The attendant at gate 4e was so courteous and kept us constantly informed. Staff are always courteous, friendly and work very hard to help. Jet Blue is definitely my preference when flying."

She even gave some of us a tour of the galleys and taught us a few things about Mosaic customers as well as a few other operational things. I didn’t catch the other flights attendants names as they covered more of the back of the plane but they were both insanely hospitable and it was very clear that they loved their jobs as they were having fun. The women who checked us in also accommodated is with Even More Space seats after knowing we were crew members!"

Called Jet Blue the day before, and found change fee was more than cost of flight. Dealer said they'd cover, but I have no guarantee. Truck still not in. Can't book flight until in. Dealer not very communicative. The whole world is a mess. What can I expect?"

Pros: "Good legroom. Big delay so I did not get to sleep at hotel until 2 am. The flight was very bumpy. The delay was not posted in the airport monitors. Only found out when I got to gate. Flight attendants had blankets to sell on a cold plane that warmed up as the flight progresses."
Cons: "Checking in was difficult for me. My husband was able to check in through the cruise line. when we got to the airport the counter was not open. i checked in but did not get a seat assignment. When we got to the gate our flight to Boston was delayed until 3am from midnight. I tried getting a seat assignment but was told I had to wait until all the other flights were taken care of. I finally got my seat with my husband after 10p. I am a very nervous flyer so this was very nerve racking for me. But once I got my seat I calmed down. We always fly Jet Blue when we can. The flight itself was wonderful. And the counter folks were very patient with the customers dealing with delays."

Cons: "An electrical problem caused the plane to shut down. Rather than finding us new flights, we waited for many hours for the plane to be repaired. I was planning on making it to work by 9 this morning but the only folks who received alternate flights were the ones with connections :( in addition to this, the power shutting down on the plane was extremely unsettling. I have flown hundreds of times and have zero fear of flying. Today, I was terrified that the power would shut off mid-flight at any moment. I truly wish we'd been given another plane...i know that's tough. But something along those lines would have been better than stepping back on the one that shut down with all of us in it...after waiting for hours for it to be repaired. I do appreciate the $150 coupon though."
Pros: "I LOVED the comfort of the ample seating space and leg room, compared to American and free WiFi and movies with the individual monitors on the seat backs for every passenger. I flew Jet Blue on my return flight from LA to Boston to attend our son’s USC graduation. The flight from Boston to LA was on an American Airlines flight. The seats were super narrow with very cramped leg room. To add insult to discomfort , I learned just after take off on the American flight to LA that our dogs got loose at home and the person caring for them was frantic. I had to purchase in flight WIFI ($16/ hour $18 for the entire flight) to attend to the Lost dog issue (hugely stressful) only to learn after the flight that $300 worth of fraudulent charges occurred during the flight that my bank’s fraud department claims occurred as a result of entering my card information to purchase the internet access. That depleted the majority of our travel budget. (We live paycheck to paycheck and had pinched & saved to be able attend this special event) I was so apprehensive on the returning flight and can’t describe my relief to learn the WIFI was free. My fears dissolved as did my aching head and back as I settled into a wonderfully comfortable seat with far more leg room than my prior flight. Thanks Key Blue! You have a fan for life!!"

Cons: "The flight was delayed several times. The plane was hot. There was a loud crying baby behind us kicking our seats... I thought there was more than one baby and was surprised to see all that was generated by one. Our attendant was a little snarky and dismissive. One entertainment screen was on the fritz, and the sound was messed up on the other, so we hacked them together to make one functioning system for one of us. The fly-fi was out of range for all but the last 30 minutes. The seats seem to be getting narrower, and I've lost weight!"
Pros: "I did appreciate how apologetic the flight crew was and eventually we were able to board our flight. I also appreciated the credit that Jetblue gave me for the inconvienence. That showed sensitivity on their part that was refreshing. I know it is the holidays so its busy, and unexpected situations do arise during these times especially, so at least the credit provided some positive relief to the disappointment."
Cons: "I understand that maintaince is a necessary and usual part of flying planes every day, that said, I had booked the earlier flight for the purpose and intention of getting into Boston earlier to spend more time with my family but arriving 5 hours later than expected was disappointing. Needless to say, the traffic getting out of Boston at 4pm on a Tuesday only added insult to injury. This was also the second time that I had an underwhelming experience overall flying Jetblue so that added to the disappointment."

