Beijing would have been a better choice without the uncertainty of the connecting flight in Shanghai. There is a shuttle bus every 30 min goes between Qinhuangdao and Beijing Airport. It was still a good experience overall when I was flexible.

Japan Airlines is a difficult airline to check-in on both the app and on-line. It is best to to call and have them walk you through their process. Know that they have limited hours for customer service and may be open only Monday - Friday. Highly suggest that you visit Visit Japan Website and Register for Immigration and Customs.

It’s true bring the minimum in clothing and extra luggage. The hotels even offer nightly pajamas and slippers (hilton). Most hotels have laundry access for customers. Also, the international terminal has very cheap souvenirs- seriously 1/2 the stuff I was searching for (magnets, tshirts, shopping bags, Kirby, hello kitty, gundam etc) was cheaper and all in the bottom floor ( before security). They’re even a decent gochapon store if you still have yen’s burning a hole in your pocket.

Airport departure is a zoo. You have to show documents of travel just to gain entry. Confusing inside but staff very helpful in getting you lined up where you need to be. Immigration and security screening typical however when you arrive at departure gate you are not allowed to bring any drinks into the gate area and it is a long dry period until first service onboard. You can leave the gate area but must go through secondary screening again to return to the gate waiting area.

Wear comfy shoes it is a long flight. If you can try to get a window seat cause the middle seat is super uncomfortable. But the flight is amazing and even though it is a long flight I had fun

1. Make sure the passport information has been correctly recorded with the ticket, otherwise you will not be able to pass custom/security at China. Ticket purchased overseas often misses such info. 2. Arrive at the airport early. 3+ hours would be my recommendation.

One thing to be mindful of is that China Airlines has a carryon luggage weight restriction of 7kg. While it was somewhat enforced on my flight from LAX to TPE and I was forced to remove my laptop and other heavier items from my carryon, it was not enforced on my return flight making it very inconsistent. I do not have to deal a carryon restriction on my other international flights so this was an inconvience flying China Arilines vs other Asian airlines like EVA Air and Asiana.

Eva air was fine - Trip.com via KAYAK sold my family access to a “VIP” lounge fo a layover in Taipei… i’m please look at my pictures. It was a scam, Trip.com knows it and they are perpetrating a fraud through your web site.

My flight was amazing smooth and the attendants were so friendly and nice

Crew are excellent. Food was good generally. Seats are small and there isn’t much leg room. Overhead bins are very small.

More seat space More bathrooms Charging outlets Plane was old

It was a pleasure to fly with EVA airlines from Taipei to San Francisco.

I love EVA airline, but the KAYAK website for not in emergency, urgency and personal issues. For instance, on January 5/2026 with already booked the flight, I have a 15 hours of delay between airport when booked before as my choice. But if I want to go back home (U.S) early, then I have to contact the KAYAK office at I was in other country without phone service and nothing that EVA can do for me. Even I offered to pay more to change from another flight to go to the U.S early, not wasting at15 hours of delay, but EVA could not help me until I call KAYAK at an Island of nation. No office of KAYAK from any nation and times of difference in the world. However, everything and everyone is the best. Therefore, please KAYAK making much more easy for both the airline and passenger in some issues at the middle of nowhere in some country when no need to call KAYAK for some emergency, urgency, sick, etc or personal reference. Please, please, please no need to call KAYAK office for any changes of flights from urgency or private.

My seat arrangement was good with Eva Air. The toilet sanitary was good ( hand wash, face moist spraying, fresh air spray, hair moisturizer). But the Asian movie selection was not great at all.

For the price, it was better than other airlines; quality of food and service was very good.

The flight from Taipei to LAX was the first time we encountered rudeness from the crew. From the gate agents to the in flight crew. We had received such wonderful service going to Bali and on our Bali to Taipei flight that it shocked us when the gate agent was rude and then the rudeness continued on the flight to LAX.

