Pros: "Cramped seats and no beverage service. No crew interaction."
Pros: "Everything was good, excellent. No complaint at all!"
Cons: "Perfect no further better service, I suppose."
Pros: "crew was amazing and movie selection was good"
Cons: "poor business class seats and small screens"
Pros: "Everything, from boarding to departure, the service is excellent! The staff was attentive and very welcoming. Spending a few hours reminded me why I fell in love with SK in the first place."
Cons: "Food selection was ehhh. Selection and quality of food flying into SK was a lot better."
Pros: "I really loved that the airline accommodated to me being vegan. They also provided me with vegan creamer if I wanted coffee which was great. The staff was also super friendly which was a big plus because they were easily approachable."
Pros: "The great service and comfortable flight"
Cons: "N/A"
Pros: "The trip was excellent because first of all, I was the one who booked it. Secondly, I selected all the aisle seats. The airline isnine of the best with friendly and courteous crew."
Cons: "The USB port on my seat to charge my cell phone was broken. And the airplane gets warmer in the duration of the flight. The crew should always make sure that the air conditioning's thermostat is in the coller setting."
Cons: "My seat was broken and uncomfortable. 13 hour flight and you can’t lean back one bit"
Pros: "Excellent service and food!"
Cons: "N/A"
Pros: "The cabin crew are the most professional and beautiful in the airline business."
Cons: "The fact that the flight was delayed over 4 hours, added to the 7 hour layover that had, made the trip very long. I would of liked at least a voucher for a hotel to sleep, because lounge chairs are not very comfortable."
Pros: "best airline ever"
Cons: "The website did not let me choose the seat when I tried to check-in. In addition, the flight attendant was not welcoming because she kept saying that you cannot have more food :("
Pros: "Flight attendants were very friendly and professional. Made us feel very welcomed. Everything went smoothly from the beginning. From ticketing agents through the baggage claims. No problems locating our luggage. Everything was efficient. Will travel again with them when I go back."
Pros: "Good service. The food was good, better than most airlines that I've flown with. The seat was comfortable with good leg room. Good documentary films."
Cons: "There wad a7 hour delay in Korea and the staff at the airport were not helpful. I asked them if I was in the right place for my connecting flight and all they said was come back in 1 hour. I came back 1 hour later and asked if I'm still in the right place sand when my flight would be boarding. They again said come back in 1 hour. This went on for 7 hours and they never made Amy announcements to inform anyone of when the flights would finally board."
Cons: "Horrible delayed and no food offer or available even to purchase!"
Pros: "I love it."
Cons: "none"
Pros: "Was very far but the crew was very helpful and attentive all the way here. We had an infant with us and the crew did everything to make him comfortable when he was fuzzy."
Pros: "The staff is friendly and helpful"
Cons: "There wasnt anything i didnt like for this flight"
Pros: "I am big person, and being able to cross my legs even in economy seats is a real relief. Good selection of Hollywood and Asian films was enjoyable. I liked that our flight data was always viewable in a variety of formats."
Cons: "the cabin temperature was a little hot. The staff tunred it down after i asked, but even then it was still a bit warm for me. People who are cold can put on blankets or jackets, but people who are hot can't remove clothing, so i think a lower standard temperature setting would be nice."
Pros: "The service and entertainment"
Cons: "Sitting down 12 hrs it was very painful to be sitting that long. My seat eould heat up and it was uncomfortable also. I couldn't sleep during the flight"
Pros: "For some reason the crew seemed more attentive and maybe fresher coming back from ICN than going to ICN"
Cons: "The only problem was the long layover"
Pros: "Outstanding customer service! We will fly Korean Air again!"
Cons: "They ran out of 2 of the 3 food choices after serving only half of the plane."
Pros: "Cabin crew was polite. Restrooms kept clean by the cabin crew"
Cons: "Seat was hard."
Pros: "I could never have survived that long a trip on a cramped US airline sitting in a center seat."
Cons: "I don't like their policy of closing all the blinds when it is daylight outside."
Pros: "The staff was friendly and even though it was a quick flight they still provided a light meal. They were very efficient getting people on and off the plane."
