Pros: "The fruit and platter, instead of the meal offerings in first class.. Delicious. Warm nuts. delicious. Salted caramel brownie, not good at all. People in first class need to pre- order their meals on the Alaska app, so you will get what you want for your meal. Flight attendants were excellent. Knowledgeable. A medical emergency happened during the flight, the flight crew were very good at assessing the situation, and accessing help on board, as well as on the ground. We hit a lot of turbulent air the last portion of the flight, two aborted attempts at landing, and a long while of figure eights over the KC area to wait out the thunderstorms and wind, we arrived well over an hour late. The flight crew instilled calm, and made us feel safe."

Pros: "The flight crew messed up, and didn't see that the people behind my row had a carseat that wasn't aloud to be in the exit row, so they asked my row to switch with them, we all said yes. In exchange for the inconvenience (especially because the seats we were moved to didn't recline) they hooked us up with a ton of free food, movies, and even beers! Everyone was so nice, and our plane had plenty of leg room. To be honest, Alaskan Airlines has become my new favorite Airline"

We actually got to the airport almost 3 hours ahead of time and I had a seat and my wife didn't. Rather than being able to get to the airport and relax we were left in a state of turmoil about whether or not we would get on the flight or not. I can't drive so we need to be on the flight together and we wanted to fly together"

So on top of a plane ticket that was no where close on being on time going or coming back, there was a 25 dollar baggage handling each way, a $40 upgrade (So I can try an get some sleep as we were 2 hours behind coming home, I understand this was optional) and then 22.50 parking fee. So, a $350 dollar ticket turned into a $350+25+25+40+22 = $460 dollar plane ticket. Alaskan airline is not as good of deal as you might think."
Cons: "Alaskan airline can't be on time. they said that they have an 80% on time rating, but the first 2 flights I have ever taken with them (out and back) have both been late, and not just a few minutes. KC to SEA nearly 4 hours late, SEA to KC an hour and a half late. Cheaper, but less reliable. and on top of it all I had to pay 6 dollars for the movie. A movie that was skipping and jumping around"

They put my husband and I in an exit row and my daughter at the back of the plane with strangers. I was not comfortable with strangers being responsible for my child. I assumed they would seat children with at least one parent. We did ask to move at the gate and the accommodated us with the last row on the plane. No recline, no window, and right next to the bathrooms. We took it to be with our kid but this policy needs to be revised. Kids should always be seated with the adult responsible for them... who knows what kind of person might end up next to my child. Not to mention if she had needed something is the stranger gonna take care of it? It’s just a bad practice imo."

I would rather be hours late getting home than feel like my life was possibly gambled with. My boyfriend quietly had a panic attack while we were on board. Would not fly Delta again because of this experience."

Pros: "The flight was nearly full, but I lucked out. One person in my row did not show up, so myself and the other lady in my row had the benefit of having an open seat in between us. The crew was cheerful and accommodating. They did the normal beverage service, but also brought complimentary water and coffee 3x during the rest of the flight. This was greatly appreciated, especially after 5 days of drinking and partying. My buddies and I spent two and a half days in Las Vegas for a bachelor party followed by two days in the LA area for a wedding (yes we did it Hangover style) :) Thank you Delta!"

Cons: "At the DFW security post for my gate, there was NO TSA-pre. That service stops at 7pm. I would think at a major airport like DFW where American Airlines has a hub, they would make sure to staff that longer. Just getting to keep my shoes on, while having to drag all my electronics and liquids out, take my coat and belt off, etc. is not acceptable. AA should put the pressure on DFW to treat their customers better!"

However, coming to the gate an hour before boarding the personnel working gate the said he was having computer difficulties and could not get me a seat and it would be 10 min. I continued to return till boarding to find out I had no seat and I was on standby. Upon going to customer service they replied the airline oversold tickets and every airline does this as if to make this practice ok. Well being in sales myself and if I were to sell x amount of product to one customer ( or several) I better make sure I have it all there to deliver. People rely on you schedule wise. It nearly shot a meeting I had to make in the foot. Very disappointed with the airline and the way things were handled."

Cons: "With checking my luggage my bag fee was waived a total of seven times this trip because I'm a military wife to see my husband overseas who is serving a year in Saudi Arabi except this past time on October 2nd at DCA airport. Spoke with the Supervisor Ralph who stated it was against policy. How stringent is this policy if it was waived seven times previously? Policy needs to be reviewed with entire staff. I will no longer use American Airlines because their military convenience and policies no longer seem to favor the military. My husband also after speaking with him will also no longer use your airline including all his members he overseas when they return after their year tour."

I an chose other airlines that seat us next to each other without paying 30$ more per seat per flight. I am a mileage plus card holder too."

Pros: "The gate agent kept us well informed about our delayed flight - she kept calling to find out status of the flight and reported her findings to us after every call. United provided water and snacks in the gate area as we waited. Gate agent was pleasant and helpful to everyone during the delay."
Cons: "Got a call at 3:00 am saying our flight would be delayed an hour from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. and offered optional flights at no charge. Stayed with original flight since this was a direct flight. The flight ended up being 3 1/2 hours late. We had to wait for a ferried plane from Chicago. Just wondering if United knew at 3:00 am that they had problems, why did it take 13 hours for them to resolve it?"

Pros: "I had a good amount of time between each flight, every plane was waiting at the gate when I arrived, every flight arrived early."
Cons: "Free entertainment on the TVs would have been nice, but the United App Entertainment is good tool."

