Pros: "I was impressed that the entire team seemed to care that we were being inconvenienced. It was a very nice touch that refreshments were being offered at the gate and that we were told when the next update would be. All updates were on time. In addition, our captain (Mark) came to the gate and spoke to all of us expressing his concern for what had happened to us. He also made a nice presentation on the plane and got us going right away. The free ear buds were also a great touch. Even though the situation was bad, you made a customer for life with the way your team responded to the situation. Well done!"

After being delayed (for no apparent reason) Then having to sit for 20+ minutes because of a “jet bridge that’s too cold” (aren’t these made for the out doors?) this JB flight was less than satisfactory."

To make this all worse, I had to suffer through all of this discomfort for over an hour for a 25 minute flight."

I brought this to the attention of Kayak/Aeromexico and the flight appeared to changed for our entire party of six. When we arrived to depart from Akron-Canton there were MAJOR issues with Delta acknowledging the change on their end. We waited at check-in for an hour and half before this was resolved. This also happened when we left Cancun and almost missed our flight. Our daughter also had to put on stand-by in Atlanta due to this fiasco. We spent another two hours working with Delta customer service trying to get her a seat on our flight back to Akron-Canton. Had we not been to Cancun airport extra early AND had our flight delayed in Atlanta we would have missed both flights. This was without a doubt the worse experience we have ever had!! It should have been caught and resolved before I ever had to get involved. I am very disappointed and unhappy with the service offered for the tickets we purchased. This was extremely stressful for my wife and kids and tarnished our vacation. This was totally and completely avoidable!!! You can and should do better to service your customers!!"

I was informed from Tripit that the flight was delayed, not by Delta. Reservation personnel took logical course of action to find new flight for connection that we could make because of delayed initial flight. I would recommend that they first see if there is an earlier initial flight that the customer could make, then look at finding later connecting flights. We found out about delay 8 hours prior, so we had plenty of time to get to the airport earlier. Total delay required me to take additional day off of work."

My miles are now lost as the entire round trip ticket was cancelled and I have no way to regain all those miles that I wasted. It was the first time Delta did not come through for me and I must say, it's left a very bitter taste in my mouth. I couldn't believe that there isn't some provision (there is if I had paid for my ticket) and have lost all those miles that I use to fly Delta. So much for customer service."

That agent said she couldn't give me a seat, but watch the monitor for my name for seat assignments, then come back. Why couldn't the first gate agent say that instead of giving me the runaround and wasting my time???"

They ended up in my row. One piece of my luggage showed it was available at the conveyor but couldn't be found. It delayed our long day and was frustrating to think it was missing. No distinction where Delta has it's gates in Mexico City."

"We stop loading X amount of minutes before take off" I can't remember the exact number but there was ten minutes to spare before said time when they stopped loading. Dealt with it. Not happy but at least my luggage wasn't lost. Will I fly with WestJet again? Probably. Will I expect some sort of hang up and/or inconvenience? Definitely."

Pros: "We missed our flight to Bogota because Immigration was so understaffed. They were warned by Aero Mexico the day prior but chose to do nothing. Now we are having to pay for a second hotel and second flight from BOGOTA to Barranquilla. There are a lot of very angry and disappointed travelers today. We have been offered nothing and received nothing. And we loose another day of Carnivale. I won't be flying through Mexico city anytime soon. Kerry Greenlees"

Cons: "The check In process took an hour for no reason. I can only assume the staff were new because everyone who went on strike recently got fired or quit. That or they were on permanent siesta because the line ups weren’t even long. They were just slow, lazy and lacked knowledge."

Cons: "Our only checked bag didn't come until 2 days later. We had 3 bottles of tequila in that bag and the 2 high end bottles were stolen. We will never fly AeroMéxico again, and to top it off the last flight was on Delta. It's a joke that they even partnered up with AeroMéxico. I'm not happy that Kayak would even suggest this airline. Even though we are fluent in Spanish it didn't matter because the employees didn't know what they were doing anyways."

Waited 20 min only to hear a bunch of lies about how they asked the flight attendant to look but she couldn’t find it - should have just walked back on plane to do it myself. Was told to “go online” and file a lost and found report. This is a small airport - TRI cities TN - absolutely zero customer focus by and American Airline employee - and I asked to sp all with a supervisor and manager with the hope I would get my phone back. Worst service and zero caring attitude I’ve dealt with - and I fly a lot. It will be Delta from here on out. I went on line and filed a complaint and lost and found report - am betting a large amount of money I hear nothing other than an automated reply."

Cons: "Flight from Ny to Detroit was delayed for 2 hrs. Coming back was worse after multiple delays, they cancelled the flight. they put me on a flight for next day with 2 connections which will reach ny almost 20 hrs later, no aplogises, no hotel room. After more calls put me in another United flight later that night which also finally got cancelled. I had to book a new flight with delta and paid $460 on the spot for that. Still awaiting my refund from American for the return leg which was cancelled and left a lady traveling alone stranded at Detroit airport in the night. Apology or compensation -- forget it, you will never get that! Only now if they can refund my cancelled flight..."
Pros: "Finally getting to my final destination and out of DFW."
Cons: "The flight was originally scheduled to take off at 8:20 pm, but due to several delays did not end up getting off the ground until after 11 pm. After being in the air for about 45 minutes we were informed that there were issues with the engine and that we would be turning around and heading back to Dallas. By this point it was after midnight, and although I was appreciative that safely is a priority, there was no communication as to what the next steps were. After landing we were finally told that we would have to deplane, and after we sat around the gate for awhile we were informed that the flight would be delayed until 5 am. Being 12:50 am at this point a hotel would have been nice, but we were informed that AA was "out of hotels" but that if we wanted we could have a $12 food voucher to use at the one restaurant that was open several terminals over. The AA employee assisting in handing out the food vouchers seemed extremely unapologetic about the situation which didn't help with the frustration everyone was feeling. I will not be booking with AA again, and will be passing along my negative experience to family and friends. It is worth spending the extra money on a ticket for an airline that is more reliable with better customer service."