Pros: "I have flown many times with many airlines, and I must say that Korean Air is by far THE BEST. From staff to food to entertainment. They crew will go out of there way to do what they can to ensure you have a comfortable and good experience. I will DEFINITELY fly with them again. Kayak was very user friendly also."
Cons: "The flight was very lomg, but nothing could be done to remedy that."
Pros: "Light flight, extra space."
Cons: "One of the luggage wheels is broken. No ground personal in the airport to take care of the matter. Called and eMailed the claim. However, KAL refuses to look into the matter."
Pros: "Awesome trip"
Cons: "No complain. The crew did great service."
Pros: "Incheon airport was really nice for the layover. Korean Air staff are top notch."
Cons: "Cabin was a little warm the whole time. No individual air controls on this particular plane."
Pros: "A380 is great plane (this coming from a real Boeing enthusiast). Very Quiet! Coach had more leg room than I expected, especially for a non-US carrier. Good service and great inflight entertainment. The airline is not a US domestic carrier so flight staff might not understand every English word of a request but they try very hard. Most US carriers would not try as hard if I were speaking Korean! The whole world does not speak your language and remember that coach is coach for a reason $$$. Customs procedures are out of the control of carriers so comments about that."
Cons: "No individual control for air vent and it was a bit warm for me but most people were comfortable."
Pros: "Cabin crews are very kind."
Pros: "Everything was perfect!"
Pros: "Good customer service"
Pros: "Staff great"
Cons: "Food selection"
Pros: "The crew are friendly, the flight was comfortable"
Cons: "Nothing"
Pros: "The attention to detail and excellent service was better than I had expected. I was especially impressed by the stickers the cabin attendants used to notify sleeping passengers upon waking up that the meal/drinks were still available upon request."
Pros: "All of the flight attendants were professional in appearance and behavior. They cleaned the restrooms after each client left the restroom."
Cons: "I was coming from a very cold climate and had on long underwear under my street clothes. So unfortunately, it seemed that the blankets were "too" warm on the plane."
Pros: "The stewardesses are very good and attentive."
Cons: "Not applicable"
Pros: "I really liked the prices of the tickets for this trip, I saved money over the regular price plane tickets; since I had 2 long layovers in Seoul at Inchoen Airport. I love this airport, it is clean, modern and offers so much amenities for FREE. The best for my second time LONG Lay over. My firtst time was at an airport in Alaska which I completely forgot since it was nearly 30 years ago. The flying experience was totally good from flying from BKK as it was also a good airport. I also liked the services, the crews were courteous and helpful."
Cons: "Flights were full and of course I had a seat in seat 32E next to a man who was ofviously either sick or had a bad allergy, he sneezed and sneezed 1/2 of the whole flight when he was awake and slept most of the time so it was difficult for me to get in and out to the rest room. Luckily the people in seats 32F & 32G were kind enough to let me in and out (I got out mostly while the lady in seat 32F was getting out of her seat.) Mostly the other experiences were good overall."
Pros: "The crew's professionalism and service. I wish Korean Air could provide training to the US based airlines! Well done!"
Cons: "The vegan meal was served twice during the flight. A bit more variety would have been nice. Qatar airways has a better variety of entertainment."
Pros: "The crew was very anxious or something, controlling for no reason."
Pros: "It may be my imagination, but I feel like the seats on this Korean Air Flight lean back more and have more leg room that flights I've been on in the past. Also the crew was so kind, even when dealing with tired, grumpy passengers."
Cons: "I'm a big person so the seats are not comfortable for sleeping during long flights. Also, the Korean crew is usually excellent so I was surprised the crew on this flight was only average."
Pros: "I have flown with many airlines and Korean Air is by far the best airlines I have flown with. Great service, perfect locations."
Cons: "China Air was alright. Just didn't like the whole running around the airport trying to figure out what counter to go to. Also I am not a big fan of getting transported via bus from terminal to plane"
Pros: "everything"
Cons: "nothing"
Pros: "perfect service"
Cons: "n/a"
Pros: "Leg room was more than most economy; however, my seat would not lay down and it was miserable for 11 hr ride from Korea to Los Angeles, California."