The crews were friendly, professional and courteous. Checking in was easy and smooth. The best part is, as we all know, the price.

I flew on Zip Air on the way to Asia so I can compare. The two airlines are night and day. Air Premia was so amazing compared to Zip Air. I have flown Korean Air in the past and I honestly don’t know the difference between Air Premia and the “non-budget” airlines. My Air Premia flight provided me two bags whereas I had to pay for Zip Air. On my under 11 hour flight, we were provided two full meals! The flight attendants were so kind and polite.

For the price, the overall experience was what I expected. The prices were fair and competitive, the staff friendly and more responsive than other airlines, and seating spacious. The downside was food portion size, but I'll gladly pay a few dollars more for the hot noodles or other supplemental snacks, given the more affordable ticket prices. I don't mind the absence of Hollywood movie programming if that leads to inflated ticket prices. Wi-Fi worked well. In addition to spacious seating for the Wide Premiium, I'd suggest foot rests to complement the calf rests. There're problems with booking Air Premia tickets at the home website. The underlying app engine won't process non-Korean credit cards, which is a major oversight, probably hurting the company's bottom line. I can go to Kayak or a third-party website to book Air Premia tickets, but it's an awkward work-around when other airlines don't have to resort to this tactic.

Most of them are OK! But, meals service was not enough. I felt hungry after eating the meal for the first time. I had to buy some other food. So I had to buy a sandwich and drinks for the return flight. And I am not sure it's only my feeling or not, I felt my butt is getting forward. I will use Korean Air or Asiana Airline for next time to visit Korea.

This form doesn’t work. Can’t type in, had to copy-paste. The crew constantly telling everyone about minor things is unnecessary. Did you put the belt on, push your bag more under the seat… The seat space was good for tall people, the food was decent for airplane.

Roomy seats for the given price! I couldn’t ask more!

I would have enjoyed some hot tea, preferably green tea, but they only serve hot coffee.

10 Hours delay on departure of the return flight and in-flight Wi-Fi was not available entire flying time all that caused monetary loss to my business.

It was a good flight, with great crew and service. I will definitely fly with them again. Excellent experience and very friendly. Excellent value.

Crew members are very friendly. Airplane is very clean and organized. Nothing can be better then now•• Thanks Air Premia

Food could be better it was okay. Entertainment seems dated it was something but in this day and age could be a lot better.

The aircraft was massive (A-380) and became crowded with 400+ passengers on board.

Coming back to America was a peaceful flight everyone and everything was perfect

Flight was too cold. I wore a regular cotton tee and it wasn’t enough. It was a night time flight so I would have thought a blanket would be provided to passengers. A 4 hour flight and no options for a meal? I flew Asiana the next day from Seoul to Manilla. Same duration, 4 hours. They give everyone a pillow and blanket and serve a meal. Why is United so cheap and holding back meals and amenities? Also, they promote too much gay stuff and DEI in their advertisements. Please be mindful of other beliefs and don’t shove your gay ideology down my throat.

Staff always with a smile and very helpful with my mom who has mobility issues.

The seats felt very small. We were supplied with pillows and blankets, which was nice. Lots of noise from the bathroom, plus exterior noise. Made it hard to hear the entertainment system, even using my own noise-cancelling headphones. The food was really bad. I generally request a vegetarian meal and one was supplied, but the pasta was cold and hard and there was nothing pleasant about it. Two meals were served on this flight; one was a repeat of the meal I had had on the flight immediately preceding this one, which was bad enough I didn't even try it. Drinks were very limited. All I wanted was water, and on a 10.5 hour flight, I was given 3 cups of about 3 ounces each.

We took business class, It was comfortable and I was able to sleep.

The legroom in economy was better than other airlines. Since my legs are long, that means a lot. Also, the A380 from Los Angeles to Incheon gave passengers a smooth ride. Everything went smoothly from boarding to disembarkation in Incheon. I'd fly Asiana again!

