I’m an EP on AA every year for more than a decade but this was a very pleasant and surprising experience. Clean and sizable plane for HOU to CHI. 5 row first class. And excellent food in first class the steak option was really good. Your flight attendants even better. Seat 5A

From check-in and baggage drop to the end of the 12-hour flight, the customer service was exceptional, with numerous staff members exemplifying the very best in care. On board, Andre, our primary crew chief, was sincerely friendly, a consummate professional, and, along with Freddy, one of his team members, truly among the best of the best. The captain even came through the cabin to chat with passengers—a wonderful personal touch, especially on such a long journey.

Entertainment center did not work and no electric available at seat for 11 hour flight. Didn’t have access to overhead light or call button. Food was tasteless and had a high salt (27 %) of recommended daily salt intake

It was hot and not as comfortable as the flight to Chicago. Must have been a different plane that needs to be worked on or replaced.

What would be infinitely better if for Kayak to not offer this flight as if it was completely different airlines rather than United and then filtering me through some creepy discount site.

Wonderful flight! The crew was good, check-in was good and orderly and the flight was uneventful and good.

Tired of being nickel and dimed for every little thing, especially carry-on luggage.

Late start, late arrival and very uncomfortable seats. No legroom, no elbow room because the person next to me was fat. I had to press myself toward the aisle or be rubbing arms with them. As a result, I was bumped every time someone passed in the aisle. But I couldn't get away from the hip encroachment. Who wants to rub hips with an oversized stranger for over 2 hours? I'm not fat, just tall and larger-than-average frame so I need to leg room but it would be nice if other peoples' body parts weren't squeezing under and over the arm of the seating. Why should it cost me so much for simple comfort so United can get a little more profit?
