Would be nice to get a better estimate as to how long it would take to board so that I could hang out in the lounge. In addition, departure from JFK was delayed as well, either we missed the IFR window or got stuck behind some traffic and I fell asleep on the plane only to wake up what seemed an hour later just getting ready to hit V1. No upgrade."

Pros: "I didn't get a chance to get the gentleman's name at the gate, but he was able to get me on the earlier flight (since I had NO luggage and only 1 carry on that fit under my seat) and didn't charge me the stupid fee for filling a seat that was empty when I was giving up a seat on a later flight that would accommodate those who missed this earlier flight. Nice to see kindness in an industry that seizes fees on every opportunity."

Since I was in the last boarding group, Had to check in my bag since it was already full, had fragile stuff in there and hoping everything is ok. it is what it is. Not anyone's fault but disappointing to have to do when I didn't plan on checking in and going to pick up at the baggage claim. This is what i wanted to avoid in the first place. could have at least offered to let us pick them up as we deplaned and not baggage claim!"

Cons: "First of all, this flight was not good; that was my rating for the first leg of CLE to DFW. DFW to SJC was a disaster due to weather and multiple equipment changes. Overall the flight was delayed 7 hours, from 4:50pm to 11:40pm. I opted to reschedule for the following morning -- and that flight ended up being delayed for an hour due to equipment changes and mechanical issues. Door-to-door I spent 30 hours getting from CLE to SJC."

The gate of outgoing flight to Bloomington kept changing on phone m messaging shortly before takeoff , about 6 gate changes in 10 minutes. Confusing!"

Airline policy seemed to be "Give me the money and I will deliver you safely. Period" Humanity seems to be last on airline list. Traveling is seriously grueling and unpleasant for all those not in First Class."

They claim that the cabinet in the plan is full while actually there is plenty of spaces for multiple luggages to be there. The crew was rude and refuse to explain it in an acceptable way. When I asked why cant I carry it when there is enough space, she simply says because you just can't. Do you want to take the plan or not! This is unacceptable."

I was quickly routed to the desk to get a replacement ticket, and even though the flight was oversold, they had me wait around until the plane was ready to take off. A couple minutes after they shut the door of the boarding bridge, I was called and told to follow one of them. It turns out a couple of people were headed to the right city in the wrong country."

Cons: "The flight was continuously delayed and ultimately cancelled. There weren't a lot of connecting flights until much later the next day, and the customer service was fair at best."

The pilot was completely unprofessional - he tried to make light of the situation. At first it was funny but the jokes soon got old. There was little attempt to to update as the delay kept getting longer and longer. We learned more about the delay from our phone apps than from the crew. Most idiotic and incompetent group I've ever flown with."

Cons: "First I bought a ticket from Spirit Airlines SFO to MCO for 309$, then I saw charges from frontier Airline, frontier airlines bought a ticket for me too for 287$, when I was just watching checking the price. Then I compared the tickets, both the time, but from Frontier Airlines was cheaper then I stayed with frontier and cancel the other reservation from Spirit Airlines the next day I see frontier airlines also cancelled that reservation and I had to rebook another ticket for 496$, the price went up, then I had to pay 187$ extra, IT WAS A FRAUD JOB FROM FRONTIER AIRLINES, I can prove everything above with the receipts and the dates on it, the worse experience I had"

Pros: "Arrived 40 minutes early so can't be too sad about that especially since a gate was available immediately. Jet bridge in SF was heated but in Denver where it was colder and he had to wait it was not. The check in lady clearly did not care about her job at all I'm Denver. Frontier is a budget airline which for this trip worked for me as I was able to pack everything in a "personal item" and don't mind sitting in the back of the plane, I got lucky and got asigned a window seat. No drinks offeed without a charge which I don't agree with but again you get what you pay for. And it's way better than Spirit."

Never was another flight to,Cleveland bumped so we could return home. And the stories of horror other passengers had last night...all about Frontier, one man previously had totally missed a cruise! This is not how to maintain nor run an airlines. I will not be giving Frintier another chance."

But after going to a farther away airport and paying for bags and seats and drinks and sitting in an uncomfortable seat, I am not so sure it was a great deal. I am happy that I did pay less than other airlines even with the cost of checking a bag (less cost than carrying one one) and for the seat. Because it is more costly to carry on a bag, hardly anyone did leaving lots of room in the overhead compartments and speeding up boarding and deplaning considerably. Snacks and drinks were reasonably priced and lower cost than in the airport. Only snacks like chips and beef jerky are available so if you want food, bring your own. Flight attendants were friendly. My bag arrived on the same flight that I did and it was in good condition. We were reasonably close to on time."
Cons: "Seats are short front to back and don't recline. There was barely enough room between seats to force by backpack down to the floor and almost no room on the floor to hold it leaving me with no where to put my feet except on top of it. My legs are long and about 1/2 of my leg was not supported by the seat. This was manageable for a short flight but I would certainly not book a long flight with these seats. We spent considerable time on the tarmac waiting at both ends. I am not clear on the delay at the beginning of each flight. The delay at the end was related to Frontier only having 1 gate at each airport so we had to wait until it was free. Yes, we landed 20 minutes ahead of time, but we got into the gate 20 minutes late - meaning sitting on the tarmac for 40 minutes. Bags were slow to come up. Probably because everyone checked them so there were many."