Cons: "Swiss Air allowed us to book a flight with 45 minutes to connect. First flight came in a few mixtures late, but then we had to wait our long turn to deplane, get on bus and wait for it to fill up with all slower passengers, drive to terminal, make it through passport control, take train to other terminal, and run 20 gates down where they were looking for us. We made it with 1 minute to spare from takeoff. They knew our bags were connecting and they made it. If they could've expedited our passage with a club car it would have been excellent."

From the comfortable seats, the fabulous dinner, the outstanding Swiss staff from the baggage check to the wonderful flight attendants, the flight to Zürich and the return trip to Boston was amazing! I cannot say enough good things about Swiss. I would love to be able to fly Swiss Business again when I travel to Zürich in September 2019."

Cons: "I landed at Zurich airport at 6am with an 11 hour wait and tried to get onto an earlier us bound flight. The ground crew were awful and rude!. The dint make any effort to smile, look at me in the face or ask how I was doing!. Instead she took one look at my ticket and said “ sorry you bought through an agent, I can’t help you”. When I tried to ask if in future it is advisable to book through Swiss airlines directly, the customer service agent looked at me and said “ that’s your problem”- then she turned to her friend and kept talking! Honestly! . The airport terminal E is grey, drab and boring. No TV and only 2 hour of WiFi. I was told I had to pay to use one of their lounges just to get a recliner chair to lay my head for 11 hours. I felt like I was in a holding cell- and the flight was delayed by an hour, had a gate change that they dint tell us till less than 1hour- boy was I glad to leave Zurich!. If that is Swiss hospitality, they have a long way to go. Save your money and use another airline. You will be much happier- trust me."
Pros: "The most difficult problem I have to deal with in airline transportation occurs when the fellow traveler in the seat in front of me decides to drop their seat back into my lap. The seats are so close together that when the seat in front of you is all the way back the following happens: 1. You can no longer view the monitor on the seat back. 2. You cannot eat or write from your tray top. 3. You have great difficulty getting out of your seat. 4. You have great difficulty keeping from severely injuring the occupant of that seat. The way to deal with this is to get out of your seat. Stand in front of the offending passenger and as politely as you can as him or her to refrain from dropping the seat back so far. But the airline should not put you in this situation."

It looked to me like Swiss Air knew we were running close as the flight rarely (if ever) leaves on time. It was stressful for us and for the 30+ others who were still in line in immigration when the flight time passed. It turned out to not be a problem but the published times are unrealistic. Seats were tight and comfort in cattle class is NON Existent sleep on an 8 hour flight was not even possible."
Pros: "EVERYTHING WAS AWESOME BEFORE THE PLANE EVEN TOOK OFF!! My flights somehow got real messed up and everything down to my luggage had to be input manually. I wasn't sure if it was going to make it with me to the final destination. But it did! The head rest blew me away just as i sat. I love to know I can fall asleep and not have neck problems. And everything from the movies to the service to the food was great! My first international yet BEST experience in economy class was all worth it!"

The staff speaks impeccable English, there is much more leg room than on flights with American companies, and it is so pleasant to get pillows, blankets, headphones, drinks (including wine), snacks and 2 meals on our international flight and not feel nickle and dimed the way we do now on domestic flights."

Cons: "Because there was no way for us to check in early or online and they did not send us an email directing us to do so, they put us on standby even though the flights were paid for months before. We couldn't sit together--they wouldn't even try, they let the computer do it randomly as we boarded. They put my son through ridiculous strip search security measures, and when my passport fell into to the steel bullet of a garbage can, they didn't help and my son and I figure out how to go through it to get my passport. They could not have been more unhelpful. Plus the food was terrible, and delays both in taking off and getting to the gate. I will NEVER fly Swiss Air again."

