At least one seat on each row should be eliminated, as well as one row to give economy class room. I was on the aisle (seat D), and was unlucky to have a woman and her husband (seats E & F) ask me to get up several times (because passenger in seat G was asleep). I was not at all happy with the movie choices; they were mostly modern and violent. Food selection was unavailable. Menu choices were chicken & fish. Chicken was NOT AVAILABLE."

Staff was very nice. Seats were comfortable. We had to wait in line 30 min for boarding. Otherwise everything else was excellent.

Very tight seats and spaces, almost impossible to watch the screen or eat a meal if the seat in front of you is pushed back. Attendants were not accommodating. Two meal options were offered, pasta & beef. Ordered pasta, I was told there is no more pasta. Ordered beef meal instead, received salmon meal. Later during flight I saw attendant sitting down in their station eating pasta meals. The list goes on....

Ewr staffing had us waiting on the tarmac for 30 min dor a marshaller and someone to get the jetway to the door. Not Turkish Airlines fault on that one. Seating in economy was tighter than previous flights. An older A-330 was our plan. 6’1” with long legs, had to put my feet in the aisle for most of the flight due to lack of space

The flight was delayed, didn’t hear any explanations or apologies. The snacks were bad or expired, the entertainment was poor, not a lot of options on the screen for kids and no games

Instructions for Business Class passenger boarding was not clear. A seperate seating area for Business Class at the gate would improve the experience significantly. Experience with check-in as well as experience on onboard the plane was excellent.

During our connecting flight in Athens our boarding passes wouldn't print at the self service computers and there was no one to help us so we had to go back out to the front desk. The airline representative was extremely rude. There was 5 employees standing around the computer with NO customers and when we asked if this was Turkish Airlines and if they could help, the woman (manager) responded "this WAS Turkish Airlines" as if they were done helping customers for the day (it was 9AM and our flight was leaving in 45 min). We explained that we couldn't print our passes and she ROLLED her eyes as if it was an inconvenience to help us. THEN on our flight from Istanbul to Chicago, a passenger died an hour into the flight and they placed the body on the seats behind us for over 10 hours! Nobody even told us what happened! We didn't know if they died from natural causes or if it was something else! They didn't offer to seat us somewhere else or even inform us they were placing the body there. We were completely shocked and uncomfortable the whole flight home. We couldn't eat or sleep. We're completely disgusted and scarred from this overall experience."

Called multiple times and was being hung up on multiple times and after finally getting through the custimer service representative was extreamly rude and was threatening to hang up the phone because I was asking her what I should do next . At the end of the day no Turkish airline associate was able to help us and had to buy another ticket with Emirats . Tar table customer service and just took our money regardless of us flying with you guys. Coming back my mother was sick and we tried to get our ticket dates increased but still wasn't able to and now my mother has to buy another ticket with another airline just because Turkish airline was the worse experience we have ever had and we always fly international ."

Pros: "For economy... seats were comfortable, great entertainment system, very good food with ample portions, very good service, good size bathrooms. One of the best experiences in economy for me and my wife (and we were on two Turkish flights for a total of 20 hours!) - and we travel alot!"

Pros: "Good airline. One passenger got sick from Dhaka to Istanbul flight and the plane had to make an emergency landing in New Delhi, India. We were en route again after couple of hours. However, we missed our connecting flight from Istanbul to IAD. But Turkish Airlines took care of us. Gave us hotel accommodation, food, etc. and even the visa fee. Also, being an elite member, was also able to use and enjoy the newly built CIP lounge at the Istanbul Airport while waiting for the flight to IAD."
Cons: "Customer service could be little bit better. Language seems to be a big problem. Not too many people understand English."

Cons: "the web check in doesn’t work. It was a nightmare trying to check in online and get seats. We set food preferences several times and in several ways (on phone , online and even confirmed it at check in) but we were not served the meals we ordered. This is a huge problem since we had the same issue going from EWR to BOM"

Cons: "No response in providing wheelchair assistance even though we requested via online/ calling airlines customer service."

Cons: "Vegetarian food was over by the time I came from bathroom even though it was registered in advance."
Cons: "At first, Air India checked our bags and made us wait for approx 4 hours in airport saying flight delayed and later after 4 hours said flight is cancelled and told everyone to go back home and come back next day to their office that is located away from the airport to rebook the ticket and they did not offer to refund the ticket. They never gave us our bags until after 8 hours something. They never cared of anyone for the entire 12 hours while we were in the airport. We had to spend our money to eat during the 12 hours time spend waiting and ended up booking a hotel room and buy another ticket from a different airline as Air India said they will not be sending us to the next flight as that is for the new passesngers only. Unbelievable experience. We had several stuff tied up to do once we arrive and we went through a nightmare to figure out several items. We did not have phones to communicate and had to go through hell to find a phone to talk with our kids who spend lot of time buying us the hotel room and air tickets for the next day on a different available airline."

Cons: "The boarding from Heathrow to EWR was confusing-- the monitor said "Boarding" two hours before the flight, which caused a lot of confusion for passengers. The airline was boarding a certain class of passenger, but there were no announcements to inform other passengers that they weren't doing general boarding at the time. The touch screens on the back of the seats are annoying (especially on a 7-hour flight) to the passenger in front, as they can feel the constant tapping through the seat."
Cons: "The flight was cancelled. On the phone I was offered a seat for a flight 5 days later. I had to go to the airport and be in line for 4 hours to be re-booked on United the next day."

Cons: "1. Flight going over was late - approx. six hours in the plane before it took off - that is understandable if there are technical problems. However, the flight coming back was late too and this was not communicated to the passengers in the waiting area. Waiting area @ gate 66 terminal 2 Mumbai airport was extremely cold. There were older folks & little kids trying to stay warm - nothing was done about this inspite of communicating it to the staff . 2. Flight from Mumbai to Newark - one bathroom was out of order from the time the flight took off. Another bathroom was totally trashed with paper & paper balls and water on the floor - wanted to take a picture and send it to higher authorities. Entertainment - map application was not working. Streaming movies/shows was constantly interrupted."
Cons: "Old and poorly maintained plane with half of the touch screen entertainment systems not working on the flight between Mumbai to Newark. Call buttons for calling the cabin crew did not work. Remote controls did not work. The seats are all broken and cracked at different places. Poor attention by staff. There was also a delay in our flight of which even the pilot was not made aware of by the maintenance team until the last moment. Poor and failing company. Would never fly with them again."

Cons: "Although we wrote two days ago requesting that kosher meals be provided, there were no kosher meals for my daughter and me. The airport said the plane was boarding, but an hour passed before they boarded us, and then we waited on the plane for more than an hour longer."

Cons: "For one, our flight was cancelled. This was after a three hour wait on the plane, a night in a hotel, and an entire day wasted trying to get a new flight. Air India told me they were legally obligated to get me to my final destination but only got me as far as the first stop where I spent a night in the airport and bought a new flight on my own dime. I've been in this situation before with other airlines and I was ALWAYS taken care of. I am a young girl and I don't have much money after spending it ALL on MULTIPLE flights home. I travel often and I can take care of myself, but this was a stressful and frightening experience. If it weren't for family I wouldn't be home. Will be fighting for every penny owed to me and everyone who helped me get home."
Pros: "I was pleased with the free blanket and pillow, however it was hard to get sleep when the pilot kept interrupting to tell the cabin unimportant information every 30 minutes for 8 hours. Entertainment selection was sparse and food was dry. The crew however was incredibly responsive and helpful."
