Your gate agent went above and beyond throughout my check in process.. all staff are very welcoming and general CS levels in my experience, are exemplary. Already booked for my return itinerary.
RJ team was very well organized and helpful. The Alaska ground crew were rude and not very helpful. Alaska airplane crew were very nice and helpful I will avoid Alaska in the future.
My flight, on Friday, was canceled at boarding time, so by the time that it took to go through customer service, rebook a flight for the next day (which messed up our weekend plans), get my luggage and get a hotel room, it was around 1am. We were notified too late to make other travel arrangements for Friday. My Saturday flight to Bellingham was smooth and uneventful. Hopefully getting reimbursed for the hotel room won’t be a big hassle
I love Alaska and Horizon… even in the short flights, they always offer something… and everyone is cheerful and helpful. It was stormy weather but the flight was quite smooth… the pilots clearly moving up and down a wee bit to avoid turbulence.

Cons: "One of the flight crew today was a bit on the grumpy side and made several negative comments about Alaska and about customers. Totally not typical for Alaska. Also - In Seattle had to load onto a bus and drive out to the plane.... another layer to a journey. They were well organized BUT"

Pros: "Boarding was strange - it was still in groups although we were shuttled to our airplane. I was glad it wasn’t a packed flight as I wasn’t smushed by my neighbors in the seats. Very little turbulence, smooth taking off and landing. I like that I was able to watch free movies without having to pay for WiFi."
Cons: "The shuttle broke down on the way to the airplane and had to wait for another. The good part was that we didn’t wait very long (less than 10 minutes) for another to arrive. No free WiFi."

Cons: "We have a service dog onboard, and the flight attendant was brusque when giving instructions about how he can fly, which came off as rude. All of her instructions were unnecessarily snappy, but that’s the one that struck me most. He’s a service dog. He’s allowed to be here. Seats are too hard/rigid, and I wasn’t able to get much sleep due to discomfort/screaming babies. I don’t blame the babies though."

I was very impressed by the assistance provided, as well as the professionalism of the flight attendant who helped a passenger who fainted in the aisle. Well done"

The individual was standing in the gangway laughing and looking healthy while the passengers had to debark the plane and wait for 2 more hours before resuming the flight to Hawaii. When we arrived the majority of shops were closed; it was 7 hours late. Alaska offered a $200 voucher to make up for this."
Pros: "Straight through flights to and from Portland were such a bonus. The price was reasonable, especially during the holidays. I like that Alaska does not charge you for every little thing. They seem to still value the customer and want to make the flight comfortable."

The flight attendants did nothing but gossip about other flight attendants (good and bad), their home life,etc. One rammed me with the cart & their body, woke me up, didn't even apologize. Just felt it was rude. I pay for my flight. I was trying to rest on my 4 hour flight before I had to tend to daughter who had cancer, I need the rest. And for what I paid, I should be able to. Not listen to Alaska's drama within."

Pros: "This flight did not exist - I ended up with a flight from Bellingham to Seattle, but they cancelled that and I ended up having to catch a bus at 4 am to Seattle to catch my flight to Indianapolis. Now I have to track down how to get reimbursed for the bus ticket, which is not easy for me."

Cons: "First class was full. Paid to upgrade for what is referred to as Premier class I believe. Was in row 6 seat D. Crammed against the wall. Seats seemed abnormally tiny. Before even boarding the flight, the smell of the lavatory wafted strongly through the jet way. It only got worse from there. From the time we took off to the time we landed, the plane was absolutely saturated in an overwhelming pungent putrid smell, that one could only expect was from the lavatories. That aside, I personally don't understand what constitutes Premier class, or premium-class whichever the case may be. Anyhow, my experiences with Alaska have generally been positive, but this flight however was an absolute disappointment in a number of ways. To be clear, the crew was courteous and professional. I guess it's just been awhile since I have flown in the teeny tiny seats that I guess are considered standard."