Cons: "Seat would not lay down for 11 hours."
Pros: "The incheon airport efficiency, the food Inboard, the transit was food."
Cons: "No snacks like ice cream or snacks. Crew was not as sensitive and attractive to passengers."

Always a great experience with an Asiana flight

Pros: "Amazing crew, Great flight."
Cons: "Nothing I can think of."
Pros: "Had a whole row to myself"
Cons: "Food wasn’t great"
Pros: "Good food. Very clean bathrooms. Great service"
Pros: "I really liked the food selection they provided in economy. Also enjoyed how they would time dinner and breakfast depending on our location. Left in the afternoon, had dinner while still in the Korean timezone. Snoozed for 7 or so hours and it was time for breakfast when we reached the pacific time zone. I especially enjoyed their in flight exercises before landing, it really felt great to get some proper circulation after sitting for a few hours."
Cons: "While traveling on the long haul flights, I really liked flying on the Airbus; flight from Los Angeles to Seoul was initially on an Airbus, very modern with better screen and power outlets! My flight from Seoul to Los Angeles was on a Boeing which felt a bit older; entertainment screen was smaller and had a strange viewing angle (you have to adjust the tile until you get a clear view). While not really bad, I could've paid more attention to see if they inform which type of planes are being used during booking."
Pros: "ㅎ"
Pros: "The crew was great, food was great and the seats wider and comfortable !"
Pros: "lots of legroom. courteous staff. bathroom is clean"
Cons: "everything is excellent"
Pros: "FOOD WAS GREAT"
Cons: "BOARDING WAS BETTER THAN MANILA BUT STILL NOT GREAT - NEEDS MORE COMMUNICATION"
Pros: "The price. Significantly cheaper than our normal ride on EVA through Taipei. Having said that...won't do it again."
Cons: "We travel between the US and Asia a couple of times a year and normally fly on EVA, who has wonderful service and great food. We took Asiana this time because the ticket price was significantly less than EVA. Below are the reasons we won't do it again. 1. The food was awful. My wife had the Asian dishes and I had the Western dishes. Both were well below the quality of food we're used to on EVA. 2. Transit in Seoul. On the way to Bangkok from LA we had 50 minutes to transit Seoul to our next flight. The transit security line was quite long and it was obvious that we, along with a few dozen other passengers, weren't going to be able to make the connection. After much complaining from us and our fellow passengers they ran us through another security line. Rushed to the airplane and made it. On returning to LA from Bangkok it was exactly the opposite. The only option was nearly 8 hours connection in Seoul. But we had plenty of time to negotiate the transit security line. These connect times did not occur because of a last-minute ticket purchase. I purchased these tickets in July for a December/January flight to Bangkok and return. 3. Inflight service was not at the level of EVA. Like any other Asian carrier, the flight attendants were light years ahead of ANY US airline crew, but below the standard of EVA. Waking you up to eat a meal (I typically don't eat dinner at 1AM), etc. I was sleeping with my seat reclined and the flight attendant took it upon herself to upright my seat at meal time and woke me up, presumably so the person in the seat behind me was more comfortable with space to eat their meal, but hey...I purchased the seat to sleep just like the other passenger purchased the seat to eat, so I think I had just as much right to "my space and comfort" as the other passenger did. Just little stuff that doesn't happen on EVA. 4. Inflight entertainment is lacking as compared to EVA. Few movie and TV choices, few game choices. 5. We sat in economy. The seats were not very comfortable. Seems the cushions were thin and it became like sitting on plywood after a while. Legroom on the 747 flight wasn't so great, but there was plenty of legroom on the A380. The A380 seating was still kinda hard, but the legroom sure helped. 6. Boarding process. Poorly organized. Nobody pays a bit of attention to "boarding by row number". Consequently it's a bit of chaos during boarding. The old saying, "you get what you pay for" is true. For a flight of that length I won't choose to save the $200 or so per ticket and will ride on EVA. We've proven to ourselves that EVA is just pretty hard to beat."
