Pros: "The crew was nice"
Cons: "When we got to get our tks they had us on stand by even when we paid for our flight a month in advance"
Pros: "The crew was really nice."
Cons: "There were some delays, my luggage didn't arrive to final destination I might receive it only tomorrow and also a lot of gates change."
Pros: "On time, clean plane, good service."
Cons: "Lack of seating at departure gate, costumer agent at gate was rude about standing early for boarding (see first comment). Food was not my style my wife enjoyed it."
Pros: "Upgraded to business class for a reasonable fee."
Pros: "Very clean cabin, crew efficient and friendly"
Cons: "The sweet pastry is horrible, please bling back the cheese sandwich/ or similar."
Cons: "Flight was delayed"
Pros: "Good service for the price"
Cons: "More legroom"
Pros: "Flight arrived early."
Cons: "Last two transatlantic flights have been hot. What happened to a nice cool flight and using the blanket if you are cold?"
Pros: "smooth as silk flight, beautiful clean comfy airplane. Roomy seats. great entertainment system. Excellent friendly staff. Pretty darn good food. Excellent value."
Cons: "having to come back from vacation!!"
Cons: "I still think it makes more sense to board the seats in the back of the plane before those further forward. It is difficult to get past the people who stand in the aisle or take forever to try to put their bag in the overhead bin."
Pros: "We had a 2 hours delay but the captain was professional and the next flight was rebooked"
Cons: "We didn’t liked the food - awful chicken teriyaki, cold muffin for breakfast and the crew- so unprofessional and with attitude."
Cons: "The first flight for this trio was cancelled .. stop with automated cron jobs"
Pros: "Crew"
Cons: "N/A"
Pros: "on time Family Check in that the flight was not booked out"
Cons: "4/4 flights with involuntary stop-overs were delayed, causing 4 panics and 2 missed flights. Given their proclivity for busing passengers to distant planes in Herman efforts, a 50-minute allowance for changing planes, when added to the frequent Kate departures, is just not sufficient. They should acknowledge it and sell only flights that allow for 80-90 minutes in the airports that are so woefully managed (eg, Frankfurt and Munich). It’s back to BA for me!"
Pros: "I love Lufthansa! Great service, comfortable, warm towels before meals served with real silverware. Amazing!"
Cons: "Service! Comfort!!"
Pros: "Nice light snack and refreshments offered. Quick boarding and friendly staff."
Cons: "They were vague about the security procedures. Minimal entertainment."
Pros: "Clean. Friendly staff"
Pros: "Overall good quality service as usual."
Cons: "The flight was 1 1/2 hours delayed, but that was due to weather in Europe..."
Cons: "LATE!! This is rediculous for a flight company not to be able to board on time so I miss my connection and get stuck for 6 hours"
Pros: "Boarding was done very quickly. Unlike the norm nowadays, people weren't cramming every single inch of space in the overhead. In addition, the flight wasn't full so my travel companion got to enjoy a full row to himself while I enjoyed an empty seat next to me to stretch out. The food was very good. The staff came by quite a few times to offer orange juice or water. The entertainment syren was excellent. I watched four full movies on the trip and have in mind at least a couple more for the return leg."
Cons: "Not a thing."
Pros: "It was exciting to fly on a gigantic plane as the Jumbo"
Cons: "Not to many options of food. Dinner wasn't dinner. It was a snack."
Cons: "Very weird flight attendant. Seemed unexperienced and stressed out. Bad vibe from the crew in general."
Cons: "Sold me upgraded bulkhead seat and emergency row on way back. But given regular seats for both flights. Plane change on one flight and they upgraded family to exit row for other. No acommodation from flight attendants. They did offer empty "upgraded" premium economy seats for extra $300 on top of what I already paid. seats so narrow & thin (to squeeze more seats In), my hips hurt for final 3 hours. Miserable experience. Lufthansa fails in customer service."
Pros: "Excellent"
Cons: "No complaints"
Pros: "Seat comfort, service excellence"
Cons: "Quite outdated movies on entertainment system"
Pros: "SEAT COMFORT CREW ALL AROUND BOARDING SMOOTH / ON TIME / SOLID ALL AROUND GREAT AIRLINE"
Cons: "Entertainment center did not work. I paid for wifi and did not work and need my money back. The headphone jack for the tv did not work."
