I could have said no, but it was clear that it made most sense for me to sit in the middle seat (the window seat was already taken and it would have been a tight fit otherwise). Though I appreciate that the folks affected by the flight cancellation were accommodated on my flight, I hope in future the seat reassignments can also be taken into account. Also, I think slightly healthier food would be nice (chips vs cookies). Thanks."

Thus I I lost all the extra space and actually would of preferred a regular economy seat. that would’ve been more preferential then paying $60 and getting less space than I would’ve had it in a regular economy. I understand the other passengers comfort was important and if that was the case he should’ve paid $60 as well."

And then if you want to bring a carry on it costs the same as a checked bag?! Nickle and diming at its finest. All of the passengers we talked to from our flight all said the same thing. We will never fly Sun Country again."

They got us quickly up to the counter (good) but when I had to ask questions because I didn’t have time to read the signage they got an attitude with me. “Didn’t you see the sign?” And turning to another employee, “isn’t there a sign with all the information posted?” Same employee came down to the terminal and announced the wrong destination for our flight while we were boarding. On the way out of Miami and back to Nashville the crew had great attitudes but it was so disorganized we had the longest line to wait in to check in for both concourses. People were going to miss flights. They fixed that eventually but I’m not sure they did it fast enough for some. Getting through security was far faster than check in. Also, they nickel and dime you for luggage, snacks, etc. It’s a no frills flight. I’ll probably give them one more chance though."

The plane left the gate and then sat on the tarmac in another line where over 30 plus planes were also waiting to take off. WE SAT THERE ON THE TARMAC FOR OVER 2 HOURS. Not that Sun Country was at fault, but we should have never been able to board, knowing that the airport was that backed up. JFK is notorious for doing this to customers."
Pros: "Minnesota was beautiful this time of year! The flight itself was typical, similar to flying Southwest. Boarding moved. The crew were average, nothing above and beyond. Overall decent flight, but then we got diverted. Some positive shout outs to those who worked to make an unfortunate event better: Texas Aero Services and the 20 year olds at the desk were given a challenging and difficult situation which they would not be expected to prepare for and did a decent job. It was a tough spot for them and what Sun Country did to them was extremely unfair and unprofessional. These young men gave credit to the dispatcher at Sun Country who attempted to call up to the CEO, unfortunately he was not empowered enough to take care of the situation. Several star players here, but the team failed. Thanks to Waco Police and the staff at Whataburger for spinning up hundreds of meals in short order beyond the midnight hour. Cons: "Our flight, Sun Country 550 from MSP to DFW diverted to Waco, TX. While unfortunate weather diverts happen, the airline failed to own the situation. The airline was ad hoc and did not have a plan to take care and comfort customers in an unfortunate event. With the lack of communication, I am concerned how this airline would respond in an elevated scenario. The pilot told us we had the option to deplane. After he stepped off, the flight attendant provided conflicting direction that we would all deplane and there was no option to deplane confusing passengers (crew coordination, who's in charge?). Maybe an hour later the plane and crew take off leaving all 150+ pax at what was essentially a closed terminal. Sun Country left no representation on the scene. (lack of leadership and communication). Local law enforcement and the general aviation terminal staff picked up where they could. Sun Country made valid statements with respect to FAA/TSA regulations, but they also blamed the local shuttle company for "not cooperating". The company repeatedly deflected ownership. With regards to ground transportation, we expected that it would arrive within a reasonable time (30 minutes) after deplaning. That turned into hours. I understand bus drivers have a certain fee for getting out of bed at 2AM. Sun Country, as some of us were getting a little stir crazy, I was able to call a local 24/7 hour limo service. They could be at the terminals in short order. For $750, we would get 1 limo, 22 pax from Waco to DFW. Speaking with them, moving 150 people was fairly simple. Sun Country, please try harder. For your new CEO, study this incident and you can see what you need to fix at your company. The most tragic thing I witnessed was a pregnant mother, with lap child experiencing morning sickness in front of everyone at the terminal. What angers me is no one from Sun Country was there to see or comfort her. Those people were in bed or unavailable. There were multiple failures here. In hindsight, it may have been better if the pilot refused Waco and requested Austin where there would have been TSA staff, a standby crew, or more reasonable accommodations. Sun Country could have some contingency contracts with local ground transit companies. There's a lot this airline can take in from this experience to improve themselves, let's hope they do. I would like some consideration for this terrible experience and if this airline cares about its image it should reach out to all flight passengers to apologize and get their feedback to so they don't muck it up again."

Someone left a bag under the seat in front of me. It was from the previous flight. There was a kindle and a cell phone in it. There was also an empty coffee cup under the seat across the isle from me. I find it hard to believe that they are cleaning between each flight but missed these items.
Ground stop at ORD delayed our flight out of Burlington. Arrived ORD with a few minutes to spare. Sure would’ve been nice to know that our connecting flight had been delayed. Would’ve saved some stressful running from gate to gate. Otherwise: all good.

It creates enormous crowds of people jockeying to be near the tiny lanes for when their number is called 5 or 10 minutes down the line. AA needs to reduce the number of boarding groups, lengthen the lanes, and provide more of them. No other airline boards this way. That's because this boarding method is stupid. Unsurprisingly, our plane took off late because they couldn't get everyone boarded in time."

Somehow European airlines manage not to freeze out all their passengers. It was less than a two hour flight but felt like an eternity because it was so uncomfortable. Seat size - this is absolutely the smallest it can/should go. I am pretty skinny, but even I'm running out of room and the seat backs could be made a bit more comfortable. Not only is there almost no recline, but the way they are constructed - they actually push my head forward - not made for short people."

I would say that we will never fly American Airlines again nor will my family. This was not the only delay or cancellation because of American either. I'm 66 and my husband is 72 (who also has had back surgery for five slipped discs) and we had to sleep on concrete floors and had very limited money to buy food. It was by far the worst experience of my life and I would encourage everyone to not travel with them."

The air started blowing very hot air about halfway through the flight. Everyone was sweating and it was better to just turn the air off completely then keep it on. They tried taking care of it which helped for 5 minutes and then it started blowing hot again. Also the WiFi would kick you off after about 30 seconds and then make you go through a login that takes like 60 seconds. Needless to say... this was the first time I haven't flown Southwest in years... and with the kind of experience it's no wonder why it won't happen again any time soon."
