Pros: "Alaska is my first choice between Burbank and Seattle but I go all the way thru to Bellingham and the trip between Seattle and Bellingham costs more than the first leg so I generally take a bus to Bellingham from Seattle. Wishing that last leg could become more affordable."

It was orderly and on time and the staff was friendly.

The flight was cancelled without any notification at the last minute, causing a scramble of insanity as they rebooked all of us on other carriers. We’re standing in line waiting to check bags, kiosks not working, attendants don’t have any information.

Ordered dinner, was almost as tasty as a Stouffers meal (it was some type of glop of lamb). 7 hours into flight the menu advertised a warm chocolate chip cookie, asked for one was told they THOUGHT they were out, came back about an hour later said the found one, but it wasn't warm, so I passed (not a real fan of eating food they found) About 8 hours into flight , the attendant said out of the blue that they were sorry about not providing the meal all together as requested, but that the other attendant didn't know they offered that service."

Two tiny closet bathrooms in the back for all of coach and a much larger one much larger one first class (which is like 5 rows with a mesh curtain for separation). The coach bathrooms are so small a normal person can barely get in and turn around to close the door. I question whether a larger person would be able to actually use them. I also saw the flight attendant actively turn away coach passengers trying to use the first class bathroom when it was open (not standing in the aisle or anything annoying like that). That's ridiculous to have 2 tiny bathrooms for all of coach and also to make people walk all the way to the back of the plane when you are seated much closer to the first class bathroom."

Had a problem and when i asked for their assistance was given the Delta 800 number and told to call and they walked off. When i called it was a 2 hour wait for an agent. Thank goodness for their app as i was able to.change my flight with the My Delta app. Also they had overbooked the flight and rather than giving assurance to people just told us to wait and "line up orderly"."

Quick and easy. Chairs are hard but short flight, so no problem. Crew smiled and were nice.

Did not see any way to order a vegan meal during the ticket purchase or checkin process. There were no vegan meal options offered on the plane making the trip a long hungry one. Other than that, the crew was very good and the flight was very smooth and on time.

Similarly, on our flight over to London 10 days earlier, my husband and I were 2 of more than 30 passengers whose monitors never worked and we were forced to fly for 7 hours in the dark on an overnight flight staring at the backs of seats. It was miserable. The cabin crew told passengers they had begged the airline for years to replace the system but the airline refuses. Will not fly American Airlines transatlantic again."

The seating is so tight, I could barely move my legs when the seat in front of me was reclined (and I am tiny!) I landed after my connecting flight was already boarded, causing an employee from the airline to announce my name over the intercom on the plane and tell the passengers to "clear a lane for me." I ran with my suitcase over my head, bumping into people and making it to my next gate...where I was told there was ABSOLUTELY NO ROOM for my carry on...which was also, very tiny. I specifically did not want to check my bag because I needed to immediately hop off the plane to make it to work on time. Another customer was VERY upset about having to check his bag and was pulled aside. I finally was told I needed to check my bag at the gate to get on. So i did. As I entered the plane, about half of it was COMPLETELY empty with PLENTY of room. I was floored. About 10 minutes later, the very angry man happily entered with his carry on and stored it easily in the overhead bin. My frustration was at a peak. But I said nothing. When I arrived to Newark, I rushed to baggage claim and guess what? After 30 minutes of waiting, my bag never showed up. I had to check in with information and finally found it. But this caused to me to be late for work. I have usually had a great experience with United. But this experience has changed my mind completely and am very upset."

Pros: "Flight was smooth and on board crew was nice and helpful. Flight attendant noticed I came on with a cane and offered to have a wheelchair ride available in the SF airport. Reminding me that it was a large airport. I declined, but she encouraged me to try it and I agreed. She was concerned and very helpful."
Cons: "The plane was a small plane and we had to disembark on the tarmac. There were two attendants with wheelchairs but they didn't have my name so I walked on. The flight attendant called to me and said to wait. One of the attendants came up with a wheelchair and said he would take me. Unfortunately, a steep ramp had to be used to get into the airport building. He asked another worker to help him and all the way up the ramp I had to listen to comments about "good thing they had eaten their Wheaties" and "they were getting a good workout." I know that I am not a small person, but these ongoing comments were rude and insulting. When we got into the gate the attendant told me that he didn't have my name on his list and had to call for permission to take me through the airport. I waited and he came back and said he couldn't take me, but if I could wait someone else could come for me. I had waited enough already and suffered their rude comments, so I said no thanks and walked slowly through the airport. This experience has left me with a bad feeling for the airline and its personnel. I believe their staff could use sensitivity training at the very least!"

Not only did they not board him first, nobody was waiting with one at the gate. The crew had to call someone and we had to wait a decent amount of time for someone to arrive. At that point half of the plane had boarded and the other half got to gawk at him while they boarded as he was "strapped in." Getting him in his seat with a full flight was difficult and embarrassing for him. He's flown cross country and internationally many times, and this was a first. For this and a couple incidents regarding our trip from Milwaukee to Medford, by way of Denver, we no longer plan to fly United."
