The check-in process in Seattle was chaotic, disorganized. Many kiosks were out of paper, but paper was needed for a baggage tag, and we weren't allowed to get into line until we had one. However, the kiosk doesn't just tell you it's out of paper, it just says that function isn't available. However, the flight itself was right on time, just like our flight from Pittsburgh out to Seattle, which we deeply appreciated.

Once I was on the plane, I started kicking myself in the you know what because I knew immediately I was scammed. I had purchased a 1st Class ticket for $400+, only to find that my comfort would be the equivalent of that if I purchased a ticket in economy. My long legs would still be cramped. For the past few years, I have been purchasing 1st class for it's spaciousness. On this flight, on the RCJ700, I did not fly comfortably. The space was very tight, and I was able to stretch my legs as if I sat in economy. This was by far, my most uncomfortable flight ever. SMH; A WASTE OF MY HARD EARNED MONEY!!!!!"

We got an alert stating that the flight was going to be delayed but we were already almost to the airport when I received the first message on my smartphone. We received three additional alerts making our total wait time at the airport 5½ hours before we could approach the gate and board the aircraft. Seating in immediate gate area was not comfortable. Boarding was chaotic at best with very little control and guidance provided by Delta staff. The audio over the PA system was difficult to decipher much of the time. The only other available boarding status information was presented on the screens stationed near the gate and indicated PREMIUM the entire time during our boarding process and was never updated. We literally had to scramble through the crowd to get to the gate desk and get our boarding passes validated so we could board our flight with our group of passengers. Our seating on board the aircraft was thankfully good which is why I rated Comfort as Okay. We were saddled with one more delay after the flight left the gate and taxied briefly down the runway and then sat there for almost an hour. My suggestions to improve customer satisfaction based on my experience would include the following 1. Provide extended alerts for passengers travelling especially if the anticipated delay is known to the airline more than 2 hours before scheduled flight time. 2. Improve seating in the waiting areas near all Delta gates. 3. Re-orient all staff in proper boarding process and utilizing all available resources properly to provide clear and intelligible (not speeding) overhead audio messaging and current boarding status prompts on displays. 4. Maintain or replace audio equipment if necessary to help improve quality of audio messaging in all boarding areas."

I didn't have any problems with the flight, and it was nice to be notified in advanced about the upcoming turbulence."

They are understaffed, and they don't have anyone in the secured area to even ask questions too, let along check in passengers that are transferring from other airlines. Also, there wasn't anything showing the passengers that the flight was delayed until 10 minutes before the flight was supposed to leave. I knew it was late, only after the agent from a different airline did many searches into my connecting flight, and I also asked my check-in agent at Sun Country, I had to ask! That information was not given willingly."
Cons: "While the cart was parked next to me the flight attendant dropped a can of soda which splattered on my jacket, shirt, pants, feet and shoes - needless to say, I wasn't happy to be wearing soda for the next 10 hours. While she did apologize, their just wasn't any heart, concern or follow-up on it. No steps to give me water or napkins to clean myself up. Very disappointing."
Cons: "Both flights to and from MSP were 2 hours late taking off. To make matters worse, we boarded on time and had to sit in the plane on the tarmac for two hours. There were no services (drinks, snacks etc.) provided during these two hours while we sat on the tarmac. The explanation on my second flight was that they were waiting for paper work and the bags to be loaded. It definitely doesn't take two hours to load bags and finish paperwork! I will not be flying Sun Country again."

I could BUY a seat however! No!!! I already paid for a seat with my ticket!!! I think what your company is doing is dishonest and greedy. There are other airlines that do not have this dishonest practice... And I will be looking at them in the future."

Cons: "When I asked he pilot whether we flew along just south of the Missouri RIver, he said, we crossed it. Well of course we crossed it, but that would have been when it turned south in North Dakota. I would like the flight path to be made available to the passengers. It is very frustrating to me to not have any clear understanding of what the landscape features are that I am seeing out the window, and where I am in relation to the earth's suface."

No one from Sun Country was at the terminal at all (nobody at ticketing or any bag service). I called service in MPLS and they emailed someone at SeaTac to contact me. I was able to locate it myself on one of the 16 carousals, but didn't receive a call for another 90 minutes."

Cons: "On my first flight from SLC to ORD I asked 3 different American Airlines employees if I needed to pay for my carryon before I got on the plane. They all said no. I got on the plane, put my carryon under the seat in front of me and everything was great. I landed in Chicago, got to my gate, went to board and this very rude employee stopped me after I scanned my ticket and told me I couldn’t board with my bag. The EXACT bag I had boarded with in SLC. After harshly grabbing my bag and putting it in the carryon basket to check for size, she wouldn’t let me pass by her into the boarding bridge and told me I was going to have to pay. I tried explaining that I had asked I’m SLC if I needed to check it and they had all said no and that it fit under my seat. She said, “I don’t care what they said in SL, this is what I’m saying here.” And directed me to the front desk where I had to pay $50!! $50 for a carryon backpack that fit under my seat comfortably 20 minutes before!! Without saying a word (cause I didn’t want to yell at the poor girl behind the desk) I paid the $50 and proceeded to enter the bridge but before I passed through, the rude woman said, “have a nice flight ma’am” and scoffed!! An audible scoff. So I’m short, I hate American Airlines and I will do my BEST to not have to fly with them in the future."

While I understand there are some delays sometimes, this was the ONLY flight to Greensboro out of DCA, and the times kept changing throughout the day, even though the gate agents knew that the issue was that the crew was delayed. There should be backup crew available and when there are delays, the passengers should be kept informed. There should be other flight options available when this happens. I never received an apology from anyone I encountered throughout the process, and some personnel were rude even though I was polite."

In their boarding area there were minimal phone chargers. The plane was small and no leg room and a rigid uncomfortable seat. Also the flight was at night and they kept the cabin lights on. That was super frustrating to an exhausted traveler who was trying to sleep."
