Scores according to KAYAK customer reviews
Cons: "So professional during this pandemic. I felt safe the whole time. Slept like a baby, the flight was so smooth."
Pros: "The crew was nice. They did a very good job under the circumstance."
Cons: "The flight was delayed over an hour because of an error on Delta‘s part. They did not verify people as they were boarding. Further the person in 17 F was doing video chat as we were preparing to take off and he had very foul language throughout the flight. The crew never said anything."
Pros: "Great crew!"
Cons: "Did not get upgraded :)"
Cons: "Delayed and did not explain why"
Cons: "We weren't alerted there was a chance of delays. Over two hours late."
Pros: "Almost 3 hours of delayed"
Pros: "Nothing exceptional stands out"
Cons: "Flight was not on time"
Pros: "Boarding was fast"
Cons: "The seats were incredibly uncomfortable. This was a Comfort + seat. Very hard, unbearable for an overnight flight."
Pros: "It was a brand new 737-900 with legroom, atmospheric lighting, very quiet engines, and LEGROOM in coach. The flight crew was top-notch as well."
Cons: "Nothing. Delta did very well with this one."
Pros: "Good seats"
Cons: "Worst transatlantic flight in 40 years. Filthy old seats and mine had a wet ironed stain. The seat in front of me was broken and reclined into my lap. That made the screen for entertainment unusable. The reading lights didn’t work. The toilets were a mess and never serviced."
Pros: "Excellent hospitality I asked for a cup of coffee at an odd time, the attendant went out of his way to brew fresh pot and served me, instead of just saying "Sorry sir, we don't have any coffee at this time....""
Pros: "Amazing crew and clean cabin."
Pros: "see above"
Pros: "Delta cramps people into these planes and forces you to put your bags under a seat because they stuff at the overhead spaces. They nickel and dime you for every single thing. There was even one person I saw who had to pay for his headphones to listen to the onboard entertainment. I think Delta should quit being so cheap with the profits they make and give it back to your flying customers. It borders on gouging."

Pros: "Free food. Extra room."
Cons: "Waiting on runway"
Pros: "Quick boarding, great seats and everything went on schedule."
Pros: "Love the 757 entertainment system"
Cons: "snack mix is not great delayed takeoff"
Pros: "Excellent attendants. Smooth boarding and on time flight."
Pros: "The entertainment was good."
Cons: "The check in and boarding process in Incheon was terrible! My flight ticket was printed and had the wrong name, which the agent at the check in desk did not catch. It was not until I went to the security line when they found a mismatched name. I was asked to go through security THREE TIMES. And then at the gate, I was supposedly "randomly selected" for ANOTHER swab/swipe security check. The flight itself was uncomfortable. There are not enough bathrooms for the number of people seated on the flight. The entertainment was the only excellent and recommendable thing about this delta flight."
Cons: "I was first in line for a 1st class upgrade. They didn’t upgrade me but when I got on the plane, the flight attendant randomly asked someone if they wanted to move to 1st class because of an open sest"
Pros: "My seat was randomly the exit row, so more leg room and pilots made great time"
Cons: "Left 20 minutes late because of travel agents"
Cons: "delayed flight"
Pros: "Eventually made it home. At 1am, when it should have been 1130pm."
Pros: "Enjoyed the flight and the attitude snd professionalism of the Delta staff. Only negative is that my entertainment screen did not work at all. The flight attendant tried resetting it but that did not work."
Cons: "Delayed 15 hours because of a mechanical issue, spent the night in Cancun. Customer service and communication throughout was terrible."
Pros: "my seat did not recline so i was very uncomfortable."
Cons: "Flight delayed 2 hrs"
Pros: "After almost every airline cancelled. Delta still took me to where I needed to go with not one single problem. That pilot was amazing. I forget his name. But the plane didn't slide or anything during take off. Amazing."
Cons: "What was there not to like. We were a little bit late but I wasn't in a rush. I planned well ahead. Delta moved my flight from 10 a.m. to 6 a.m. and that was perfectly fine with me."
Pros: "Was tired and the FA helped me find a row that I could stretch out on and relax. After a long trip from Moscow, the FA's volunteering to help and accommodate a beleaguered traveler was most appreciated!"
