Crew is phenomenal. Helpful with anything you may need. Lots of entertainment options. Food was good. On time, no complaints.

Cons: "Aircrew took my carry on away while I was waiting to board saying it was too large; left me without the essential items I wanted during the 19.5 hours in the air and two plane changes. Other people were allowed to keep carry ons bigger than mine so I don't understand why they did this."
Pros: "The customer service at the Check-in, the flight attendants, the movies and the meals. More than my expectations! Will definitely use Singapore Air in the future in my travelings! Will recommend it to my circle of friends and relatives! Thank you very much. You are the best airline I've used since 1976!"
Cons: "Ran out of options for dinner and could not eat the macaroni cheese they had on offer, so got 2 small packets of nuts instead...international flight running out of food options? Pretty slack. A part of the interior wall fell off onto my foot upon take off and I had to hold it in place for a while until a hostess came....doesn’t give you the best feeling when the plane starts breaking on take off. One of the male stewards was appalling towards a young mum I sat next too...too the extent of giving her dirty looks because she spilled a bit of water on the seat and then told her she had to pack everything away she was using, including the baby wipes! I stepped in and told him how this was not ok and all other staff members were helpful and he was making this Mum upset. He should not be working for such a people friendly reputable airline! Maybe Jetstar instead! Was appalled at the entire flight to be honest!"

Pros: "I loved everything! The plane was well maintained, the crew were friendly and attentive, the flight was comfortable even for such long hours. Food was also great! In flight entertainment had recent movies and shows, even international selections."
I booked this through Travelgenio and requested a cancellation due to COVID related impact. Their customer service was absolutely terrible and they informed me after the flight had departed that they could not cancel my ticket. Worst experience, will never use them again. Strongly reconsidering using Kayak in future given how poor the travelgenio experience has been.

To be honest the plane was one of the newest model around but looking and observing at the seats and restrooms, etc, I was not impressed. I feel like it was so cheaply done and maintenance was so poor."

I say that this experience is the worst and will be forever be embedded/marked on my list. They should look into service more to make up for other shortcomings I observed. Really felt bad not for me but for the other people who also got mistreated with the crews rudeness and their mean attitude towards work and guest. I work in a service Industry and all I can say they are not even at par to our lowest standards in what we do at our work."

Pros: "Still have not flown out of Vancouver...24 hours later. Flight was delayed because of fog apparently but all other planes were landing and my connection had just landed in it. They did a terrible job updating everyone, no announcements were made so people individually had to go up to the counter. Finally after 2.5 hours of delays they said they just decided to cancel the flight and there would be another one at 7am the next morning. Once everyone got to the check in counter with their luggage they had 2 people dealing with everyone and the line up was all the way down the airport. All they needed to do was gift hotel information which was alittle slip basically saying try one of these 3 hotels. The staff member I dealt with was so confused as to why i had my checked buggage eventhough all 100 people in line had theirs and we were told it would have to be rescheduled and tagged for the morning flight. Seemed crazy how someone who worked for the airline was very confused, I spent 5 minutes explaining it to her then she ran away for 5 to speak to her coworker and came back to say I was correct. They then told everyone who was connecting in Hong Kong to call this 888 number to book their connection. The number tells you to leave a voicemail if you’re basically not calling for accounting or finance! I left a voicemail...of course no call back. You can also reschedule online it says, so I tried and it tells me that my ticket number isn’t correct eventhough it is! It’s the same one on my boarding pass and on my electronic boarding ticket. I decided I’ll just have to wait till I’m at the airport for my 7am flight...wake up to go for the 7am flight and they have delayed it AGAIN until 4pm. We are staying at an airport hotel and you can here planes consistently flying in...not sure the issue. Overall, experience has not been a good one. Staff is confused and communication is poor. I’m feeling doubtful we will ever make it to Hong Kong and Bangkok at this point."

The flight was delayed for almost 5 hours, but I understand that it was not up to the company, however how they could handle the situation better, they never apologized for that delay, moreover despite passengers being there for 7 hours only thing they did was to give a bowl of instant noodles, afterwards on the plane tiny snacks, people were there starting from lunch time and we’ve arrived to destination at almost midnight