Pros: "Plane are clean"
Cons: "The food is really good"
Pros: "Asiana air is so nice, they give all customers slipper to feel comfortable on flight."
Cons: "Food is just so so and they should give snack for long flights."
Pros: "on-plane flight operation is very good"
Cons: "back-office support is very poor. for example they sent me an email before the departure date in Korean only."
Pros: "Great service. Good food. Excellent entertainment options. Coach had widest seats I've ever sat in. Asiana is always my first choice for China-LAX."
Cons: "There was loads of turbulence, but it was handled well. And frankly, an airline can't control air conditions. So I have no real bad things to say about this flight."
Cons: "I searched for business class trips on kayak, selected one and booked it through Kayak.com. When I checked in I found out I’d been the victim of a bait and switch and was actually on an economy ticket, but at $3500–a solidly business class fare. Lesson learned, never trust Kayak.com for the booking, the scoundrels."
Pros: "Stewardesses were great!"
Cons: "Turbulence was horrible and couldn’t understand the captain’s English very well."
Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "The crew was very rude and we were only served one meal"
Pros: "charming & efficient staff"
Pros: "Overall service... was very good."
Pros: "Facial mask pack service"
Pros: "Flight was not over crowded. Got to rest. Crew very helpful and friendly"
Cons: "Food disappointing"
Cons: "Delayed flight. Baggage claim was also dragging"
Cons: "Once again, a delayed flight"
Pros: "Crew friendly and approachable."
Cons: "Food was okay, but that crew should have condiments handy when requested and not have to go retrieve in pantry which takes some time"
Pros: "Some crew members were very kind and helpful."
Cons: "This airline puts priority on Korean speaking men non Korean women with a helpless child. First of all, my child was too large for the bassinet so I held him the entire time. Fine, I get it's for safety. But to make matters worse, my child had a fever and cried out of discomfort for the first 3 hours of a 10 hour flight. A male passenger complained and instead of defending a mother and a helpless sick child, the flight crew kept insisting ways to make my baby stop crying. Do you think I wanted to hear my child in that much pain? No, of course not. One male crew member told me to take my child to the back of thr aircraft (away from the complaining man). Ummm... I paid for my seat just like everyone else!! To be treated differently just because my baby is crying is HORRIBLE. To top it off, the seats are the worst I've ever sat in. My back and butt were in so much pain from those horrible seats. Bottom line- I will NEVER fly with this airline again after the mistreatment my baby and I received. This airline puts Korean speaking men above anyone else's needs, including a helpless 14 month old who feels horrible and doesn't know how else to communicate pain. I'll add that we were on a 10 hour flight after a 9 hour layover in Incheon and a 4 hour plane ride that was DELAYED from 1:45AM to 3:45AM. We were extremely tired and had been through so much already. If the crew had been more protective of us and understanding to the fact that he's a BABY I would have let the complaints slide. Last note- this airline delayed us 3 separate times. Yes.. 3 separate occasions. Do I need to say anything more?"
Pros: "The exceptional service combined with the great food and cleanliness of the cabin was great."
Cons: "For whatever reason they had me go to the end of the line even though my ticket was for business class. I wasn’t upset, byt just a little confused. Other than that everyone else was pretty polite."
Pros: "They served grewl twice I thought I was getting grewl with road kill to eat"
Cons: "The food and seemed like one of the lady's working there did not like her job"
Pros: "leg room was better than most."
Cons: "seat cushions were kinda hard"
Pros: "On time"
Cons: "The air was not pure it circulated and I got sick next time make sure the ac is working properly and there was no choice for food selection it the same during the entirety flight the flight attendants did not understand English I have to point or using signs language"
Cons: "Delay, delay, delay from boarding, taking off to baggage arrival. Staff wasn't too attentive to passengers considering all the delay for example, giving ample snack for the late dinner. The dinner was terrible, options were horrid for non Koreans. The chicken was pink w old texture. Quality of food was immensely poor for Asiana. The staff on our row weren't pleasant and consistently didn't serve water or any liquids during this long flight."
Pros: "A380 service, well staffed. Comfortable lay flat seats in 1-2-1 upper deck configuration. Food was good and crew was very accomafstig on service timing. They went out of their way to meet customer desires to sleep first eat later!"