Cons: "I was denied boarding on the Dublin to Munich leg of my connecting flight from Newark to Munich. My ticket was booked through Lufthansa, but the transatlantic leg of my trip was operated by United. When checking in with United in Newark, I received two boarding passes, one for each leg of the trip. I arrived on time in Dublin for my flight to Munich and tried to board the plane for Munich with the boarding pass I had printed in Newark. After scanning my ticket, the Lufthansa employees at the gate informed me that they had no record of me or my plane ticket in their system. I showed them the email confirmation for my ticket, but they still could not find any record of my ticket in their online system. The employees seemed more concerned with boarding all passengers as quickly as possible than assisting me. After being denied boarding, I had to go back through passport control to change my flight, and ended up getting to Munich nearly 6 hours behind schedule and missed an entire day of vacation. A Lufthansa employee told me that out of every partner in the STAR alliance, United is the ONLY airline they have had this problem with. I find this inexcusable, I will be AVOIDING ANY United/Lufthansa connecting flight from now on."
Cons: "Where to begin? During the booking process, there was no indication my travel partner and I would be flying Air Canada, and not Lufthansa. We were seated in the last row of the plane with painfully little legroom — even for two women of relatively small stature. The plane was not equipped with modern conveniences of operational wifi, music, or any other means of entertainment over the ten-hour flight. We were nearly an hour late to depart, but were unable to hear anything over the speakers regarding the cause for the delay, nor could we hear any of the flight attendants' safety instructions. What we could hear, however, was the surprisingly loud and nearly constant DINNNGGGG of the passengers' call buttons as they summoned the flight attendants. Because the flight was an overnighter, we attempted to sleep, but it was nearly impossible to do so due to the noise. I had earplugs in and could still hear the chimes, which were positioned right above our seats and made for an unpleasant experience and cranky travelers. The food was subpar as expected, but it would've been nice to be surprised with something resembling a fresh piece of fruit or vegetable. The flight crew was polite and one of the attendants took pity on us and offered a complimentary shot of whiskey, which partially alleviated the discomfort of the experience. That man is a saint and we surely hope he is better taken care of by this airline than we were. Overall a miserable experience. Will definitely rethink flying both Lufthansa and Air Canada in the future."
Cons: "-flight delays-no information provided-no information on gate changes-"
Pros: "The boarding was fast and efficient, and the entertainment system was modern."
Cons: "The pilot didn't get us over the intercom even once. No communication at all from the cockpit. Staff was ok, but not very friendly. Seats were very close together in my row (30)… but other rows had seats with more legroom m."
Pros: "Crew was more understanding. Placed us to row 18...emergency exit."
Cons: "Checked online from row 21 to 6. Got a new ticket whilst boarding to 25: last row. Explanation...otherwise the plane was not able to go in the air...absolute bullshit. With my weight and of my fellow members better to let us in the front.. Row 6 was given to a miles & more client..."
Pros: "I would like to commend the crew on this flight for the way they handled a medical emergency during the flight. I thought that the brew reacted and handled this emergency in a calm, professional and dignified manner. Very little information was conveyed to the passengers aside from what was necessary. I thought that was very dignified and respectful of the circumstance. The flight was diverted from Munich to Vienna, the affected individual was evacuated and the flight was back in the air shortly thereafter. I would like to say Very Well Done to the crew and airline for the training they received and handled the situation."
Pros: "Everything was exceptional. The crew provided excellent service, the aircraft was modern. Boarding was painless. Food was the good, all things considered."
Cons: "Pay for Wi fi"
Cons: "I don't expect good food, but found both served meals to be inedible. Confusing security situation at airport - multiple passport controls and at the final point there was only one check in line for all departing US flights. Since most of these flights left within an hour of each other it was bad news. Once again another chance to stand in line for way too long."
Pros: "Crew was friendly and attentive, food was delicious and served on time"
Pros: "crew was very nice engaging. shopping at Munich airport was unexpectedly good."
Cons: "My seat didn't recline. I changed seats with my sister mid flight so I could sleep."
Pros: "The wifi entertainment option is a bad idea. It consumes device battery and there is no USB plug."
Pros: "They had lots of movies and TV options to choose from."
Cons: "The vegetarian option was very poor. Frankly a pizza snack in place of supper is not what I expect on a cross-Atlantic flight."
Pros: "Nice, comfortable , spacious seats in premium economy. Nice attendants."
Cons: "temperature in the Premium Economy sections was freezing. Me and the person next to me wore 3 blankets each and were still shivering from the cold. The windows had ice on them (on the outside of course). Several people got up and wore their jackets and sweaters in addition to the blankets. In the Economy section the temperature was just fine (my husband sat there) and we had to alternate seats so that I don't freeze. He paid extra for me to have a more comfortable arrangement, but it ended up being way too cold. That did not happen on the way to Europe..."
Pros: "Everything"