Pros: "Was initially hoping to fly a US airline but will now look for Aeromexico first. Exceeded my expectations!"
Cons: "The layover in Mexico City was a bit long and the airport was not so great"
Pros: "Seats were comfortable on the smaller plane"
Cons: "Barking dogs. 4 around us! Middle seat."
Pros: "Charging stations and in-flight texting."
Cons: "The pretzels were oily and nasty"
Pros: "Boarding, checking in etc. The usual stuff, nothign spectacular."
Cons: "Seats are getting too crowded!"
Pros: "Loved the safety presentation made by the live stewardess!!"
Pros: "The crew was beyond friendly and courteous. Lots of leg room."
Cons: "I was an older plane, it was louder than our flight down to Atlanta. Nothing they could do about it, but a slight annoyance."
Pros: "Friendliness of staff. Second flight was a newer plane - sweet!"
Cons: "For a long flight perhaps a little more in the snack department."
Pros: "The entertainment"
Cons: "We didn't get our seat assignment until we got to the gate. Attendant said it was because tickets bought too close to take off don't get to pick seats, but we bought our tickets about three weeks before. Also, my boyfriend and I sat in a full row while the row in front of us only had one person. It would've made more sense to put that person in one of our seats and us in that row to give four people more space instead of just one."
Pros: "on time, clean, prompt."
Pros: "Friendly and informative flight attendants kept the passengers in reasonable spirit."
Cons: "Left nearly an hour late after confusion related to oversold seats and upgrades. The gate agent entered the plane multiple times. The landing was rough, the brakes were loud."
Pros: "Delta is a mess to check in. Check in on line, print boarding passes then stand for an hour to get bag checked, in Cleveland an. urn ind almost as long in Austin. Terrible"
Cons: "Never announced we were over 10Kfeet and could turn on electronic equipment, attendant seemed cross when her question "pretzels or coockie?" was answered "yes.""
Pros: "The crew was friendly and accommodating, and service was good"
Cons: "I purchased a basic economy ticket and upon checking in, my Delta app said my seat was unassigned and I had to get my boarding pass at the airport. I checked back later and the app had me as number 7 on the standby list. I called Delta (wait time 3+ hours... my flight was in 3), and then the Delta app support where I was able to get through to someone. She told me that the ticket I purchased over a month in advance did not guarantee me a seat on the plane (???). She said that if I was bumped from the flight they would reschedule me for the next morning. She was pretty rude and made it seem like I had a 50/50 shot of getting on this plane. I rushed to the airport in hopes that I would be the first from Standby there, and the gate agent told me that I was fine and would board right after first class and be assigned a seat then. Great. Once I got my seat assignment, I board to find out there is someone else sitting in my seat...... They eventually called the desk and had her moved, but it was the weirdest boarding experience I've had.. and I've flown Spirit. These planes that Delta fly's are SO OLD. Both times I have flown Delta the "turbulence" has been so bad and cold air was blowing right on my the whole flight with no option to turn it off (it wasn't from one of the vents, but from the side). Someone close to me works for Delta and I know for a fact that some of their engines blow mid-flight.. and they tell the passengers that it's turbulence.. so that doesn't make me feel very safe. I won't fly Delta again if there is another comparable option."
Pros: "The crew & my seat"
Cons: "The movie offerings & the snack offerings."
Pros: "On time, clean plane, friendly service."
Cons: "The plane flew at a low altitude, which felt odd, but I am not a pilot and while I fly a lot commercially, I know that this short hop over open water probably has reasons for not going up to 30,000 feet. The fligh was smooth and the discomfort was based only on my comparison of this flight to longer, trans-Atlantic flights."
Pros: "I liked the in-flight entertainment and the crew was very pleasant"
Cons: "The seats are awful. If you're 6 ft or taller, your legs barely fit if at all. Boarding is ridiculous."
Cons: "Flight attendants were a little snobby and didn't treat all passengers equally, in my humble opinion (note: I was sitting in 1st class)."
Pros: "Not much"
Cons: "Delta cancelled direct flight and we ended up standby on two flights, getting into NYC much later. Not nice."
