Cons: "“Free” WiFi was really $10, unless you have TMobile"
Pros: "The crew and the service"
Cons: "The seat I have had 13C for the last 3 flights to and from Miami on this plane has the controller broken where it does not stay in place and pops out. This time a soda was spilt on the seat, and the steward had to change the seat out for a clean and dry one.this plane has no entertainment displays other than the general cabin ones and this one is out of focus and the colors are blurred."
Pros: "Everything that happened before the FIRST time we boarded the flight and when we finally landed in LA. The movie selection was pretty good since I couldn’t sleep on the flight and it calmed me down. The flight that was originally 7 hours turned into 5"
Cons: "What Irritated me the most about this whole experience was that they waited until everyone had boarded and seated to find a maintenance problem. Credit to them for finding it before takeoff but it should’ve been caught before the plane even left the hangar or when the plane last landed. They said this would be a 15-20 min fix. This was an 8pm flight. 800 became 830, then 9. By 9:00, same problem and I start to wonder if we should switch planes. By 10, they finally tell us that we have to deplane and go to Gate 37 which is on the other side of the terminal. On the way out the flight attendant tells us that we have to hurry up to the other gate because we have to be there by 10:25 to board. I almost wanted to punch him. So we’re there. 10:25 comes and I see the screen turn to 10:40. Around 11, the announcement comes that they’re transferring the food from the other plane to our new plane which further delayed everything. As some kind of compensation, theyleft buckets of snacks and drinks for us prior to boarding as we finally boarded. Finally took off at 12:30. I was so irritated I couldn’t rest on the flight."
Cons: "The crew was very disappointing!!!!!!"
Cons: "Asked for ginger ale, was not given one"
Pros: "First class seating comfort and service. Even my flight in the main cabin was relatively comfortable, but I'm a smaller stature person so... On time promise kept every flight."
Pros: "What to like with AA?"
Cons: "Delayed by 2:38 hours at Chicago due to aircaft repair. Total layover 8:38 hours."
Pros: "The crew made the best out fo the terrible situation."
Cons: "Right after we boarded the plane our flight was delayed because of thunder. Instead of keeping us from boarding until our flight was clear to go. We stayed on the airplane at the gate for over 3 hours. In those 3 hours we were served pretzels and one cup of water. When the legal time limit had been reached and they were about make us exit the plane they decided we could take off."
Pros: "Great flight"
Cons: "everyone was friendly"
Cons: "Flight was 2 hours late due to weather!"
Cons: "Flight was cancelled with no compensation"
Cons: "We boarded a bit late. No big deal. Once on, however, they made us deboard because they forgot to do a security check. Oops. Flight attendants made the experience much better -- funny, enthusiastic, hard-working."
Pros: "The movie/tv system did not work despite a lot of time trying. Very disappointing when taking a long flight with a 10 year old."
Pros: "Crew was friendly and helpful. Boarding process was pretty quick."
Cons: "The plane had one of those aggravating screens on the back of every seat. I turned it off AT LEAST EIGHT TIMES and it kept coming back on, first to try to sell me on a credit card offer, then to show me previews of movies I wasn't going to watch on a 5 AM FLIGHT that was lasting 75 MINUTES. I finally tore a page out of the AA magazine and wedged it against the screen so I could actually sleep without it constantly blinking on and disturbing me. Next time, I'm going to smash the screen. If I want it off, leave it off."
Pros: "The seats were comfortable and the entertainment console was awesome!"
Cons: "Nothing"
Pros: "Jams you up with connections in Charlotte."
Cons: "Always running to make connections."
Pros: "I took American's first direct flight between Philadelphia and San Antonio. It was a nice plane, good service, and amenities for a cost. Love that the plane had plugs!"
Pros: "But, the customer service was good."
Cons: "The flight was cancelled."
Pros: "I like the ability to stream movies and TV to my device. The seating was also comfortable the head rests are a lifesaver."
Cons: "The crew met their requirements. I dont think you’ll survive they dont go beyond."
Cons: "The food is very tasty, but AA has not changed the menu in at least one year."
Cons: "Taking a bus to the Tom Bradley terminal"
Pros: "Staff courtesy."
Cons: "When I started this leg of my trip, I was completely exhausted having been in sitting position for almost 24 hours straight. Airline made no concessions for travelers knowing that some were just doing a simple trip and those others whose journey was very long. Narrow seats added to stress and discomfort. Airline policy seemed to be "Give me the money and I will deliver you safely. Period" Humanity seems to be last on airline list. Traveling is seriously grueling and unpleasant for all those not in First Class."
Pros: "Excellent service. Loved the tv screens with the remote. Exclennt flignt"
Cons: "First plane's engine caught on fire."
Pros: "On time arrival"
Pros: "Choice of entertainment was excellent , ice cream excellent"
Cons: "Food options poor except for ice cream too many extra fees"
Pros: "Comfy/roomy seats, friendly staff, female pilot!!"
Cons: "It was freezing and blankets were not available. It is typically cold on flights but this felt like sitting in a freezer. That is the o not reason I gave 4 stars and a 3 star for comfort"
Pros: "short"
Cons: "second security check at gate where they wouldn't allow me to bring water even though I was sick and bought it after 1st security also threw away my lotion that had gotten through first security"
Cons: "The tsa in chicago was very unorganized. The tsa workers were extremely rude."
Pros: "This was great!"
Cons: "Every leg of my journey I was charged for two pieces of luggage. I thought this was ridiculous and unfair."
Cons: "Carry on luggage does not fit for the whole plane. We had to check and wait for it to be unloaded in the jetway."
Pros: "Flight was on time. Easy boarding. Smooth flight."
Cons: "In flight entertainment was below expectations"
Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "Rude flight attendants, filthy plane"
Cons: "The selection of movies and tv shows was very poor. The plane was packed and the seats uncomfortable. The flight was delayed so we missed our connection and none of the staff could tell us where to go for more information. The worst international flight I've ever experienced."
Pros: "My two Grandchildren and Daughter and Son in Law were bumped from first class due to change in equipment. There was no refund or other compensation offered at the gate. Agent said to contact AA customer service."
Pros: "I honestly can't think of anything that I liked. Oh wait! You have diet Dr Pepper which I think is fantastic."
Cons: "The plane was kind of old and run down. Everyone, the passengers included which I realize you have no control over, just seemed to be in an awful mood and very unhelpful. Same, and about the gate attendants, in that we attempted to get seats together and he didn't care at all what was going on. I haven't flown American for a very long time, and I don't think I want to again for a very long time."
Pros: "Trouble free and on time. Got in early to the CLT connection and AA put me on an earlier flight to BOS on standby. Very smooth trip. Good job AA."