Cons: "English Movies consisted of only latest first run. No selection of Chinese language films (big china transit clientele) hardly any TV shows to browse from other than Korean"
Pros: "We really enjoyed the size and comfort of the Airbus 380. Very quiet and powerful as we crossed the Pacific Ocean. The crew were very helpful and always friendly throughout the entire 11 hours back home."
Pros: "I am on the plus size and I always have a hard time choosing an airline that would be comfortable for my size. Its was my first time to fly with Asiana and I was so impressed with how generous their seat space is."
Cons: "Food is not the great"
Cons: "They changed our seat assignments, putting someone on the end of our row even though there were many other empty seats. As a result of the constriction, my feet and ankles swelled up. I can barely walk."
Pros: "NA"
Cons: "NA"
Pros: "The staff was really friendly and kind, but people just on the plane in general were pretty bad. (Although a cute baby kept walking around and not sleeping almost the entire flight, I was just glad that I was going back home)."
Cons: "The people in the back of me was so rude, they did not let me put my seat back although the Asiana staff told me I could, but they just kept complaining."
Cons: "1. The stewards were not friendly, especially she kept on forgetting to give me food since I was unfortunately sitting by the window next to 2 big men in the middle and aisle seats. 2. In LA while getting my luggages from the caroussel, I asked the porters 3 times to help me lift, but they ignored me and just attended to the ones with wheelchairs. Even if I'm not in a wheelchair, I am a seniour, and there are aches already in my body here and there. So that day, my back was aching til the following day. Lesson learned, other airlines are much much better than Asiana when it comes to treatment given to seniours. My first time to try, maybe the last."
Pros: "I usually fly Korean Air. This time I flew Asiana. The plane was clean and comfortable, the service friendly and good, the food way better than Korean Air, the entertainment system easy to use with many choices."
Cons: "Everything was good."
Pros: "I love the a380 airbus!!!! U also helped me with my knee needs...i needed to keep rt knee straight"
Cons: "Got sick from veg food"
Pros: "Crew is professional and courteous! I was sleeping when they came by with meal service and they left me a sticky note telling me to contact them for food when I woke up ( nice). Food pretty decent for airline food."
Cons: "The flight was late more 2 hours. The beverage didn't deliver usually and enough."
Pros: "Service is good"
Cons: "There is so much of delaying and layover"
Cons: "No vegetarian food."
Pros: "Had the Korean BBQ and was excellent. Entertainment options were great too!"
Pros: "Again, Asiana offers very good and efficient service for the money. Overall I would definitely fly them again and recommend them to anyone who asked."
Cons: "My only complaint is that the cabin staff were often not visible for hours at a time. On my flight from LA to Seoul, the crew was constantly in the aisles offering water and juice without being summoned by passengers. There were a few times when I wished that someone would come by with water or juice, but didn't want to press the call button to get them. Lunch options as we neared LAX were both Asian style, and a middle-ground option would have been appreciated. On the outbound flight to Seoul we had breakfast options that included pancakes."
Pros: "Clean bathroom, well maintain during flight unlike some airlines 5 stars for that"
Cons: "Chicken was grilled marked than steam result tuff rubbery. Hostess refused to exchange it with beef saying thete eas no more on the spot, not even asking others waitresses from different raw, while later on when everyone wad sleeping I went to asked for water and there you go. She ead eating the beef from economic class and a dish from first class. I always thought that customers are valuable because we pay their salaries?! Very desapointed from this hotess from the Philli. Who during the who flight treat me like dirt, maybe she hates Americain? Also most of movies are children oriented only a few for mature minds and they are over a year old. First time on Asiana and last time even been a star alliance member what a disappointment!"
Pros: "Crew members were helpful and nice."
