Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "The food! And 21 yo to drink let 18yo drinks"
Cons: "Late crew. Slow to depart added to delay. Arrival blocked by equipment in the gate, so we waited to get access to the terminal. 20 min after gate arrival, still no bags. Then one truck of luggage on the announced carousel and then...nothing. Secretly, the remaining bags were appearing on a differen"
Pros: "Foot rests are nice"
Cons: "Mediocre food Excellent staff"
Pros: "The flight was fine, despite the distance."
Pros: "The tv worked and the flight got in early."
Cons: "The crew was not very nice, the flight had duplicate seat bookings, attendants kept bumping my seat and waking me up, the crew was not strict on take off/landing policies, so the guy in front of me was basically in my lap when we landed."
Pros: "Everything"
Pros: "Delayed by 2 hours"
Pros: "Did was very good. Cattle call boarding."
Cons: "We left late because they were waiting for people from another flight that got canceled to transfer to our flight, and even with the delay, one of my bags got lost. I was the third person to check in for the flight, so I'm not sure how that happened."
Pros: "I felt spoiled with all the service and the ice cream was a special treat. I had never gotten ice cream on an oversea trip. Thanks."
Cons: "I wished that some of the children would have left the window blinds down so we could sleep."
Cons: "no electricity outlets"
Cons: "The plane was very old. No outlet to plug electronics. Small screens for video"
Pros: "Good food, entertainment options, communication from pilot"
Cons: "none of the flight attendants seemed to be friendly- literally all of them were neutral or slightly rude at best. Not impressed."
Pros: "This flight was a good value."
Cons: "My legs are short and the seat seemed a little higher than other plans. I couldn't rest my feet flat on the floor for 6 1/2 hours. This was very uncomfortable."
Pros: "Beyond one or two friendly crew members, not much."
Cons: "We booked our flights round trip on united.com, but when we arrived at the airport for our return flight from Budapest to D.C., we were told we were on standby and might not be given seats (despite paying full price for the fare months ago). Brussels Airlines, the codeshare partner, blamed United. United blamed Brussels airlines. We are the flight, but my wife and I were seated separately. When I noticed several seats empty after the plane had finished boarding and asked the head flight attendant if my wife and I might not together, she refused, saying they weren't going to give us a free upgrade. When we went to drop off our bags for the next leg of the flight, from Brussels to Dulles, the bag check counters we're severely understaffed and we waited almost an hour just to drop off two suitcases. This made us nearly miss our flight and required us to sprint through the airport and beg to cut the security line. After boarding, my entertainment screen stopped working, though they did manage to fix it a couple of hours into the flight. Needless to say, this was less then a stellar experience."
Cons: "food"
Pros: "Crew. Entertainment. Food. Leg room was a bit longer than usual."
Cons: "I was unable to pre-order a kosher meal through the web site. Customer service could barely write in legible English and in essence told me to take a hike. Flight was bumpy both ways for quite a while. What's the point of giving me a boarding pass in Tel Aviv if I need to go to the United transfer counter in Brussels and go through the process again, including a TSA (friendly) interrogation?"
Pros: "Friendly crew, decent food, good entertainment options to make the flight feel shorter."
Cons: "United Airlines portion of the flight from Brussels to IAD. My wife and I were seated in separate parts of the plane each in middle seats at the end of the boarding process when there was no longer any overhead room to store our belongings. Uncaring, unaccommodating crew, waiting area with not enough seats, and cramped seating on the plane with no possibility of sleep during an arduous seven hour flight."
Pros: "Excellent service and a safe flight."
Pros: "Crew were helpful. They got the plane boarded early for an early takeoff. It was easy getting from landing gate to my next takeoff gate."
Cons: "The boarding was a little quicker and more controlled."
Pros: "Smooth and seamless travel, great seats and punctual departure and arrival."
Pros: "food service"
Cons: "bagage allowance"
Cons: "Kayak dropped the ball with the last leg connection.. or somebody did..."
Cons: "Continuously moving departure time back."
Pros: "We were upgraded to business class. Everything was excellent! Seats were extremely comfortable. Flight attendants took great care of us!"