Since I had passed through passport control, I didn't think I would need to go through again just before boarding. I was in line, ready to have my boarding pass scanned when I was told I needed to have my passport checked! I had to step out of line, go back and get my passport checked, then go back in line to board! I could not get an assigned seat until I got to Zurich. I needed an aisle seat (I had a bladder infection and would need to use the toilet often). It was left up to me to negotiate with my neighbor to switch seats--- the crew would not help at all. I was cramped in my seat. The man in front of me put his chair too far back; I was difficult to work on my laptop with so little room between me and the table. The snack was horrible---uncooked, tasteless calzone and ice cream."

The process just did not seem to be managed very well. There were issues with the tv monitors; however, the crew handled it very well. Shortly after take-off, our calm and comfortable more or less empty section of the aircraft was colonised by an extended family of Orthodox Jews in a kind of airborne West Bank situation. They weren’t in our section of the cabin at all to start with, and I don’t know why they were apparently able to get a free upgrade that I had to pay £100 for. We went from being in an almost empty cabin to being basically sat in the middle of an Orthodox Jewish kindergarten. It was awful! They were noisy, messy, were constantly getting in and out of their seats, the back of my seat kept getting kicked, and there was even a baby crawling around the aisle. We were surrounded. I have no idea whether this is characteristic of Orthodox Jewish family life, or just a completely inconsiderate family. They didn’t exactly ruin my flight, but they didn’t make it enjoyable either. I asked to be moved. The cabin crew were great and acknowledged the difficulty of the situation. My wife lost her window seat but at least we still had the legroom and peace and quiet."

The dinner selections ran out early, so a good proportion did not get their choice."

They tried to hold me back in a separate area after the screening and I once again told them my fiancee was waiting for me. One staff memeber walked with me half way back to get her and then disappeared. By the time I found her and came back, the staff memeber was no where to be found. Now we had lost are spot in the line and had to go to the back of the line. We spoke to 3 different staff people about what was going on and everyone said, oh the guy over there will help you. But no one did. The staff had No idea how to run a security check or handle paople. There was No working wifi! There was no tvs in the seats, only the old style in the aisle. The staff told me the plan was going to retire at the end of the month. The food was more for animals then for humans! We got updates by txt 10 mins before the staff updated the gate on our flight out from SFO. I have traveled all over the world with a lot of airlines and Never had such a poor service, but what is it to expect. It was United after all!"

No complimentary packet (eye shades, socks etc.) , not even a barf bag for collecting trash."

Cons: "A couple things went wrong on this trip, my checked luggage got misplaced for a day, and a nice women in baggage claim told me what was happening and a nice man handled my claim and my bag has now been returned to me. The bigger thing is my flight bas delayed taking off by 3 hours. Let me start that I would rather have a part replaced on the runway then not, safety is paramount. The fact is my flight took off 3 hours late from London (VS11), and got to my destination (BOS) 2.5 hours late. Kudos to the flight crew for getting me to my destination faster by gaining a little time. Plus, since BOSTON was my final destination it was all fine this time. But if I had had to get home to the elder person I take care of or my teenager it would been a problem. Again, I'm annoyed, but I do understand the reasons and they are valid and preferred. I have heard that airlines to keep their flight rating high, wait for planes to leave the gate on time and then do repairs on the tarmac. If this is still a SOP for airlines you should change the way the statistics are collected and figure out a way of not perpetuating this type of disincentive. This is just hypothesis on my part, and my whole trip had little negatives."

I have flown international on Delta, American Airlines, British Airlines, United, and others and any difference in the experience was negligible."

I travel a lot and normally air crew notice these things. Booked to carry skis via the Lufthansa US call center and was told there was a special offer and they were free for US bound flights. This was great news as I had assumed I had to pay. On bag check-in the associate told me they had booked them as golf clubs not skis. She also did not agree skis were free and spent 15 minutes reading the details of the contract and talking with an associate. She was polite but firm about it and I had to pay Euro100 to get them checked in."

Cons: "I paid extra for a window seat, but due to the poor alignment of the seats with the actual windows, I actually sat next to a wall! Nol much to see out of a wall. If KLM are going to charge extra for a window seat, then they should make sure there is a window there! If the seat had actually had a window it would have been an excellent flight."