You know what they said? The airline was so understaffed that day that they didn't have enough people to get the baggage up the ramp and onto the plane! THAT'S why we sat there for over an hour! As well, I have never been more crowded on a plane in my life. I am a thin woman of average height, yet I couldn't put a book in the seat pocket in front of me because my knees were already touching it. Bags cost money, Drinks, including coffee and soda, cost money. And no one on the crew ever smiled. I will never fly Frontier again."

Cons: "The pilots were an hour late after we had already boarded and provided no explanation or appologies."

Cons: "Delayed again. This time by 2.5+ hours. They nickel and dime you for everything. - charges to check a bag, for carry-on baggage, to get a seat assignment, for a soft drink....I will not fly Frontier again if I can help it."

Pros: "Frontier claims to be the cheapest, but they add additional fees to bring a carry on item (it ends up being cheaper to check your bag) and to select your seat when checking in."

Cons: "First of all, they charged me to check into my flight. My $131 ticket turned into $183 and I hadn't even checked in for the way back. Not only did I have to pay for a seat at check in, but I had to pay $40 to brin a carry on!!!! So what the heck did my ticket pay for?!?! Once I choked down the extra $53, I went to the gate and the flight was cancelled. The gate attendant offered a refund or to put me on a flight the next day. He wouldn't look at other airlines for me. The only nice thing they did was make the refund process easy on the phone, since I had to leave the terminal to find another ticket counter to help me. I will not be flying frontier. Ever."

Pros: "$45 to carry on a bag and put in the overhead bin. Ticket was cheap but after paying $45 EACH WAY I spent more than buying a ticket on another airline that lets you carry on a bag for free. They even charge for soda. Ripoff. Will never fly this airline again. Buyer Beware. There is no way to know about the hidden fees before buying your ticket unless you want to spend an hour or more combing through the multiple pages of fine print."

Pros: "The crew seemed unpatient...I was surprised that you have to pay for a carry on when you can take it for free with all the other airlines that i have used before...my cheap trip ended up been more expensive than expected. Will try to avoid using Frontier in the future."

Cons: "Frontier delayed our flight due to a mechanical problem for over twelve hours. Communication was so bad that we could not leave the airport or even the gate because it seemed like we could be leaving at any moment. It got delayed, and delayed and delayed until all the other flights to SFO had left and there was no other option but to pray we got home. Frontier handled the whole situation extremely poorly. I was exhausted and beside myself with frustration. I will never fly Frontier again."

Cons: "They charged for everything and thanks for giving me a middle seat when I had a toddler with me. What an terrible idea! I couldn't get a different seat and the crew and staff were less than helpful."

Cons: "$45 for a carry on! The announcements on the flight were entirely about what you could not do, should do. It was like we were in the military. No friendliness other then when we landed thanking us for flying Frontier. Gate Agents said in response to me running to the gate 30 mins prior to the original scheduled departure (because the monitors were saying final boarding) when the flight was delayed an hour...."well at least this way everyone will be here for when we do leave/ Really? That makes it a good idea to have passengers running to the a gate just to wait another hour. I was in row 4...seats in front of me reclined and our row did not...fortunately I was not affected by the person beside me in the middle seat was...poor design to have people in row 4 have already tight space reduced significantly due to person in front reclining the seat."

Cons: "While booking I was unaware frontier airlines charged for carry on luggage and didn't participate in TSA pre check. In addition to paying $45 more for the ticket than advertised and having to use normal security, the plane was so cramped the guy behind me hit me in the head. Finally there was a persistent foul smell in the plane. It was a rough 4hrs 30 min. I would recommend spending more and flying southwest or United."

Cons: "The price of the trip did not include a seat, nor baggage, this was unclear and I felt misled. The seating is extremely uncomfortable. Checking in online was terrible, the website was hard to navigate, the prices were inconsistent (I was checking on my phone and computer at the same time and getting different rates for seats). I felt the communication was poor. I did not feel safe. I will not choose this Airline again."

Cons: "They didn't let us board despite us checking in before doors closed. They sent us away to find another flight vs helping us find one. Poor customer service. Then they made us feel guilty looking for us at the security check for holding up the plane, when they sent us away in the first place!! Miscommunication among their crew. We had already bought another fare since try refused to let us board. We got there 30 minutes before departure and they didn't let us board! Even if they saw we had 3 kids with us!! Will never fly with them again anyway, they charge you for everything!"

Pros: "I guess the crew was polite. They seemed like hard working people who were there to do their job."
Cons: "The tray table was too small for a standard-sized laptop (around 4-5 inches long), there's no complimentary food/beverage whatsoever, you pay extra for bags, extra to choose a seat (which resulted in me sitting in the middle seat in the very last row). It's just a cheaper, lazier experience than even spirit airlines, and that's saying something."

Cons: "I understand that due to the thanksgiving WE. the flight was full. No complaints. The thing I disliked the most was that for everything you had to pay EXTRA. ,luggage , drink, snack and seat. May be you should consider standing room too...?..How do you expect that we get there without sitting down . ????? I do not agree that we MAY HAVE to pay for extra's BUT FOR A BASIC SEAT ???????AREN'T YOU GOING A LITTLE FAR. YOUR RULES REQUIRE THAT WE SIT DURING THE FLIGHT ,BUT THAT WE HAVE TO PAY FOR IT . ??????YOU ask for my dislikes , well, here you have them . Frontier has too many extra costs on top of an already expensive ticket."
