn’t know to order a special meal. This leg was on American Airlines, the leg to Spain was on Iberia

The meal quality was mediocre for the price paid, and their stock ran out pretty fast."
