They scheduled us a new flight with Vianca and Iberia: Bogotá-Madrid + Madrid-Brussels. My partner and I could not sit together on any of these flights! 1 of 10 hours and of 2 hours! I would NOT recommend AA to anyone! This was full responsability of AA!"

Flights delayed, poor protocols to accommodate passengers in other flights.AA does not take responsibility of reimburse or compensate the passenger for cancellation of flights for technical problems of their aircraft even thought the flight is operate by AA. They ended up finding another plane an hour and a half later and our gate was changed four times during our wait."

Then we were told at 12:30am that it was cancelled. We had to go back through customs, pick up our luggage and find an agent who gave us a voucher for a hotel room. Never made it to the hotel until 1:30am, had to get up at 5:30am, go back to the airport, check our baggage, go through security and customs which the lines were extremely long and get on a 9:30am flight. Horrible!!!!!"
Cons: "This was probably the worst handled flight I have been on; there was first a slight delay, then a longer delay, then a much longer delay, all of which one could find out only after checking online; there were no announcements about the delay until after the scheduled time of departure; then there was another announcement that there was a mechanical problem and we'll be apprised of the situation at 7pm (the flight was scheduled at 6:25). The person at the counter disappeared. At 7:30, the gate changed to a different flight altogether--still no announcement, still no person at the gate. When a different person finally appeared and I asked her what happened to the Pittsburgh flight, she said, it's here, it'll be departing at this precise gate shortly. At that exact time, the PA system had an announcement that the flight to Pittsburgh is now scheduled at gate 86 at 7.01 (yes, 7:01, even though it was already after 7:30). When we went to gate 86, there, of course, was another flight there. After waiting some more, the woman at the first counter now appeared at gate 86 and said the flight was to be at gate 88. Until the very end when we boarded, gate 88 continued to say the flight was to Columbus. Absolutely abysmal customer service. (Even the boarding was handled badly, but at that time we didn't even care.) I am never recommending Air Canada."

I was informed upon arriving at the desk at the gate that that meant Air Canada has also decided to participate in the ridiculous practice of overbooking their flights and that even though I purchased my ticket roughly 8 weeks prior, there was a chance I might miss my flight to my friend's WEDDING. The lady who was working the desk was as unhelpful and dismissive as you could possibly imagine, refusing to look at me and giving me attitude for merely waiting in the area to see if anyone had missed the flight so I could get on. It was surreal; the only way I could describe her incomprehensible behavior would be to say it was as if her boss were right in front of her and she was trying her damnedest to get fired. It was one of those situations where you could tell this miserable, miserable person was enjoying the power trip she was on and doing everything in her power to make me feel helpless and angry. I made my flight, miraculously, but it was the worst customer service experience I have ever had in my life, airport or not."

Only flight landing in Pittsburgh late Tuesday night and we were still forced to walk him from the very end of the concourse . Once we got to the landside terminal we had to walk past all the unused baggage claim area to the very end carousel. Pittsburgh airport management should be ashamed of themselves . No wonder there tax finance Taj Mahal is a ghost town !"

Cons: "Over all, the flight back from Brussels through Montreal and Toronto was a huge pain.. Having connecting flights means nothing regarding security in Canada. We went through security THREE times. My duty free bag of Belgian beer was ripped open two separate times. It was a huge pain. The food also wasn't very good.. For paying almost $1,000 for my plane tickets, I am dissatisfied. I will be looking for a different airline next time. On the way TO France from Toronto, Air canada "over booked" the flight and even though we had paid $100 each to upgrade our two tickets we still weren't able to sit next to each other. Being a very nervous flyer and having someone say, "oh sorry, we overbooked the flight, too bad" is NOT good customer service. Get it together Canada. Not everyone in the world can shrug it off like you do. Never again do I want to fly with them."

It took precious time to load passengers 1 group at a time while bags were checked. Once airborne I saw I only had 10 minutes or less to make my connection in Newark, which I inevitably missed. Poorly scheduled. Many passengers missed connections. It would have been much quicker and easier to advise passengers to check bags at the gate BEFORE the plane arrived knowing it was overbooked. I'm very disappointed in how the entire boarding was handled given the time constraints."

