Cons: "The seats, hard as rocks, limited comfort, leg room, width everything, entertainment was down more then running, basically the cabin was dirty and as uncomfortable as I've ever seen or been in. I was more confortable sitting on bleachers with no padding than in one of this flights seats."

Cons: "I'm not a pilot but I've flown enough to know what turbulence is. I was one of the first to board and asked the flight attendant if there was food for purchase or any type of snack as my blood sugar was so low. I was also in pain and needed to take my medication. It was a 40+ minute flight however when one is handicapped you are at the mercy of the person taking you to the gate it's not like you can stop and look for a place to eat. It wasn't until we were almost at the destination we received a plastic cup and offered a sip of water. I sat right in front of the flight attendant and she could see my discomfort yet didn't offer a bag of peanuts or a drink"

Cons: "Delayed flight which didn't bother me as was due to maintenance. Couldn't hear the gate agent over the microphone. Updates of delay could have been more that just the initial announcement. Snack bag had 8pieces in it."

Pros: "The flight attendants were very pleasant, eager to assist in every way possible, but even they had problems figuring out how to light the individual seats in my row. I enjoyed the free entertainment and ability to choose from a variety of programs."
Cons: "Other than frequent offer of chips and water, the food services seemed long in coming, both in terms of a lunch 'snack' and the 'main' meal, which consisted of only a ham & cheese sandwich, barely warm, and difficult to chew because of the hard roll. I've never had such poor food on an international flight before."

Cons: "United only had one person working to check people in, and due to a lady with 8+ bags that the only agent had to take 20+ minutes with (while the line stacked up behind us), we ended up missing the first leg of our flight. Told us our bags would be checked all the way through, and they weren't. Checked bag got lost on the way back (again, due to misinformation from United on whether our bag would be checked all the way through), and when we got them back they had obviously been rooted through, with no note left by TSA. I fly often, and this was one of the worst flying experiences of my life."

Pros: "Quick boarding & on time. 70mph tail winds pushing us from Chicago to Dayton in 40 minutes! What's not to like. A 10:20 am flight 60% full."

Cons: "Maintenance delays on both legs more than 2 hours of delays put a huge damper on spending time with family. And I have never met a more rude gate attendent. Made me feel like I was not a person. Extremely disrespectful."

Cons: "Flight attendants were indifferent at best, mean and couldn't be bothered. I travel in 3rd world countries all the time and this was exponentially worse than any travel experience I've had. UAL needs to retire their indifferent employees who are clearly punching the clock until retirement. Several, not all, the flight attendants spent their time in the back gossiping and complaining about UAL management vs bringing out water (which they never did on a nearly 9 hour flight). If you have a choice, never fly UAL international."

Cons: "The flight was delayed about 4 hours but United did not tell us it was delayed even at the ticket office. We ran into the gate and found out that the flight was not even came from the US. There were many people (especially elderly people) who need to transfer another flight in DC. I think they did not make it."

Cons: "This is my second delayed flight on united / lufthansa in a few months (2 for 4). Horrible leg room and person in front of me had seat all of the way back so she was on my lap and I had to ask her to move up. Food just so so - carbs with carbs (pasta with cous cous). There was very little information about the flight delay (when would we be boarding, etc.)."

Pros: "We flew Air Canada to Venice and United Airlines from Barcelona to Washington. The United flight was very nice. The economy plus seats were spacious enough, the service great and the food acceptable. I titled this A Surprise" because of the Air Canada leg of the trip."
Cons: "Air Canada from Montreal to Venice was terrible. The plane was cold and and lacked any of the electronics available on most flights. the service was equally poor with food barely editable and no water offered to prevent dehydration. I was truly disappointed in Air Canada and having flown a variety of airlines around the world would expect more from such a great country."

Would say things like "I don't have time" and "we'll do it later when the cart comes around". Only had 1 drink service, I don't think they made it all the way to my row. Very different than flight from USA to Paris."

Cons: "Original flight was cancelled. After 6 hour delay. Second flight arrived to Dayton and sat on Tarmac for 1.5 hours. Sweltering heat, idiots working the gate, full plane. United owes these poor folks a lot. My 80 year old mother will never fly again due to this trip"

Cons: "Major delays at Chicago O Hare, little to no communication. Passengers were not told what was going on, or the reasoning for our plane being so late. 3 hour delay boarding, and also sat on runway for another 1.5 hours before takeoff. Once landed in Dayton, could not pull up to a gate for another 45 minutes. So much wasted time. I purposely picked an early flight so I could have more time with my family. Had to cancel my family dinner plans that night due to an extra 5 hours wasted."
