Scores according to KAYAK customer reviews
Cons: "Flight and crew scheduled on time, better service and compensation for wasted time."

Cons: "I’m 6’3. My legs don’t fit in the provided space and I’m too tall for the head rest."
Pros: "Crew was friendly and nice."
Pros: "Seat width"
Cons: "More leg room, Southwest actually has better leg room"
Pros: "My legs were sandwiched behind the seat in front of me. I hate that kind of seat spacing."
Cons: "Absolutely horrible plane. This 737-700 sucks. I’m in premium economy and it’s horrible. Very narrow seats. Very tight. Horrible. At airport American Airlines jfk ground crew were non existent when the aircraft pulled into the gate."
Pros: "Big jet not typical going into Knoxville."
Cons: "Flight was late. Boarding had every zone called essentially at once so we could all stand."
Pros: "The flight attendant"
Cons: "Service was poor."
Pros: "Great customer service, good food, great in flight entertainment"
Cons: "Rerouting, connection delays and lost baggage."
Pros: "On time boarding taking off and landing in Grand Rapids. Crew was very nice and let me keep my whole can of soda."
Pros: "On time. Friendly and attentive staff."
Pros: "My favorite part was after we all got off, the man helping everyone get their luggage said take one down and pass it down if it’s not yours. It was genius!"
Pros: "Efforts to get us to Philadelphia"
Cons: "Got to Philly - no one there - rushed 2 concourses and plane still there with daughter on-board. They gave away our seats, told us we would not get on, would not get our baggage and would not get put up in a hotel. Because of the NBA draft - had to travel 60 miles to New Jersey for a hotel. Lost a day, lost 2 tours, endured additional hotel costs...and the attendant made it clear she was on overtime and we just needed to move on. American Airlines is too big and consolidation of airlines has not been good for the public."
Pros: "On time and quick."
Pros: "The agents kept us posted"
Cons: "The delay but it happens"
Pros: "The airplane is new"
Cons: "The crew was terrible, so rude, really I don’t understand why there are like that. Is like asking a favor for everything . The seat are to short of space and uncorfortable"
Pros: "Beautiful new Boeing 777, comfortable seats. Smooth flight. Skillful landing. No delays."
Cons: "Nothing to eat - one cookie!"
Pros: "On-time departure and arrival; room to stow carry-on's; able to move to vacant row to give both the other guy in my row and me some extra leg room."
Cons: "If the exit row seats are completely vacant, ask the flight attendant EARLY in the boarding process if you can move into them. I asked a good 10 min. prior to departure from the gate and was told I couldn't do it then. The FA let me move after takeoff and the obligatory "You're in exit row seating ..." briefing."
Pros: "everything was smooth"
Cons: "Nothing bad about the trip"
Pros: "Paid extra for more legroom"
Cons: "No Free WiFi"
Pros: "The dinner was decent"
Cons: "There was NO in-seat entertainment or place to charge mobile devices. Very uncomfortable seats. This plane was very old. 9.5 hr flight was pretty unpleasant."
Pros: "Timely and comfortable flight"
Cons: "No individual entertainment. Sound on left side of plane did not work. Ran out of wine while pouring at dinner for an international flight. Bith wife and I got sick after eating on the plane. American Airlines Plane."
Pros: "What I absolutely adored is that I left my phone in Philly, and the gate agents put it on the next flight up to Boston. I picked it up from American Luggage Services in Boston the next day. Priceless!"
Pros: "Nothing at all"
Cons: "Never should have been on this later flight which also took off late. And I don't even know where my luggage will end up. I should get an apology and cash for my troubles."
Pros: "Flight was on time"
Cons: "Since we have an AAdvantage CitiCard and are AAdvantage members, it is disconcerting to have to claim your privilege of 1 free bag and priority boarding each time. This is embarrassing at the gate especially since it looks like we are cutting the line. What good is this "privilege" if you have to assert it every time or hold a credit card in hand with your carryon and boarding pass. This should be included in our ticketing at the time of purchase and upgraded on our boarding pass if we use the damn card for the purchase. It is now not a "privilege" but an inconvenience."
Cons: "I am missing two items that I had in my checked bag and my clothes and belongings were all messy as if it had been gone through. I am very upset that these items were likely taken by whoever went through my bag."
Cons: "The aircraft was extremely too hot"
Pros: "Flight was direct and on time."
Cons: "Waited 45 minutes at baggage claim before the carousel even began to move. Not much legroom or personal space."
Cons: "ATC delay on take off and then a 10 min wait for a gate a DCA. Just disappointing in adding delays."
Pros: "As a fat guy, I really like these newly built AA airplanes with huge seats. Two great flight attendants, too (a rare thing this day and age). Better than average coffee for an airline."
Cons: "Terrible turbulence. I know it's not AA's fault, but still, despite how nice the plane and staff were, I was sweating bullets for two hours!"
Pros: "Business class comfort was a huge difference! The seat, space entertainment was great."
Cons: "Food not great. Priority line not separate for boarding. If you don't board right away when first called, you get stuck behind everyone else boarding. Those that have higher boarding numbers stand around blocking the line and no announcement ever made to remain away from line."
Cons: "We were downgraded from Main Cabin Extra rows 7 and 8 to row 30. We were told that we will get refund automatically. However, we received nothing. Getting a refund back is now becomes a very complicated process with zero transparency. Main Cabin Extra is kind of a scam. We bought it specifically for an extra leg room. However, on the flight from PHX to BOS, all seats in the economy class have the same leg room. The agent explicitly told us that on this plane all seats are the same. So, they offer product they do not have and collect money. Sounds like a scam to me."
Pros: "No much"
Cons: "Aircraft is small, boarding is a mad dash to the plane"
Cons: "Could not understand the boarding instructions-PA system and speaker not good"
Cons: "Plane was falling apart. Food served frozen cold. Entertainment was commercials then nothing for hours. Crew was a mess and rude. Flight from hell."
Cons: "The captain announced that the flight crew exceeded 9 work hour per day due to the takeoff delay so the passengers were forced to sit and wait in a stuffy stationary aircraft for 2 hours prior to takeoff until a different crew could arrive to service the flight."
Pros: "The only thing to like was arriving on time."
Cons: "Paid extra for priority boarding, that was a mistake. We got boarding group one but by the time all the families with kids, first class, and frequent flyers went ahead of us they called all remaining groups together. Forget about overhead space left over, we had to gate check carry on. Seats were very uncomfortable, no room under the seat because of a big metal box for power outlets. No leg room, sat shoulders and thighs touching with neighbors. No meal service, just drinks and pretzels, luckily we ate before departure. Never again!"
Pros: "Friendly staff"
Cons: "They lost my luggage and that was horrible but they delivered it to my hotel which was nice."
Cons: "No yves on the plane like delta. Flight delayed 5hrs"
Pros: "I liked how smooth flight went especially after all the bumpy rides I had been on"
Cons: "I didn't like that I wasn't able to sit with the person I purchased my ticket with"
Cons: "Brand new plane seats were great and tons of entertainment"
Pros: "Liked that they let me carry on my luggage and put it in the overhead instead of making me check it like they did on the flight from Myrtle Beach to Philadelphia."
Cons: "Would like the "whole" can of soda."
Pros: "My back is probably even more worst than what it is ,I had poor back support...u had to sit up the wholetime and no pillows.Wish you all had reclining seats and a Lil pillow or something.Everytime I travel I'm never comfortable sleeping,if the trip is far."
Cons: "The seats,no cushion ,no pillows."
Cons: "Airline gate attendent gave us the wrong information for the connecting flight and we nearly missed it"