Cons: "Even though I have an account with United, and confirmed that I was a vegetarian both online, and on the flight heading to Europe, my meal wasn't entered. It worked out really well because I was sitting close to the front and they had pasta dishes available, but this is not the first time that United and its partners have "lost" or "mishandled" my vegetarian registration. The flight attendant even remarked that sadly, she hears this 'complaint' constantly. The food was good, but there's no reason that my meal request can't stay in the system."
Cons: "Delayed of 5 hours without much information. Huge line to passport control By United which i have never seen before."
Pros: "Professional, courteous flight crew. Uneventful flight. When flying at 37000 feet over an ocean, uneventful is a very good thing! :) Deboarding on arrival was quick and efficient."
Cons: "My headphone jack in the seat was broken but they offered to relocate me to a seat that worked. I stayed put and used the United app on my phone."
Cons: "Sit in the last row and wait for the food"
Pros: "lots of good movie choices"
Cons: "touch screens didn't always work easily"
Cons: "I chose Luthansa because I was traveling with a bike and they are usually good about not overcharging however after booking the flight, United took over the flight and they have very unfriendly bike policies (200 each way). Usually I will not fly United because of these policies, I think I am done flying any Star Alliance companies."
Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "This was a mess as the attendants didn't not have my transfer ticket It took them for ever till the last minute when was called by the Microphone"
Pros: "Too many delays to be able to take the flight."
Pros: "Even in economy plus, I felt like a first class passenger."
Pros: "The flight attendants were very friendly. The flight was smooth"
Pros: "the service and aircraft were excellent"
Cons: "space between seat"
Pros: "In flight entertainment was great with lots of variety (good for an 8 hour fight)."
Cons: "There were always lines for the toilets. Limited leg room. Food was meh."
Pros: "Boarding was organized and timely."
Cons: "One of the flight attendants was patronizing."
Pros: "For me, the food wasn't too bad. I had an Indian food meal on the way over, and on the way back a vegetarian one. They also handed out some good sandwiches and snacks, cheese pretsel sandwich, icecream. At least they didn't charge for the water, like on the first leg of the trip!"
Cons: "There was one crew person in particular who was really crabby. I get that they work hard, but..... For instance, I didn't hear what the choices were for dinner due to the overall noise of being on a plane. So I asked her to repeat and she yelled out the choices in an irritable manner. I had ordered a special meal, and she added, "I have no special meal for you." Really negative!"
Cons: "Wanted some snacks in between the meals."
Cons: "Delayed boarding at Munich airport"
Pros: "Flight wasn't that long. Experience was okay. Flight was full. Attendants did their job. Some were more polite and helpful than others."
Cons: "No request was made for the outbound flight which I want to comment about. At Dulles Airport, I checked in at the Brussels Airline counter, only to be told that since I was on a flight operated by United, then I had to go to the United Airlines counter to check in. At UA, I was handed a boarding pass which advised that my seat will be assigned at the gate. I saw on the monitor where the available seats were-1 window, the remainder middle row. I got the feeling that since I bought a ticket which cost less than what the other United Airlines customers paid for, then I was being relegated to seats that the other travelers didn't desire."
Pros: "On time"
Cons: "Ran out of food choices and plane was dirty , entertainment center locked up and could not use it"
Pros: "there was one flight attendant who was annoying slow when he spoke over the intercom and paused for long breaks while still breathing into the mic. Very awkward. Everyone else was great though."
Pros: "Helpful crew when I told them that my right leg was causing me severe pain. I asked them to order a wheel chair for me when the plane landed They did so right away."
Cons: "The DVD player at my seat did not work. I was the last one to leave the plane, with the help of some crew members; but no wheelchair was waiting for me. A staff called but was told that no such an order was received and no one was then available to bring me a wheel chair. Later someone in the Cleaning crew made a couple of calls and finally ,10 to 15 minutes later, a wheelchair arrived."
Pros: "Comfortable seating, great staff, food was pretty decent, they were very accommodating and had sufficient drinks and snacks through the flight. I would highly recommend Brussels Airlines."
Cons: "People were not told where to get their transfer boarding passes until last minute. Security check of "random" passengers was overboard. I wasn't one of the passengers who had to undergo the extra security at the gate, but felt bad for those who did. Completely unnecessary.."