The flight attendant, where kind of rude, there where hiding for almost 3 hours, without doing rounds to see if people needed water or pickup the water cups, the toilets were full of water cups, because they never come back to pick them up.

Amazing service and fabulous syaff. Loved the jumbo jet too, comfortable.

The staff from beginning to end we're friendly and helpful. The food and beverages were quite good (but see the comment below). I also liked their entertainment options, as we'll as their frequent attention to the airplane restrooms. Here are the reasons this is not a 5-star review: - You have to pay for WiFi on the plane unless you have some level of seat upgrade. - CP sent me a warning that the name I entered to book didn't match my passport. True, but the form for entering my name didn't allow for anything but a middle initial. This lead to a lot of chats, phone calls and stress before finding out at the ticket counter that it didn't matter. CP has modified their notice to now tell you this key bit of info. - After consuming a chicken dinner they offered (Kathmandu to Hong Kong), I developed symptoms entirely consistent with salmonella, beginning about 6 hours later. There were some odd things about the serving of this meal, too. Our row was the last one served, and we were given a tray without the entree on it. About 10 minutes later the stewardess came by and said they only had one chicken meal left. My seat mate and I decided he would have the lamb and I would take the chicken. I think I lost. I suspect that this entree was left over from an earlier flight and they were scrambling to get the last row fed. My seat mate and I were the last two to receive our entrees. I am not accusing CP of giving me a contaminated meal - just that the onset and progress of symptoms closely match those of salmonella poisoning. I opted out of the first meal on the next flight 13 hours later, but was fine after that.

I liked the service. The touch screen needs improvement as well as movie choices.

After each meal was served I didn't see any flight attendant offer coffee or tea to the passengers after the initial drinks were offered. Other flights I had been one it was standard procedure to offer hot drinks after the meal service.

Selected ovo lacto meal because I’m ok with milk products but not any meat. It was terrible. We had the same selection back in October when we had traveled and it was pretty good at that time. It was gross this time.

Cramped, hot and the plane was grubby. Also the plane was an hour late and it took an hour to get my luggage once I got to LAX.

Issues: 1) the charging issue as described in my previous survey 2) when I requested diet coke during the breakfast time, it is not available. Why? I can't drink diet coke in the morning? 3) when I tried to transfer to this flight, its gate information was not available to me?

The lead business class attendant was excellent. Made a point of greeting you and knowing your name by the time you leave.

A lot of things Never flying with this airline again Had an emergency landing

Chicken pieces were too big with pasta. Need to be smaller.

Check in process at the kiosk, crew in flight and overall comfort was good. Food selection could have been better. Flight from Hong Kong to Los Angeles did not have any vegetarian main course option, it was either sea food or chicken. Being a vegetarian I could only eat yogurt and fruit. Most international flights have one vegetarian main course dish which I found missing in Cathay Pacific menu.

Friendly crew, but we were delayed for more than an hour and had to change planes due to maintenance issues.

Service was professional and quick. Premium economy seat was comfortable given the class

Like: departed and arrived on time. Unlike: Food options for purchase allways bad, 1 of 2 of the crew members not very friendly at all. Seats and leg room aweful. At this point I am thinking on switching to AA.

Packed flight, which makes it tough on crew and boarding staff (and the customers of course). But this was great boarding, clear instructions, etc. Traveling on the weekends are always fraught with danger as you have families and less frequent flyers thus more confusion. But this flight went as planned.

New plane was lovely. Crew customer service is always lax but expected. Kraft on time and arrived safely.

Uncomfortable plastic seats even in premium economy. No free wifi. Even paid wifi was spotty to nonexistent. Bad food. Much worse than economy on foreign carriers like Qantas.

Outstanding service, efficient & friendly crew, flight was safe, comfortable & on time

Dinner was good, but the breakfast served in the morning was horrible.

Packed in plane small uncomfortable seats elbow to elbow nobody wants to be in that situation for the money they paid

Terrible, if possible won't be flying again anytime soon!