Pros: "Nice staff"
Cons: "Small uncomfortable seating and comfort in general. Terrible WiFi"

Cons: "Due to United delays in Bogota we were put on a standby flight 3 hours later. We didn't get on. Then had another connection two hours later that was delayed due to maintenance. Spent over 10 hours in airport. And over a total of 30 hours traveling ☹️"

Pros: "The flight crew seemed worn and a bit surly. They ran out of two of the meals and the one I got was oddly seasoned but it was warm. We sat on the ground quite a while while they fixed the PA system with no water then there was a women they'd let on the flight even though she had a different destination - supposedly they spent an hour looking for her bag on the plane. Do you hold up a whole plane load of people that got on the right plane for the woman that didn't and how come when they checked her ticket - no one noticed?"

Pros: "Very nice flight attendant!"
Cons: "They must have changed my seat multiple times. Originally i was given the first seat. Then changed to 11d. However when i scanned my boarding pass the lady indicated i was in an exit row. 11d was of course occupied. So i moved from seat to seat in the exit row (8) until i finally got the only empty seat which was presumably mine."

Pros: "We toured the Boeing plant in Everett (Seatle.) I wish I had bought a T-shirt I saw in the gift shop. It read, "If it ain't Boeing, I ain't going.""
Cons: "Except in the row right behind 1st Class, the seats are kinda crammed (in.) On a commercial on one flight, during the spiel about safety, the movie screen showed about 5 or 6 cabin attendants putting up their trays in prep for landing. Tey all leaned forward as far as they could to reach their trays. I looked around. I could reach my tray with my arms at my sides. If the actual airplane had had it'w seats spaced apart as in the movie, the plane would have been fully loaded with some 35 passengers. I forgot what airline it was, maybe yours?"

Cons: "Kansas City airport is in need of a complete remodel."

Cons: "The day we were to return to San Francisco United cancelled our flight making us scramble to get another flight. Thank goodness for Alaska. They got us a return flight and went to Seattle instead of San Fransico. United and San Francisco is a joke. Never again."

Cons: "There was literally one person who controlled the flight, from check in to guiding the taxiing plane. It was so bizarre"

Pros: "First class it was owsome"

Pros: "Though the airplane arrived late for boarding (due to inclement weather and air-traffic), the airline worked fast to make sure that the plane was clean and ready to board. The hostesses were very kind and helpful."
Cons: "There were no gluten-free options for snacks. There was no entertainment, which isn't really a problem for shorter flights."

Cons: "We have to pay for food on a 2 hour flight? Just snacks, no meal even though it was dinner time. The stewardess doing announcements was obnoxious. She had an odd way of speaking with strange pauses, she kept calling it Kansas instead of Kansas City, and she made condescending remarks about it."

Cons: "The flight was delayed by over 4 hours, there was no clarity on what was going on. They made us change aircrafts, the ground staff was mean at best. In spite of the 4 hour wait they didn't even bother serving food or made any announcement to handle passenger anxiety and concerns. Delays are sometimes unavoidable and I have had experiences in the past but none that was handled this unprofessionally"

Pros: "I made it to the airport safe and sound."
Cons: "It was a complete cluster as if no one knew what was going on. Once we were finally able to board we sat on the plane for an additional 30 minutes or so because the air conditioning went out on the plan and we all had to sit there in the scalding heat while they fixed it."

Pros: "Nothing to like"
Cons: "Did not like having my flight pushed back and back and back, to then be cancelled due to "air traffic control". Did not like my flight being rescheduled to 3 days later and that day being 4th of July. Did not like buying another flight for $300 so I could get to where I was going."

Cons: "Everytime I was about to board there always seemed to be a problem with the flight it didn't even miss. Having so many problems caused delays. When other people including myself had other connections to get to and made me run through airports and I actually missed a flight and instead of taking one direct flight to Puerto Rico I had to take two more flights."

Cons: "The person next to me was very large. Large enough that they should have paid for two seats. You never would have known there was supposed to be an armrest between us. He was big enough that he pre- boarded with people with disabilities and had the armrest folded up when I sat. He spilled over on to my side and had some of his weight on me. I was pushed out into the isle enough that the attendant rammed my knee with her cart. I was keeled over the isle armrest I develope shoulder and back pain."

Cons: "When I boarded the plane, I noticed crumbs and grease marks on my seat and crackers all over the floor at my feet. Rather than clean my area, the stewardess handed me wet wipes."

Cons: "Late by almost an hour"

Cons: "We were delayed, no big deal. Then we got on the plane and set there on a hot plane for over 30 minutes waiting."

Pros: "That this horrible flight was short."
Cons: "When checking in I was given option to upgrade to Economy Plus. I usually do pay the extra $25-$50 to get a little extra leg room, ever since airlines such as United have taken to stuffing more and more seats without any consideration to their customers comfort. Charging money to get a few precious inches back is really nothing short of extortion, but I play along just to avoid being cramped over the course of any given flight. On this flight there was absolutely no difference between the upper two "Economy Plus" aisles and the aisle I had originally purchased. Basically I was deceived into paying an extra $43 for the privilege of being served my complimentary can of coke ahead of everybody else. Ever heard of the Unfair, Deceptive, or Abusive Acts or Practices under Dodd Frank, United Airlines? This is no different. Shame on all of you, greedy nickel and diming extortion artists. You are despicable and I will remember to avoid flying your not so friendly skies in future."