Cons: "1.Flight Network said that the transaction was in US dollars. Therefore there shouldn't have been a currency exchange fee from my US bank. However, Flight Network charged Canadian dollars, so my US bank charged me a 3% exchange fee and the Canadian bank charged me another $8 fee resulting in a combined $32 extra to the price.of my ticket. Flight Network was not honest about the currency of the transaction. Kayak should require that Flight Network and any other vendors be honest about the currency of the transaction. 2. The extra 5 hours of layover at Incheon Airport was a total drag. It caused me to miss my connecting flight from LAX to Mexico City, so by the time I got into Mexico City there were no more buses running to Queretaro. I had to book a room in Mexico City at an additional expense and pay for taxi fare that I would not have needed if Asiana Airlines hadn't added 5 extra hours of layover to my trip."
Pros: "Clean and crew were excellent and responsive. Good communication and good choices of food. Economy seat seems to be wider and more comfortable than Air China which I flew last April. Also Incheon Airport WiFi was easy to connect compare to China airports."
Cons: "My entertainment remote was broken already!"
Pros: "The entire experience went perfectly. Everything was prompt, smooth, and on time."
Cons: "Nothing. A prepared traveler, is a good traveler. These are different times. Understand there are limitations for everyone. Focus on the basics. Do your homework. Read the airlines’ travel updates. Bring minimal gear. Be EARLY. And lastly, be grateful for getting a flight at a great price. If the flight went smoothly, don’t complain and moan about the little stuff that has nothing to do with getting from point A to point B. It’s a struggle for all of us. Please understand that."
Cons: "Plane was Not full, enough social distancing."
Cons: "couldnt change it"
Cons: "Boarding process"
Pros: "Awesome experience"
Pros: "Very good"
Cons: "Not much except the air con which was so freezing ( pls raise the thermostat a little bit"
Pros: "Yes very much"
Pros: "None."
Cons: "From worst to worst."
Pros: "None at all."
Cons: "If they give you the seat assignment you pay for."
Pros: "Entertainment was good and food and snacls"
Cons: "Communication with passengers about the 7 hour flight delay I experienced. We were not given food and drink vouchers"
Pros: "no comment"
Cons: "check in was confusing, …."
Pros: "Everything is superb!"
Pros: "Since it was over booked, my seat was upgraded to business class."
Pros: "The flight was excellent except for the food. They could have fone better."
Pros: "crew were amazing"
Cons: "There was no entertainment at all. The screens were all broken. There was no food or water for 10 hours and the flight was delayed for an hour"
Pros: "Overall great"
Cons: "Was not able to online check in"
Pros: "Crew was great and so was entertainment"
Cons: "Communication on flight delays/ cancellations. Left our hotel room early to go to sleep in the airport for 8 hours because there was no information emailed out to inform us of a 6.5 hour delay"
Pros: "3 hrs delayed."
Cons: "To check out baggage it was very long try to make it short"
Cons: "old 777, no storage, not comfortable, entertainment system not working via remote, service so so."
Pros: "Clean toilets."
Cons: "The flight was terrible. The boarding process was improperly conducted causing a lack of overhead space in the baggage storage overhead. The entertainment system was broken and the flight transfer process was terrible and confusing. I had the worst trip in over 300 life time trips. I felt like the price was way too high for the service I received! I need a partial refund at a minimun. This flight was terrible for my 3 children and I."
Pros: "Well I found out they are not accommodating or flexible and denied my request to upgrade to business class at additional charge"
Cons: "Not much to like there"
Cons: "The Manila airport is a mess! Everyone tells you something different. No one seems to know where to send you. I've never in my life had to exit an airport on a layover to re-enter again and go through the entire check-in process from scratch. There are no signs anywhere that tell you you will have to go through security a SECOND time once you're at the gate. I'm diabetic and need to have water on me at all times. I can't get dehydrated. I had no clue I woudn't be able to take the bottles of water I PURCHASED AT THE AIRPORT!!! with me on the plane. I've never experienced that in all my years of flying. No other airline or airport has ever made you throw out the water that you purchased at the airport. So I wasted my money there. PLUS, the only vendor that had any sort of appetizing food that I could eat as a diabetic was a cash only vendor. They took USD, great, but they were using a conversion chart from May 2017 (I was flying in March 2018) so the exchange rate was in THEIR favor. And they won't give you USD in change. They give you Philippine money in change. So I get screwed on the exchange rate on BOTH sides of the transaction. Plus, what am I going to do with Philippine money when I'm only in the airport for a layover??? So I'm going to lose money again to change it back to USD once I get home. Archaic. We are living in the 21st century. This shouldn't happen. The plane was sooooo uncomfortable for a 13 hour flight. The entertainment system at my seat wasn't working so I had to be moved once we were in the air. The new seat was so worn in, there was virtually no padding underneath my saecrum (butt bone) for the 13 hours. No foot rest, either. And the temperature in the plane fluxuated the whole time between hot and cold (although mostly hot). You should take some lessons from Singapore Airlines.....so much more comfortable in ALL aspects."