Cons: "we were not able to check in at the kiosk, it was saying that we need further assistance but wasn't giving any reason, nobody could help us with it. we were directed to different stands 3 times were people would just tell us they don't know what to do. the lines everywhere were extremely long with only 1 person working, the lady came up to the line at some point and stating assisting people in line starting from the back end of the line. That was very frustrating. she finally got to us, asked us to come up to the kiosk with her, wasn't been able to help us and then put us back in the end of the line! The lady who was able to help us in the end just said "it was just disconnected." I have no idea what it means but considering that on our way in we had to be on "standby" because the flight was overbooked. the total impressing from United is very poor."

Gate agent was not overwhelmingly helpful or understanding to people's frustrations during the delay and didn't go out of her way to try to help. Customer Service was helpful and able to rebook and provide overnight hotel accommodations, but it was a very slow process that clearly frustrated some customers even more. Clearly not anyone's fault, but still frustrating and not a great flying experience."
Pros: "Some movies to choose from, plenty of good action and drama choices."
Cons: "We were diverted from Pittsburgh because of fog. Other flights landed shortly thereafter from other airlines which was frustrating, but a short delay did not ruin the day. We landed instead at Dulles. After sitting and waiting for hours we were finally all put back on the plane. Then we taxied out before the pilot told us they were over their hours or something along those lines and couldn't submit the paperwork necessary to take off. We went back to the gate and were told to wait some more in case there were more pilots. No more pilots came. No more flights were available. Instead we all hovered either around the gate desk or the customer service desk where we were told we couldn't be helped. We were instead forced to pile onto buses nearly 5 hours after we had landed at the wrong airport. We then spent another 6 hours on the road driving to Pittsburgh on a bus that was crowded and hot because the air conditioning kept failing. Because of some fog and a lot of incompetence, I arrived in Pittsburgh over 12 hours after I was supposed to. My trip in total lasted 20 hours from my flight in Seattle taking off. I missed an important event for the wedding that weekend, which was upsetting given the distance I had to travel and the amount of extra time I had scheduled in for myself, but the way we were treated was worse. There was no positive communication. Nobody knew anything. We were clearly an inconvenience that nobody knew what to do with so they just kept trying to push us off to the next person. It was infuriating and unacceptable I will never fly United again if I can possibly help it."

Cons: "They home of the bare fare is just that, bare. It gets you to the door of the airplane. Just you, no bags or carry on, no seat, no food. Also bag weight limit is 40 lbs compared to 50 in other Airlines. When you add up the price difference is minimal unless you are willing to travel with only the clothes you are wearing. Flight delay was the cherry on the cake. First time and last time for me."

If the pilot wasn't late from his previous flight many would have missed the flight to Dallas."

Cons: "We planned our vacation to Colombia with my wife. When we got there the plane was delayed and we were booked 3 days later this costing us 3 days of our vacations and all they had to say there's nothing we can do or you can have your money back, I bought my tickets 4 months in advance so they were cheaper getting my money back was not a solution; we then missed our connection flight because the airline took their long time to take off. In our way back to the states the planes were delayed more than 1 hour this causing us to lose our connections flight again. After a line of 3 hours we were booked for the next day (24hrs later) and the Spirit staff expected us to stay at the airport during this time, if I had to show them I had my baby boy with me and then they gave us a hotel room (many people did not get a hotel room)."
Pros: "Chaos pure. If your flight gets delayed, they will probably not be able to offer you a reasonable alternative because they don't have partner airlines. In my case, they offered me a flight 24 hours later. So, I had to pay another airliner to be able to continue my trip."

We then had to take a flight to Dallas and had an 8-hour layover there before making it to Denver on Tuesday night, missing another FULL day of work. I will NEVER fly Spirit airlines ever again."

They don't pay for hotel, and book me to another flight over 24 hrs after This lost 2 days of work"
