SW can't get their wifi right. I upgrade to insure wifi service but the last two trips had intermittent service. Not worth the extra costs.
Southwest is kind of a slum airline. It’s gotten more expensive over the years for less and less service. I am a Southwest Chase Visa card holder and was forced to choose a seat in the 26th row in the middle seat. However my wife who is a rewards member but doesn’t hold a card or anything else, gets randomly assigned a normally paid seat in row 6! How does that work?
The seat was not comfortable. 1D. My back was sore all night and the next day.
The new seating arrangement is so over priced for what you get.
An entire day of delays. Cost lots of money. Meals and a hotel.
Only downside was the legroom and seat width, which is always a problem unless I spend more for a premium seat.

No delays and arrived to destination 30 min early. Staff was super friendly.

Comfort was poor as usual. At least they were on time. How sad a statement is that...
American notified via app that the flight was delayed. However, when I went to the gate, they were already boarding and had not updated communications that they had pulled the flight time back. They made the entire flight re-check in which by this time I had lost my exit row seat and ended up in a middle seat. As a 4 decade flyer of American and Exec Plat, my expectations for the company are that the customer service would be better. This unfortunately is no longer a strong point for any of the major airlines including American. They are basically city buses flying at 30 thousand feet.
The power outlets were not working for my row. Also felt like the seats have gotten smaller. I was in the window seat and felt like suffocated, as the two passengers next to me were tall and wide.
No service on New Orleans to DFW or DFW to San Antonio. Also no explanation from the captain why we had no AC. Unacceptable!
They lost my bag on both the going and return flight of my round-trip.
My Frequent Flyer nber wasn't put on as I was told it was..... This resulted in a last group boarding and no priority tags on My bags.
Generally good. Flight left on time and the seats are comfortable. Plenty of space in front if you in you choose a comfort plus seat, completely worth spending the extra money given the amount of hours the flight lasts. The food tastes good but I would say it’s a the amount is too little. The crew was friendly and efficient. There was a some turbulence at different points into the flight. American Airlines has good deals to NZ if you book with plenty of time before you plan on going.
Flight attendants on this flight were very attentive and friendly
Flight didn’t get dinner on business. I was starving!
These are the things that AA did right on this flight:1 Smooth Boarding Process, 2 Departed on time, 3 Arrived early at destination 4, Friendly and courteous staff. Great job AA!
Crew timed out for a 7:20am flight. They had to fly another crew in. Didn’t leave until 3pm. Very poor communication throughout the day. Received a $12 food voucher and 8000 miles for compensation. Bags delayed in San Diego - came in on later flight. Delivered around 11:30pm