Pros: "Friendly and very attentive flight crew."
Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "Poor service, rude flight attendants, didn’t give me seat they told me they were giving me, terrible food, flight attendants run past you instead of taking their time to give people beverages."
Pros: "Boarding delay in MNL but still arrived in LAX on-time."
Cons: "Problems with the inflight myPal system; No sound. Informed the flight attendants and they tried to reboot the system/ provide new headphones... still no sound. My wife and daughter had same issue with their unit."
Cons: "The menu mainly. I have to understand that passengers are Filipino. Everything is so with sugar! It is not a complain. just I will have to get organized next time to buy some fruit or something more in accordance with diabetes and high blood pressure. overall great trip!"
Pros: "Absolutely nothing."
Cons: "A Philippine Airlines check-in personnel did not fail to make my family feel extremely disrespected by treating us in such a rude manner at their counter. After verifying our information, she proceeded to tell us we had no reserved seats for our flight. When I told her we had seat numbers (thus reserved seats) when I checked their website the night before, she had the audacity to imply that we were lying about these mediocre seats! After speaking to the supervisor, she then proceeded to tell us that we should be thankful for the seats she was able to give us, WHICH WERE THE EXACT SAME SEATS THAT WERE LISTED ON THEIR WEBSITE THE DAY BEFORE. Philippine Airlines need to better train their check-in personnel proper customer service to prevent passengers from having such unpleasant experiences with their staff. Our check-in process would have gone smoothly had she not replied in such a snarky manner to us and implied that we owe her for the seats we had in the first place."
Pros: "PAL express from LAX to Manila had accommodation for their passangers"
Cons: "I could not connect to WiFi even though it was free."
Pros: "This was my first time flying with PAL. I had read the reviews mostly good, some not so good but I decided to do it because I was going to meet my fiancee. Flew from LA to Manila and back. The flights took off late (which I later found out is called Filipino time LOL). The crew was AWESOME, the only problem was on the return flight I had some trouble getting a stewardess but to be fair EVERYBODY was hitting the bells to get service. The food was good and I liked the choices. I would DEFINITELY fly PAL again!!!!!"
Pros: "Easy and on time boarding ."
Cons: "My attendant Anesha Juan PR 112 June 5 11:30 am Manila to Los Angeles was too slow and 3x , food were gone when it's my turn to receive. Due to her slowness , other crew/attendant got other trays of foods from her cart and have it to the other side . I didn't eat breakfast because I am unhappy with the way she work."
Pros: "The crew was particularly proficient in their service during flight."
Cons: "Very uncomfortable, the seat I was on would not recline made my trip very unpleasant."
Pros: "I like that the plane was not very full and I had no seatmate beside me. The staff were attentive to the needs of the passengers."
Cons: "There was nothing I didn't like."
Cons: "Taking 2 shuttle buses, transferring."
Cons: "It was the shortest flight time I've ever had from cebu going back to LA"
Pros: "Flight was in time and service was good as expected"
Cons: "Flight was a little bumpy but still on time"
Pros: "Watching movies and food"
Cons: "They don't call out any info for boarding; the seats are very tight and cramped; no leg room; no room to stretch in the aisles; I sat on the aisle and kept getting hit with the f&b cart; flight crew took too long using the bathrooms; took too long to get off the plane, I almost missed connecting flight; never fly them again!!"
Cons: "Excellent staff. Very service oriented. I would fly them again. Good as well."
