The tickets we had purchased through Kayak were charged but not booked. Juan did everything in his power to get us on that flight. And when the kayak company failed to book in time Juan got us on the next available flight, being to sure to find us the best price and a direct flight, versus the one we had booked earlier. Over all Alaska Airlines will be the standard my future experiences will be based off of if I am unable to travel through them"

Comfort+ on delta was excellent room for a 6’4” male. No one issues. Staff was great. Flight was bumpy but the pilot did everything he could to make it comfortable. Internet went out half way through the flight. I am glad I didn’t pay for it. But that was a huge issue for users.

Upon arrival in China the 144 hour travel visa was granted with no problem within minutes, but the U.S. staff was completely befuddled by the possibility. The interrogation was completely stressful and resulted in a reschedule of the original flight and during the second attempt at flying even an email from the U.S. consulate with a link to the Shanghai/Chinese government immigration site was deemed "not official enough". i will be expecting proper compensation. I was once given an $850 travel voucher for voluntarily giving up my seat, and was flown first class to Hawaii, given 4 star accomodation and then flown first class on to China within 48 hours. This was an involuntary bump from our chosen flight time, all because of a lack of knowledge about current visa regulations and international law on the part of the check in staff. We have been loyal Delta users for over 15 years, and this was the biggest blunder ever. Also humiliating and extremely frustrating, stressful and a big problem with fulfilling our travel plans between son and father."

Dinner was cleared and lights turned down about 1.5 hours later, including three opportunities for beverages. Lights came back up only about an hour before landing. Despite that no one seemed rushed. Seconds were offered for coffee, passengers had time to use the restroom before de-planing. We likely had almost 4 hours of our approximately 7.5 hour itinerary to attempt sleep."

I have been flying with United to go home to Hawaii for over a decade and have never been treated so poorly by a flight attendant on this airline. I am seriously considering flying with Delta, Southwest, and JetBlue exclusively from now on after this experience."

Cons: "They must have changed my seat multiple times. Originally i was given the first seat. Then changed to 11d. However when i scanned my boarding pass the lady indicated i was in an exit row. 11d was of course occupied. So i moved from seat to seat in the exit row (8) until i finally got the only empty seat which was presumably mine."
Cons: "Crew members were not friendly. There was no in-flight entertainment available, and no snacks that were complimentary."
Cons: "Ever since gas prices went up to 5 a gallon years ago, the airlines started charging for food, checked bags etc etc. Now that gas prices have come down, the airlines still charge for said items. Totally LAME"

Cons: "The day we were to return to San Francisco United cancelled our flight making us scramble to get another flight. Thank goodness for Alaska. They got us a return flight and went to Seattle instead of San Fransico. United and San Francisco is a joke. Never again."

Cons: "On both flghts we requested a bassinet for our 3 month old. We were told on the phone if one was available we were able to have it. Both flights had bassinets but we weren't allowed access to them. On our first leg the bassinet was in economy plus and we were economy. On the way home our fight was downsized to a smaller plane and the airline was too busy trying to cut 25 people off the fight they weren't able to give us a seat where the bassinet would be. We asked several flight attendants and got different answers from each one."
Cons: "Honestly, the customer service with United was in need of serious improvement, from the moment we checked our bags to the time we were in flight, we were given very poor service, the man at baggage check in was extremely condescending, acting like we should know everything about United's processing instead of just helping us with our needs in the first place and it added unnecessary extra stress to our travels from Colorado to Hawaii. I don't even want to blame the employees as it was very obvious that they hated their jobs and just wanted the shift to be done with; something needs to be addressed about how they can accommodate both employees and paying customers alike. Let's just say I can't wait until Hawaiian Airlines expands to Denver flights so we never have to deal with United again, as this is the only reason we used this airline."
Pros: "They offered complementary snacks and water at the gate when the flight was delayed by 2 hours for mechanical reasons. After such a long and tiring day, when I went to buy a drink onboard, the flight attendant didn't charge me. It was done as a courtesy for the lengthy delays. This was much appreciated and honestly made the irritation with the delays disappear. It's amazing what a little thing like that can do for a person. All the flight attendants were gracious and helpful. Overall, they made the flight good."
Cons: "I had to run to make this connecting flight due to the previous flight leaving an hour late, only to learn the flight was delayed. It was delayed 2.5 hours for maintenance."
Cons: "Over 3-hour delay. Various text messages including one that indicated the flight was leaving 5 minutes earlier; then it was delayed again!"

Cons: "Food (chicken) was utterly disgusting. I found the seats rather uncomfortable -- my back was really hurting at the end of the flight and that isn't normal."

Cons: "I had a connection flight to San Francisco and then from there to Honolulu and the flight from Portland to SF got delayed 5 times to up to 4 hours late so I would've missed my second flight from SF to HNL. They couldn't do anything about it so they put me on the next available flight, the next MORNING. So I had to go spend a night in a hotel which I had to pay for and wait for the next flight in the morning the next day. Next day the flight got delayed yet again this time little over 2 hours. So I would've missed the flight from San Francisco do Honolulu yet again. This time they managed to find a little later flight and put me on that but still had to wait at the airports for over 8 hours. Super mad about how United works... Had problems with my boss as well because I was supposed to work the next day but they rescheduled my flight for that day. Really not a pleasant experience..."