Cons: "the airport in Manila is terrible. Elevator broken so had to carry my carryon up 6 or 7 flights of stairs. Not enough seats for the voucher breakfast and the breakfast was mainly tiny and full of carbohydrates."
Pros: "Seat is good and nes"
Pros: "Everything else was fine other than the comments as described below."
Cons: "Saw a specific female crew member ignore a passenger raising his hand and repeatedly saying excuse me to ask for a blanket, and she straight turned around to walk the other way. It's not difficult to get blankets from the overhead bin and with the possibility of other passengers asking, it's part of your job. A male crew member was attentive to the passenger after he immediately recognized the passenger's request walking through the aisle. This was from MNL to NRT. Also on one of the connecting flights (could have been same as above), the flight departed late because they allowed another passenger through that wasn't suppose to be on that flight on to the plane. They need to have better boarding pass scanners and /or the employees should pay better attention to that main detail. Air was really dry in the cabin, suggestion is to add some kind of humidifier in the plane to decrease dryness to the nose."
Pros: "Boarding and staff were fine. Was able to sleep."
Cons: "It was 2 hours late, postponed. Very old airplane. Food terrible."
Pros: "direct flight"
Cons: "aircraft is a bit old"
Pros: "Crew was very polite and helpful. Food was enjoyable."
Cons: "Seat was uncomfortable. Got worse as hours went by. Business class in front of my seat sat empty the entire trip. I understand everybody cannot be upgraded but I paid extra for aisle seat and extra leg room. Maybe passengers that paid extra for seats could get an upgrade when available? It would have been a nice treat to be able to sit in a seat that was actually comfortable. I guess the padding gets worn down from all the passenger travel an that's understandable but for passengers with 13-15 hr trips, sleeping isn't an option really and the seats are just not soft enough. Perhaps a nominal $100 upgrade fee when seats are empty in business class? I'm assuming the reason business was empty is it's just too expensive? Maybe a price adjustment is in order rather than letting those seats sit empty? Overall, the flight was a pleasant experience. The seat situation was just a blemish on the trip. I will continue to use Philippine Airlines though probably in the future. Thank you."
Cons: "Boeing flight was changed to Airbus without notification"
Pros: "I like the flight times if they depart on time."
Cons: "They were 4hrs late and I missed my connecting flight. Ground staff said don't worry someone will assist you and provide a free flight. After arriving in Manila, they ground staff said sorry nothing we can do, it's impossible. I was stranded thanks to PhilAir delays and they refused to help me. I was on time to the airport, they were delayed big time and wouldn't help when they have the ability to help."
Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "Philippine Airlines airport was convoluted, no signage, no screens, horrible. Checked-in online to speed things up, but the ladies at the "Online check-in counter" was not there, and when they turned up, there were in training. Then the boarding gates/lounge. None of the restaurants accepted credit or debit cards (?). It's an international airport!?! Unbelievable. Once boarded, realised none of the seats had screens or any onboard entertainment unless you had downloaded the myPal app. It would have been handy if the check-in staff informed us of this. Then there were flight delays, with no explanation. No screens with any live updates. Nothing. Worst terminal on planet earth! Now the plane. It must be a plane bought from another airline who completed their 30 year lease of the aircraft, because it looked like from the 1980's or older. Falling apart, uncomfortable, toilets not working, dirty, run down. The air-crew were lazy and rude and were inconsistent. One would say they ran out of something, then the person next to me would ask another crew, and received what they requested (food, assistance, pens, etc). Horrible. The pilots rarely informed us of the flight updates. Just utterly horrible! I cannot believe I have to fly with them on my return leg back home :("
Pros: "We arrived safe. And they had movies."
Cons: "Terrible, terrible experience. We were weather delayed. Fine. Very inconvenient but have to accept it. However, THEY LOST MY LUGGAGE!!! The worse part was that they acted like no big deal, it happens all the time. And THAT is why I will never ever recommend PAL to anyone. It took them 4 days to get my luggage to me. No compensation whatsoever for their incompetence in arranging my luggage to fly along with me. They should refund 25% of the flight since they only delivered me, and not my luggage."
Pros: "The smooth take off and landing made me felt safe to fly."
